I presumed that this was Trump's intention, quite consciously and by his deliberate use of the term "national security".

I'm going to correct "Q."

In the post above, he says impeachment requires a 2/3 vote of the Senate. Not so. The House of Rep. impeaches, or not, the POTUS. If the House impeaches, the Senate holds hearings and votes for conviction, or not, on the impeachment articles as determined by the House. It takes a 2/3 vote of the Senate, or a super majority, to convict the POTUS.

True, and I agree.

However the word "impeach" has a second, informal meaning in federal U.S. law, more along the lines of "indict in the House (impeach), convict in the Senate, and remove from office" ... which I trust is the meaning that Q had in mind and expected his readers to understand as such.

Q was speaking more along the lines of, and using the vocabulary of, a twitter poster, not a lawyer writing a legal document or text.

As it says in someone's response at What is the difference between indictment and impeachment? (Quora.com):

In common usage, people sometimes say “impeachment” to mean removal from office, when in fact it’s only the first step of the process. Not all impeachments results in conviction and removal. For instance, Clinton was impeached but then acquitted.

Agreed Paul. And the lawyer in me raises its head sometimes when it should not. But this is serious business. And if Q is going to call upon us to understand and call upon the Constitution, I deem it fair to call upon Q to understand the Consitution and get it right.

Theoretically the border under discussion and consideration is an external border of the USA, not and internal border within the USA defining the boundaries of each State.

So far I have only noticed Trump worry much about the "southern border", between the nations of the United States and Mexico.

I am not aware of any active dispute regarding state borders. Well, there was a small one, a few years ago, over the meandering Red River that forms part of the border between Oklahoma and Texas that might still be an issue ... but I've not noticed anything regarding that in recent years.

So ... have you noticed more substantive and recent disputes regarding state borders, or was you response worded more out of an abundance of caution (which, when it comes to the "integrity" of our "leaders", is an abundance well founded.)

Good find BMJ: He says loud and clear: "When John McCain was put to death" now I'm guessing he meant to say put to rest, BUT he did say death.

I read at the time MSM commentary on this saying that Kasich obviously had made a slip of the tongue and meant to say "put to rest".

Here's a sensible problem with that analysis...
John McCain was "laid to rest" on 2 September. This interview with Kasich was on Wednesday 5th September, 3 days later i.e. more than 24 hours later. Kasich clearly says "less than 24 hours since...put to death".

I would not read too much into this. He contracted two thoughts or phrases into one. His mouth was not working as fast as his brain which was processing "... since John McCain's death...", or "..since John McCain was put to rest..." and it came out "...since John McCain was put to death..." I feel confident that we've all done this from time-to-time on some topic. I know have have. It typically happens with a multiple syllable word, but it can happen with a phrase too.

Q's take on the Google fire in China suggests that Google's search engine technology, adapted to Chinese characteristics, may well open in a China in a few months ... under a different brand name, and that the fire was used to close down the Google branded Chinese search product.

The financial statements (see following image) in the last Q drop quoted just above show major Google CEO Sundar Pichai making approximately 26 sales of Alphabet (parent company of Google) stock for a total value of approximately $US 18 Million, in the last week of November 2018 and the first week of December 2018. Sundar Pichai still holds about $US 80 Million worth of Alphabet stock, so there's no need for us to start a GoFundMe collection for him.

The following has not been covered, either on this Qanon thread, nor on the George HW Bush has died: December 1st, 2018 thread, and it continues to intrigue me.

The wives of the following each received a small envelope in their program brochure, while they were attending the state funeral of former US President George H.W. Bush on December 5, 2018 at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.:

• George"W" Bush, President 2001-2009 (and son of George H.W. Bush)
• Mike Pence, Vice President under Trump 2017-present
• Bill Clinton, President 1993-2001
• Joe Biden, Vice President under Obama 2009-2017

There was a seriously shocked look on the faces of Joe Biden, his wife Jill Biden, Laura Bush (the wife of "W"), and Jeb Bush (brother of "W", to whom Laura showed the letter), when they saw it. Hillary, wife of Bill Clinton, kept her poker face when she saw the letter.

Jimmy Carter (President from 1977 to 1981) and his wife Rosalynn Carter looked (when they noticed Hillary seeing the letter) but did not receive any such letter themselves.

None of Barack H. Obama (President from 2009 to 2017), his wife Michelle, Dick Cheney (Vice President under "W"), or his wife Lynne looked at their program so far as noticed, so I have no idea if they received such a letter.

The other former, still living, Vice Presidents Al Gore (under Bill Clinton) and Dan Quayle (under George HW Bush) were not present at the funeral, so far as I noticed. (Correction: According to the graphic at 8:35 of this video, Dan and his wife were seated behind Barrack and Michelle Obama.)

My guesses so far:

• Hillary Clinton was a body double, which explains her lack of visceral reaction.
• What was on the card in the envelope was an image, but more of a symbolic one than an obvious image anyone would recognize.
• I think that it was an image, not words, because of how quickly each of the people seeing it reacted.
• But it was more symbolic than obviously gruesome or compromising, because no one nearby, who might have caught a glimpse, reacted.
• It was more a symbol of George H.W. Bush's betrayal than something directly involving Trump, as both the Biden's and the Bush's looked toward where the casket of George H.W. Bush was, at the time they reacted. (P.S. -- Correction below.)
• George W. Bush ("baby" Bush) was handed the image, by the Secret Service agent right behind him, while the casket was being taken past him, and he then passed it onto his wife Laura (behind the casket, from the camera view, barely visible).
• George W. Bush already knew what the item meant, but was more resigned, less surprised, but still dismayed, at whatever it was.
• There was no reaction from Karen Pence, wife of current Vice President Mike Pence, because she did not notice the envelope stuck in her program.

I didn't give the stock sales much credence since for a CEO they are pre-planned with SEC. You sell over the weeks so not to create a panic.
