Is this a badly concieved news project ?

You can register for a free account and receive news on just one topic from a selection of 72 news topics.
If you want to recieve news from two topics it costs you $4.99.

Why should we pay to recieve news on the internet ?
We get more news than we need, on any and all subjects, for free.

And i'm already a recipient of the alternative news media.
I regularly visit about 4 indie-news outlets.
They grant me access to their services for free.

I started to sign up.. but then i bailed out.
Why should i sign up for a _fledgling_ service ? ;
there's little prospect it will be around in 12 months... or even 3 months.
Why is there no free trial period in which i can be impressed with the quality of their content ?

Hi VestnikRA,
I think it's appropriate for me to address my questions right here.
What were you doing when you made your post ?
(1) You were offering this service for our consideration ?
(2) You were advertising this service ?

In either case, I'm simply critiquing it.
I'm impartial and i believe my comments are not unreasonable.
If i thought it was a great service i would say so.

It looks like you're promoting a _commerical_ website here.
Why not approach one of the mods about buying advertising space ?
