Somehow the whole concept seems ridiculous to me ... either way
If the supply of gold is limited then how can economies eternally grow (to stay 'healthy') ?
If the supply of gold is unlimited, because we can get plenty from elsewhere, then what is its real value?
The concept of money, even backed by gold, stays weird for me.
There is a dutch saying:
Literally translated:Het gaat niet om de knikkers maar om het spel
But the English version is apparently:It's not about the marbles but about the game
A majority of people seem to think that TPTB are in it for the money (perhaps because they believe in money themselves). It is not a matter of pence, but of principle
But they can print all the money they want anyway ... I recently realized it is all about the game.
As long as the masses believe in money TPTB have something to keep them busy in the game achieving goals
for them with the labor of others ...![]()
