I'm really not surprised events are moving to the next stage now in Israel as it is a full moon partial lunar eclipse this evening in Israel. I did mean to say to look out for it.

I never felt the solar eclipse earlier this month would be particularly significant for Israel as it was in the USA not Israel

Wow...so much talk, the volume of media analysis has spiked to record heights here, alternative media has genuinely gained significant traction and for the first time in over 40 years we have true multiple discourse and challenges to mainstream, corporate news sausage factories. What I might say, or not is going to have precisely ZERO impact, I am not here to persuade you, or argue with you: I generally respond to what I see/hear and attempt to share with selected people how I see it; build a perspective which I keep open and available for editing/changing.
As Scott Ritter so eloquently suggests: Israel has lost the PR battle here, if they pursue killing civilians in the way they are doing presently, and seem to be planning to do more of, they will not only lose this battle, it could lead to Armageddon for the whole world, and this appears to be what the deranged Obama - led administration wants! Israel could be the 'good guys' here and totally remove Hamas's advantage, allow humanitarian aid, call for negotiations, instead they are flexing, trying to be tough and seek revenge.
Scott has called it, Douglas Macgregor has called it, these two along with The Duran team, Russell Brand(!), Trigonometry team, RT, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones & team and a few others are all we have as voices of sanity. God bless us all, I wish peace and prosperity to all.

I believe that this Israeli makes it pretty clear that it never was a "state". It originally was a creation of the ancient Romans when they owned Israel and wanted to demote the Jews by creating a false entity they named "Palestine". The Arab countries around Israel all hate the "Palestinians" as they always cause trouble when exported to their countries:

It's worth discussing, and here are several points to consider.

In this post of mine 11 days ago, I shared images of a coin from 1927 and a stamp from 1947, the latter just before Israel very violently seized most of what the Palestinians had regarded as their own land. Here are the images again:

"The history of Israel" might warrant its own thread, of course, but it really is relevant here. Nothing in the Middle East will ever be resolved until the Palestinian injustice is addressed.

To risk a brief summary in one paragraph, most political observers, and politicians themselves, from a wide spectrum of countries and backgrounds, strongly advocate that Palestine should be a formally recognized sovereign nation-state in its own right.

There are strong arguments that this would eliminate all the tension and deep-seated hatred and resentment that is passed down from generation to generation on both sides of the divide. The issue is that though this was voted on and recommended decades ago in a 1974 United Nations resolution, Israel, thus far also supported by the US, has refused to implement it.

So whether Palestine "ever was a state" might be seen as a somewhat abstruse historical debating point, and there are some nuances in there which proponents of every position can draw on to make their case — whatever it might be.

The most important issue now seems to be that Palestine should be a state. In every informed political discussion about this crisis, we'll hear the 'two-state-solution' being referenced. And whatever differing factions may have been present before, right now the Arab/Muslim world appears to be fully united about this.

Dennis: Why are you taking this so personally? I am trying to stay somewhat aloof from the maddening rush to accuse, even though I have more of a stake in Israel than hardly anyone else on the Avalon site, besides Israelis of course. You can ask me about this privately some time. I just find all opinions on the subject of the Middle East conflict interesting, and wish to hear more from all sides.
I am curious as to why that particular Arab Muslim has those particular opinions, when he doesn't fit the mold of what we would expect. I guess we will never know, but somehow he feels to me to be elitist in the Arab world, if his pristine outfit indicates to others, as it does to me.

Lebanese parliament speaker announces support for Hezbollah operations

The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, affirmed in a letter responding to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf that he supports any action taken by Hezbollah if the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip continues.

Ghalibaf earlier sent a message to the Speaker to brief him on the diplomatic steps taken by Iran regarding the developments in occupied Palestine. The message was relayed to Berri through Ibrahim Azizi, the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament.


The top Lebanese official praised the Islamic Republic for adopting the "best stances" in the current situation regarding Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, noting that Tehran had always taken "the best positions regarding the Palestinian cause."

On his part, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani pointed out in a post on X that the Israeli occupation entity has escalated its crimes in Gaza and the killings of Palestinians, despite the worldwide protests and UNGA resolution.

He added that the Zionists' strikes on Gaza "amount to non-stop attacks on the conscience of the human community, moral and human principles, global peace and security, human rights and binding international laws and regulations."

"If it weren’t for the support offered by the US and some Western governments, would the Zionists dare commit so many crimes and genocide against Palestinians?"
