    THE BALFOUR DECLARATION

amazing how a few people got together and decided all this.

It perhaps is more remarkable that a few people in the 1580s decided the Bible is a pro-Zionist tract.

The intervening centuries were a swelling grassroots movement.

On a popular level, it was already "decided", whereas the state level is in the context of breaking up the Ottoman Empire.

    The Powers say:

"As we gave Moldavia to the Moldavians, why should we not give Palestine to the Jews?"

That is a non-sequitur, as the inhabitants of the Balkans were already living there. So I don't follow the logic. Whole thing is peculiarly false.

While I blame Britain for historically nursing the thing, in later days it may be the United States really ramped it up in the guise of "Evangelism" since the ca. 1967 Billy Graham et al.

Throw in publicity, television, charisma, and all that, and Zionism gains droves of devotees, some, perhaps rather unintentionally, but I think it significantly added to the momentum.

What I personally find much worse, is, the subsequent use of the country of Germany to launch, finance, and mind control the proceedings.

    War Debt?

Originally it was given two reparation plans in the 1920s and 30s and neither one worked. This is a place where people have taken to burning cash because they haven't got any firewood. By means of an industrial project, it was boosted to where it could afford to make some payments, and so there is another war and then we find Israel coming out as a beneficiary.

Then a framed narrative combined with censorship.

I would suggest the actual intent was the EU, and Zionism had an opportunistic moment.

Now we are looking around going what are the rules, or who do they apply to.

Today's incident has a name attached:

Quote Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted the Norwegian ship “Sternda” with a direct missile strike. The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed this operation and emphasized that the ship was targeted after its crew ignored all warning calls.

Over the past few days, the Yemeni armed forces have managed to prevent several ships from passing through, responding to their earlier warnings. They have vowed to continue targeting any vessel that violates the statements made in previous warnings.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also stated that they will block all ships heading to Israeli ports from navigating the Arabian Sea and the Red Sea until the blockade on Gaza is lifted and essential food and medicine are delivered to its people.

The Israeli media has expressed concerns regarding the impact of these threats on both security and the economy. Israel’s Channel 12’s Foreign Affairs Editor, Yaron Schneider, warned that the Yemenis are not afraid to carry out their threats, posing a significant risk to the port of Eilat and shipping companies.

In response to these developments, the US Central Command confirmed that a missile fired from Yemen struck a Norwegian-flagged tanker near the Yemeni coast. The ship, named “Sternda,” was transporting chemicals to the port of Ashdod, ‘Israel’, scheduled to arrive on January 4th.

The leader of Ansar Allah, Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and additional resistance in a speech. He pledged full military support and efforts from Yemen’s Rocket Force, highlighting their operations in occupied southern Palestine.

Must watch! Scott Ritter does NOT mince his words. To paraphrase some of the points: the only reason this genocide of Gazans is allowed to happen is because US congress is bought and paid for by Isreal. US politicians could stop this right now by stopping all military supplies to Isreal, but instead they choose to lie and turn a blind eye to the Isreal's atrocities. By taking this position the US has become ever more so isolated on the world scene.

"In the intricate web of global geopolitics, the relationships between nations often shape the course of international affairs. Among these complex alliances, the connection between the United States and Israel has been a focal point of scrutiny and analysis. In recent times, a growing discourse has emerged, pointing to a perceived isolation of the United States resulting from its association with Israel. This discussion delves into the multifaceted dynamics at play, exploring the ways in which Israel's actions, policies, and geopolitical strategies may contribute to the perceived isolation of the United States on the world stage."

Moscow outlines conditions for Middle East peace 13 Dec, 2023

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reiterated support for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict, arguing that US plans will inevitably fail

Russia supports Israel’s right to security but believes that sustainable peace in the Middle East can only be achieved after the creation of a Palestinian state, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

Speaking on Wednesday at the Federation Council, the upper chamber of the Russian parliament, Lavrov stressed that Moscow is doing everything it can to stop the hostilities that have been raging between Israel and Palestinian armed movement Hamas since early October.

However, Lavrov noted that Russia “will not agree to Middle East settlement deals that violate Israel’s security and do not involve the creation of Palestine.”

The crisis in the region can only be resolved if a “united and independent” Palestine is created in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions, he added. This means Palestine must have borders similar to those of 1967 and co-exist with Israel “in peace, security, and good neighborliness,” Lavrov stated.

