Astrologically, when a planet is found, it's traits begin the process of being integrated, or, in another way, opened for public notice. Out from the shadows.

When a planet is imaged and seen by the human eye, then the deepest parts begin to become part of the conscious psyche/knowing of the group.

Pluto...has begun that final process (July 14, 2015).

    One look at Pluto's meaning:

Quote As the outermost planet in our solar system, Pluto is also the farthest from the Sun. It has only recently been discovered, having come to light (albeit a dim one) in 1930.

Pluto's energy may be subtle, but its results will hit you like a ton of bricks. This planet is about transformation, regeneration and rebirth. Things aren't pretty with Pluto, but they do get done. Pluto says 'out with the old and in with the new,' and we'd better be ready for it. If we're not, this planet will simply have us wallow in our misery. Pluto asks us to transcend that which we know, redeem ourselves in the process, and come out stronger as a result.

For all that Pluto (re)creates (it also governs the reproductive system), it loves to destroy. This planet rules destruction, death, obsession, kidnapping, coercion, viruses and waste. That's definitely not pretty. Pluto also governs crime and the underworld, along with many forms of subversive activity (terrorism, dictatorships). This planet is about all that is secret and undercover, that which is hidden from view. Is this the story of good vs. evil? Yes.

No one will deny Pluto's power (it rules atomic power, too) and intensity. This planet's energy is often focused on the masses and what the collective will do. Pluto beseeches the masses to look inward (and to their subconscious) to see what's there. It may be scary, but Pluto doesn't care. This planet knows how to push buttons.

It takes Pluto approximately 248 years to complete its orbit around the zodiac. Due to the eccentricity of its orbit, it takes this planet between 12 and 31 years to pass through a sign. It rules Scorpio and the Eighth House. Pluto is the last of the transcendental planets and is the higher octave of Mars.

is their any big foot sighting in those parts?
I can't say I've heard of any. I don't think there is enough deep forest. It would be easy to see them on the ridges.

    Hi ya'll.

    I've some interesting news.

My daughter is getting married! To a great guy from a great family from Brazil.

Today, she asked me a startling question. She asked if I would marry them! Isn't that something? I am the priest archetype so I can do it. Although I am not certified or whatever they call it. I asked how her fiancé felt about that and she told me he was enthusiastic about it. But I can only marry them spiritually, not legally. Since she has no religion and she is her father's daughter (and her mother's for that matter) she feels I have all the authority she needs. Afterwards they will go to city hall for the legal side.

Even better, it will only be the principles involved and their parents plus only a few others. No nasty family to spoil things. And - it will be at the top of a mountain! Ain't she something? I love that girl and I am so proud of her. She is amazing.

I was wondering what some of you might think of this. Would love some feedback or suggestions - for or against makes no never mind.

Astrologically speaking (and speaking as always as a dunce as to the technical details of the subject ), there are some particularly interesting features about these slow-moving outer planets. One is that whole generations are astrologically on the same page. This would be the basis for the theory of “waves” of souls such as indigo children coming to the planet. For example (consulting Robert Hand 1976), only those born after 1965 will experience Pluto conjunct Uranus. Another is novelty: new elements added to the usual mix, and others no longer relevant (e.g. Neptune Conjunct Pluto has not happened since the 1890s). With longer life expectancy and Pluto’s variable speed on its irregular orbit, for the first time Pluto Trine Natal Neptune has been happening to people in significant numbers (in their seventies). Or Neptune Sextile Pluto is a transit that itself has a longer life expectancy than usual: I gather that at some point just about everyone alive will have it in their birth chart; so this would be a way of transcending generation gaps and putting the whole planet on the same page. http://accessnewage.com/articles/astro/NEPPLUSX.HTM

These are areas where society is becoming conscious of itself as a whole, and that is a major breakthrough because it means that the basic goodness of the vast majority can be brought to bear with the utmost force and effectiveness. This is the time to cut the one-percenters down to size.

I don't know what is going on with me. I will be overcome with grief, as deep as I've ever felt. A half hour later, I am laughing in joy.

RunningDeer, what does it mean to see a pair of Royal Cedar Waxwings?

The crickets are singing, 2:30 am on the deck, watching the Big Dipper, cool and gentle breeze rolling down the hill.

