Yesterday went well. There is a look K gets about her that gives away her true emotions at times when she and I are together. It is one of disgust. I am perceptive, I always notice it when it is present. M does too. Not once did that look appear yesterday. She was warm and appreciative, and seemed to appreciate and even enjoy being nurtured and cared for. My daughter is in there. I see her, I feel her, and I am shining all over her, reaching her heart right past all the hurts she has embraced. Good for her soul, and good for mine as well.

There is something wrong, in her body. The doc squeezed her in to be seen today. And everyone is relieved. There is a knife like pain, and in this area there is swelling this morning. It looks rather like a length of hose inserted under her skin, just under her belly.

The only awkward moment was when Little One said he was confused. I asked why. He said because he wanted to know if magic is real. I answered that some folks think so and others don't. Before bed, when we were snuggling, I told him that if he wanted to know the answer to that question to put his hand on his stuffed monkey's belly. Where something has been placed

Quite a long Gratitude List today. I have set up a small altar space in M's bedroom where I burned some incense and a candle. But no one else will be uncomfortable with this. A secret sacred space I will carry with me, here and now.

Speaking of judgmental and paranoid…

I watched too many super soldier video in the last several days. And in-between, I checked in on the different threads. Some of which I wish weren’t posted in general area or where our guests have access. IMO: they belong in lighter side or private side.

I’ve held back on these thoughts because I reasoned that if I don’t like the negative, provocative, or (fill in the blank threads), then I ‘should’ (word should is intentional here) come up with one or two threads. Or just don’t read them. Or use the opportunity to go beyond judgmental. Or what gives me the right to say what ‘should’ and ‘should not’ be posted?

Or dig deeper into the reasons why I feel paranoid. Or just because there are two matching nondescript cars parked two days in a row where I walk, doesn’t mean anything. Or that there was an RV tattooed with stickers like ‘don’t tread on me’ and ‘screw the government’ wasn’t just a honey trap. Or the uptick in helicopters and planes overhead this past year are nothing more than helicopters and planes over head. Or that state police guy that pulled into my Ben & Jerry’s store today to ‘talk’ with an elderly lady does not mean ‘cops coming to a town near you’.

Will return after this bitchy, cranky attitude adjustment gets sorted out.

Ok, here my little Julie Christie story:

I used to be friends with an artist called David Henderson, who painted these large photo-realist oil paintings.
He was part of the Pink Floyd- Storm Thurgerson Cambridge crowd, I mentioned before.

Anyway, David moved out of Storm's Egerton Court apartment and into a three-story house which belonged to the actress Julie Christie,
but she let him stay there, rent-free.
And a few years later when my career took off I could afford to buy one of Dave's paintings, one which he worked on for more than a year, and would also take him food, as he was the proverbial starving artist.
We would sit in his kitchen and have a cup of tea and Julie's Oscar would be sitting on the shelf above my head, all covered in grease.
She had found the whole Academy Award situation unwholesome and didn't care to even collect her Oscar.
Then in 1986 when I was already living in Barbados and had to pass through London again I visited Dave, and noticed that the Oscar was no longer on that shelf.
When asked about it he gave me one of those funny grins, and said Julie dropped by recently and collected it.
So status symbols can still subvert even the most hardened hippie.

May have gotten to the bottom of things. Hernia and ligament pulling. Cutting back her work hours a bit. Antibiotics, which have been discontinued as they were unnecessary, made K really sick. Baby is healthy.

Staying one more day in the city. Back to clean(er) air and less congestion tomorrow.

Relief and glad to hear mother and baby are healthy.

and a few months back (for about a month) I was staying in an area (city) at sea level, heavy farming area (a lot of chemical spraying), where there are two very large Ley lines that intersect, a military base and I was around people that are stuck on story. Watch TV all the time, eat something called food, cant understand why they have health issues and there are "strange" events going on continuously -most of their lives.... but don't know exactly what they are or what is causing them.

One of the things that got me through was I knew that it was temporary.

Dunno if I already shared this one, I could not make this stuff up on my best day : )

A couple of weeks or so ago I purchased another used truck. The owner lives at a beautiful spot up the Cape about 20 miles. It is on a small hill next to preservation land and has about the most beautiful backyard I have seen. It has a 360 view of the sky and I felt, once again, it was a special place to the Indians long ago.

I took a test drive with the owner and the conversation went somewhat personal and then spiritual. He is an artist/fisherman that went to Harvard and just could not handle it and left after his first year. The house is he and his wife's little dream house and they have 6 children...3 and 3 from previous marriages.

Much of the talk was about his children and my grandchildren, .sharing happy things. He then went on to say that he and his wife have had and have some very special moments in the backyard, especially on clear nites...he went into a bit of detail...and wow : ) The purchase of the truck became secondary and our spiritual connection primary. I did get a good deal on a nice truck too.

When I went back(my Daughter brought me) the 2nd time to close the purchase I asked if I could leave a tobacco offering for the Spirits and he said , of course. He was right by in a chair getting the paperwork ready and I felt him watching and joining in. I may do some work on one of their "art" buildings and house some time..

Soooo, a couple nites ago I am coming out of the pizza place I go to often. I see this beautiful woman walking around the truck and looking at it in detail(I had touched up some rust spots with paint and it looked a bit different). It was the owner's wife that I had not met. We introduced ourselves and had a great talk and I said that the truck purchase became secondary almost right away and your husband and my spiritual connection primary. She said I know, that's what he told me.: ) She also said she is hardly ever in this area and never came near this restaurant before now. She saw it out of the corner of her eye and came in to get a sandwich for the road. I got her business card from her (a designer) and then we confirmed a get-together for the future with them at their home..

Just back from vacation in Delaware and Cape May and around NJ, then saw my dear long time friend in New Hampshire. It was great. I am starting to work, a new job on Thursday. I cross my fingers.

I've always thought of Frank Zappa as Ludwig Von Beethoven living in the 20th century composing music to be played by a rock n roll band.