The diplomat admitted, however, that this prospect “is still very far away,” arguing that Israel and the West are opposed to a reasonable solution. According to Lavrov, the US is currently mulling a “scheme” to resolve the Palestinian issue by “creating some kind of protectorate.” This would either be “under the leadership of Arab countries that do not need that,” or under the auspices of the UN – which Lavrov said is reluctant to act while the situation on the ground remains unclear and Israel insists on destroying Hamas.

It is evident that Washington – alone or together with its allies – cannot “secretly throw together a sustainable and viable concept of the State of Palestine,” Lavrov added. “Even if they come up with something, it won’t last long, and it won’t bring peace and prosperity either to the Palestinians or Israel.”

🇮🇱🇨🇾🇬🇧At least 500 UK troops were sent to Cyprus in secret, a report from British media has revealed.

The UK government had previously announced that 1,000 troops were being deployed to support Israel in the wake of the October 7 attack by Hamas, but their locations remained unknown.

A letter by British Foreign Minister James Heappey to a member of parliament revealed that 500 of those troops were sent to UK bases in Cyprus, about 230 miles from the Gaza Strip. The letter also stated that troops have been sent to Egypt, Israel and Lebanon, but troop numbers were not provided.

Cyprus has served as a staging area for UK bombing campaigns in the Middle East. Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides denied that his country was being used to provide military aid to Israel.

“There is no such information,” Christodoulides said, “our country cannot be used as a base for war operations.”

Israeli army fires on 6 Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances escorted by UN vehicles

The Israeli army opened fire on six ambulances of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, escorted by UN vehicles, carrying 11 patients with critical injuries, including amputations and head wounds, in Gaza, the Red Crescent said on Sunday, adding that one of the injured died before receiving any treatment, Anadolu Agency reports.

“The Palestine Red Crescent Society coordinated with the United Nations to evacuate 11 casualties in critical condition last night from Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City to the hospital in the south of the Strip,” the Red Crescent said in a statement on X.

A convoy of six Red Crescent ambulances, accompanied by UN vehicles, set off from Khan Younis after waiting about four hours for the first green light to move towards the military checkpoint that separates the north from south in the Gaza Strip, it added.

“The convoy then waited a full hour to get a second green light to cross the checkpoint,” the Red Crescent explained, noting that “It was then subjected to a thorough inspection that lasted for about two hours, during which two paramedics were detained and released as soon as the convoy was allowed to pass.”

As soon as the convoy left the checkpoint and arrived near the Kuwait Roundabout, the statement said, “The occupation soldiers opened fire on one of the ambulances.”

One of the side windows was hit, and the bullet damaged the ambulance, the Red Crescent said.

“After the convoy returned from the Baptist Hospital and upon reaching the checkpoint on the way back, the convoy’s path was deliberately obstructed and paramedic Rami Al-Qatawi was detained again,” it said.

The Red Crescent said the Israeli military repeated its thorough inspection procedures, obstructing the convoy’s passage, and “interrogation at the checkpoint for more than two hours led to the martyrdom of one of the wounded.”

“After a detention that lasted for more than four hours during which he was subjected to beatings, abuse, and blackmail while being interrogated, paramedic Rami Al-Qatawi was released,” according to the statement.

He arrived at the other side of the checkpoint in a deplorable state after being forced to walk more than 2 kilometers (1.25 miles) on a rough road in cold weather while “naked and handcuffed,” the Red Crescent said.

Israel resumed its military offensive on the Gaza Strip on Dec. 1 after the end of a week-long humanitarian pause with Hamas.

At least 17,700 Palestinians have been killed and more than 48,780 others injured in relentless air and ground attacks on the enclave since Oct. 7 following the cross-border attack by Hamas.

The Israeli death toll in the Hamas attack stood at 1,200, according to official figures.

Ethnic cleansing is the central goal of Israel's aggression

After Israel resumed its all-out assault on Gaza, the bombardment by its warplanes, artillery and tanks has engulfed the entirety of the Strip, from Rafah in the south to the uppermost northern border.

The Israeli army are desperately seeking to make up for their failure after 50 days of war, with this new attempt to crush the resistance in northern Gaza and Gaza City to secure control. So far it has failed to achieve this, despite the savagery of its attacks.

It is also, more importantly, attempting to displace the steadfast inhabitants of these areas - who have remained - to southern Gaza by terrorising them through relentless bombing.

''The heroic resilience of the people of Gaza under the barbaric onslaught the world has borne witness to will go down in history; but every decent human being today needs to mobilise all their energy to force Israel to stop its savage aggression and prevent the ethnic cleansing that Netanyahu is planning to carry out.''