    Love, Sierra

The other side of that, is the violence and the animalism of the controlling structures, the dark hidden oligarchies, heads for the front page of their consciousness...and ours. All their hidden tactics go full bore open, up from the depths.

RunningDeer, what does it mean to see a pair of Royal Cedar Waxwings?

Sierra, Sounds like you've been visiting some inter-dimensional Irish wake.
Whatever causes this, however, you might need some Village herbal tea.

Araucaria, I don't know your birthday, and won't ask you to display it here,
but if you like I can offer to have a quick look at your chart, even if only to check the distance between your natal Neptune and Pluto.
Mine is 60 degrees, and here is what Bob Markansky's article said about that:

    1. EMPHASIS (Doing). All aspects within one degree of exactitude reveal their meaning in its purest, knee-jerk-responsive form - "as near impersonal as it is possible for them to be and yet be individual experiences." Thus natives with Neptune sextile Pluto within one degree of exactness are the most compulsively pragmatic and individualistic - not in the sense of being rebellious or flaunting their independence of spirit, but rather they are self-contained lone wolves. They are idealists off on their own tangents, hence they are not especially successful in mundane affairs unless the rest of the chart is dynamic. They have considerable self-discipline, are self motivated and self-starting, and are conscientious and dedicated. On the negative side they lack perspective: they are too focused on the path beneath their feet and easily become mired in their thinking. Their individualism manifests as a naive doggedness and scrupulosity which inspires others with its unassuming honesty and integrity. Examples: Dan Aykroyd, Mikhail Baryishnikov, John Belushi, Alice Cooper, Farrah Fawcett, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Magic Johnson, Jay Leno, Madonna, Maria Shriver, Stevie Wonder.

62°, which seems to be 3, borderline 2:
Quote 2. CHANGE (Thinking). All aspects between one and two degrees of exactness indicate flexibility, the ability to adapt oneself to changing conditions - "universals are only to be perceived in terms of constant flux." This means that natives with Neptune sextile Pluto greater than one but less than two degrees from exactitude are the most experimentally pragmatic and individualistic: eager to learn new things and to examine situations and other people's ideas and motivations from different points of view. Like the one's, the two's are hardworking and competent (all Neptune sextile Pluto natives are - Dr. Jones' keyword for the sextile is PRODUCTION), but the reach here is more towards understanding than psychological independence. They are thoughtful, introspective, and arrive at solutions to problems by thinking them through rather than bulldozing ahead. On the negative side, lacking the single-mindedness of the one's, they can come across as being indecisive, bland, and wishy-washy: too lacking in firmness to be masterful (unless the rest of the chart cooperates). Their individualism manifests as a naive intellectual curiosity which inspires others with its unpretentious open-mindedness. Examples: David Bowie, Albert Gore, Kevin Costner, Whitney Houston, Tonya Harding, Nancy Kerrigan, Elton John, Dan Quayle, Steven Spielberg, Howard Stern, Robin Williams, Oprah Winfrey.

    3. GROWTH (Relating). All aspects between two and three degrees of exactitude symbolize friendliness - "the expanding element of simple co-operation in being. It is the basis of pure social relationship, the emanation of … self to the point of fellowship with other selves." Accordingly, natives with Neptune sextile Pluto between two and three degrees of exactitude are the most socially pragmatic and individualistic: outgoing, gregarious, eager to please; yet still original - fun-loving and mischievous, with a true sense of irony. They are cheerfully optimistic, and enjoy other people instead of analyzing them (two's) or ignoring them (one's). They live and let live, and try to turn aside from conflict and unpleasantness. On the negative side they are inclined to sidestep or slough off problems, to let things slide until they build to a crisis (rather than tackling them directly or thinking them through). Their individualism manifests in a detached, light, unconcerned manner which inspires others with its graciousness and buoyant hopefulness. Examples: Princess Anne, Prince Charles, Princess Diana, Prince, Tom Cruise, Mia Farrow, Arsenio Hall, Diane Keaton, Liza Minelli, Bill Murray, John Travolta, Jann Wenner.