Israel has not hidden its intentions - its planes dropped flyers over the residents of Al-Qarara, Khuza'a and Abasan, three towns in Khan Younis province, warning them that it was now a "dangerous area" and instructing them to leave and go south to Rafah on the Egyptian border.

The goal is evidently the displacement of all residents from north to south, and from there, further displacement southwards to Rafah and the Egyptian border. The Israelis clearly hope the ensuing exacerbation in human suffering as millions are crammed into an ever-smaller area, will bring about the kind of pressure needed to break the valiant Palestinian steadfastness, and force Egypt to budge from its staunch refusal to allow the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip to be pushed into its Sinai desert.

Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, an outlet which has good relations with Netanyahu, uncovered his real intentions when discussing this displacement plan. It wrote that Netanyahu wanted to "thin" the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip "to a minimum", by expelling as many Palestinians as possible from it.

The piece presented further expulsion scenarios via the Rafah crossing, such as ejecting the population using ships, which is what happened to Palestinians from Yaffa and Haifa during the Nakba in 1948. However, it then reverted to describing Netanyahu's plan as "political fantasy", due to its failure to reckon with the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their insistence on remaining in their homeland even if the price is death and martyrdom.

Added to this is Egypt's political line, as well as widespread international opposition, including from many figures within the US administration. The newspaper also wrote that even members of the Israeli war cabinet, like Gantz, Gallant and Eisenkot, consider Netanyahu’s plans to be unrealistic and far-fetched, even if they wish they could be realised.

Some Western media channels which have shown a disgraceful and shameful level of bias towards Israel, have denied that its goal is ethnic cleansing, even though this has already effectively been carried out given 80% of Gaza's population was forced to leave their homes, and hundreds of thousands, under ferocious bombardment, were forced to move south. Not only this, but those who attempted to return to Gaza City and the north during the temporary ceasefire, were shot at.

These media channels ignore what Netanyahu himself openly declared in the first days of the aggression - that all inhabitants of the Gaza Strip must leave their homes. Moreover, they ignore that Israeli military spokesman Richard Hecht said even more clearly words to the effect that the entire population of the Gaza Strip needed to leave their homes and head to Egypt – a statement which made the headline of Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.

But the Palestinians will not leave, because they experienced forcible displacement in 1948, and know deeply the bitterness and humiliation suffered by those forced to become refugees. They are also fully aware that if they depart from Palestine - their homeland - and leave the Gaza Strip, they will never be allowed to return.

The heroic resilience of the people of Gaza under the barbaric onslaught the world has borne witness to will go down in history; but every decent human being today needs to mobilise all their energy to force Israel to stop its savage aggression and prevent the ethnic cleansing that Netanyahu is planning to carry out.

The death toll of the first day that Israel renewed its bombardment on Gaza was 200 - and around 600 were injured. Israel also blocked the entry of all aid into Gaza via the Rafah crossing, which constitutes the collective punishment of 2.3 million people. All of this is taking place in addition to the unbearable pressure on hospitals and health facilities deprived of medicines and medical equipment.

Therefore, we reiterate our demand to the governments of the 57 Arab and Islamic states that met in Riyadh – that they form a humanitarian aid convoy which collectively represents them, as well as call on international humanitarian organisations to take part - to break the blockade being illegally imposed on the Rafah crossing by Israel.

If this happens, will Israel really dare bomb a convoy containing representatives from 57 states, the populations of which number over two billion people - a quarter of the world's population?

Alongside this, with the renewal of Israel's onslaught, we renew our legitimate demand from all states which have normalised relations with Israel, to cancel their agreements, cut ties, and expel its ambassadors.

Likewise we demand that all Arabic and Islamic states send a clear message to the US, Britain and every state that supports the continuation of Israel's assault and refuses to support a complete and permanent ceasefire. This message should state clearly that their interests in the Arab and Islamic states will incur damage if they persist in their stance.

Israel and its occupation will not break the will of the Palestinian people, nor their steadfastness. Nor will it succeed in achieving its goal of displacement and ethnic cleansing. However, the price of this resilience is being paid for in blood – that of Palestinians and their children.

So the question is this – how many more thousands of children must die before the consciences of those who have ignored and failed in their humanitarian, national and religious duty finally wake up?

Worth listing clearly, the countries voting against the ceasefire resolution (which is non-binding, but a very clear opinion poll on global political positions) were:
    • United States
    • Israel
    • Austria
    • Czech Republic
    • Guatemala
    • Liberia
    • Micronesia
    • Nauru
    • Papua New Guinea