Thought to note this new thread here, in case anyone feels inspired to contribute:
The gaia letters- what is your vision for a more beautiful world?
    https://projectavalon.net/forum4/show...eautiful-world

    Hoping to contribute later.

I found an interview with Carlita Shaw (who made the thread) on Ravenstar's Witching Hour :
    Hour One : https://youtu.be/OkY9FePgVlU
    Hour Two : https://youtu.be/B88GAJ0rv5o

As an ecologist, and author of The Silent Ecocide: The Environmental Crisis is a Crisis of Human Consciousness, she covers a variety of topics over the 2 hours, including...

Our environmental challenges and conflicting climate science - The oppression of indigenous people who retain knowledge of medicinal plants, and also those fighting to protect their land - The wisdom of the shamanic way, connecting with earth and the cosmos – Transhumanism, HAARP, chemtrails - The importance of ocean life in providing vast amounts of the earth's oxygen - The difficulty getting published in the mainstream when you choose to talk about free energy technologies - How the elite won't be able to continue repressing pioneering technologies with the growing consciousness shift - The sovereign power we all have to make a difference.

    A couple of snippets :

"...There's a lot of new age, toxic information out there about, you know : 'Try and stay positive all the time and your positivity will change the reality outside of you.' But that's just not the case. Because if it was we would have gotten rid of the problem by now. Right? It's a lot more complicated than that. It's a combination of being self-aware, and quietening the inside, but also taking your preferred method of external action to pioneer a new way, a new blueprint of a more harmonious earth. A more sustainable planet that many of us envision. That vision is within us for a reason, and it's partly the earth speaking through us..."

"...Unconditional love is so much stronger than their idea of transhuman evolution, thinking that's a superior way to connect with God source. Well no, the way to connect with God source, you can do it quite easily sitting in a forest and just breathing nature in around you, and realising that you're already connected..."

Me thinks this is the same Carlita, going by the biog here : http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/c...-montross.html

    Also a talented artist...

Mornin', Sierra. I experienced quirky up and downs last evening. I struggled to not lay blame on the outside world. It still lingers. And for the last week, a deeper clarity hits my radar screen out of nowhere. There's refined integration of knowledge, thoughts and gut knowing.

As for the Waxwing, Ted Andrews, of “Animal Speak,” says it’s a member of the cardinal family so I’ll add. See what jumps out for you.

    Waxwing
    KEYNOTE: Gentleness and Courtesy

    CYCLE OF POWER: Spring-Summer

With respect to their mask-like appearance - Masks are tools for transformation, but most people fear change and transition. They believe it to be traumatic. The waxwing can show how change and transformation can occur as gently and easily as you desire. The waxwing shows how to use masks, head gear, and paint to create a doorway in the mind, a threshold that you can cross to new dimensions.

The waxwing is a gentle and polite bird. They are often known to pass food to each other. If waxwing has come into your life, look at the gentleness you are experiencing or missing within your life. Are others extending gentleness to you the courtesy you deserve? Are you extending to them the courtesy they deserve? Do you need to start seeing yourself and others from a new perspective? Are you possibly not being gentle enough to yourself? The waxwing will show you how to awaken gentleness as a true virtue within your life.

    Cardinal
KEYNOTE: Renewed vitality through recognizing self-importance
CYCLE OF POWER: Year-round (often with a rhythm of 12 - hours, days, months, years)
    • The cardinal’s presence reflects a time to renew our vitality. It reflects lessons in developing and accepting a new sense of our own true self-importance.
    • Regardless of the time of day or year, we always have opportunity to renew our own vitality and recognize the importance of our own life roles.
    • In the case of the cardinal, the female joins in on the whistling, which is unusual among birds. This reflects that we should be listening to the inner voice (the feminine) more closely for our own health and well-being. Since most female birds usually are quiet and camouflaged, a cardinal totem almost always reflects a need to assert the feminine aspects of creativity and intuition more strongly.
Steven D. Farmer. “Animal Spirit Guides.”
    • Someone needs your compassionate and loving attention.
    • This is a very creative time, one where it’s best to heed your intuitive guidance as to how to express this creativity.
    • You much prefer a stable living situation, so you tend to stay in the same place for long periods of time.
    • You have access to a powerful feminine creative energy, and are able to listen closely to your intuitive guidance.
