Today we've received confirmation of partisan activity within both historically Russian cities. In Odessa partisans destroyed an energy facility used to supply the Ukrainian military. ▪️The Russian armed forces have launched a group strike with long-range precision missiles and drones against Ukrainian enterprises of the military-industrial complex, military airfields and temporary deployment sites of foreign mercenaries, the Defence Ministry has announced;

▪️According to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Russian forces hit an ammunition depot in Kharkov and also struck near the Nikopol railway station in the Dnepropetrovsk region; there are dead and wounded among the Ukrainian military. In addition there was a hit at the Starokonstantinov military airfield in the Khmelnytsky region, where F-16s are being prepared;

▪️The Russian manufacturer of ultra-long-range sniper rifles, Lobaev Arms, is developing a turret to protect armoured vehicles from Ukrainian FPV drones, the head of the company said;

▪️In the Gulyaypole direction of the special operation, the Russian Hyacinth SAU defeated the American M777 in a howitzer duel, the gunner of the 305th Ussuriysk artillery brigade said;

▪️The AFU, retreating from Avdeyevka, mined and destroyed residential buildings - even if civilians lived there, it will take several months to demine the entire territory of the city, said Gagin, adviser to the head of the DPR. He also said that the Ukrainian army was suffering from a lack of manpower;

▪️Air defences on duty this morning destroyed 10 RM-70 Vampire MLRS missiles over the Belgorod region, the Defence Ministry said;

▪️AFU commander-in-chief Syrsky admitted that the situation on the eastern front is particularly difficult for the Ukrainian army because of the offensive actions of Russian forces;

▪️The units of the Dnepr Group of the Russian Armed Forces hit 5 enemy boats at night at the landing places of the landing force, and during the attempts to approach the left bank of the Dnepr, the losses of the AFU made up to 30 servicemen;

▪️According to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian troops lost more than 900 servicemen in all directions in the special military operation zone during the day. Russian units destroyed eight armoured vehicles and 18 pieces of enemy field artillery.

Ukraine - Faking News Still does not Help Winning

I find it amusing how little western media have learned from their own reporting on the war in Ukraine.

Two years ago a mystic 'Ghost of Kiev' was allegedly shooting down Russian aircraft left and right. The ghost turned out to be a fake character. The Ukrainian air force had never had such successes.

Two years on it is still the same story. The Ukrainian government claims something and western media print it as if it had really happened.

When the claim is debunked, often sooner than later, its simply vanishes from the headlines.

Yesterday we had this media wave:

During the night, the AFU launched drones into Russian territory. 🔻The primary target was the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region, where Ukrainian forces dispatched 44 drones. The exact type remains unknown and will be determined upon analyzing the debris. However, there is a high likelihood that these are the same UAVs that the enemy has been utilizing in recent weeks.
Out of these, 26 drones were intercepted by Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems, and 18 by rifle squads. Based on the videos circulating online, it is evident that the drones were flying at an extremely low altitude, enhancing the level of stealth.
There was no significant damage to the infrastructure. The debris hit a few buildings. Additionally, the substation suffered damage, resulting in a temporary power outage.

❗️ Thanks to the swift response of the air defense crews, any severe repercussions from the attacks were averted - claims from Ukrainian sources about the alleged destruction of six aircraft are fakes coming from enemy propagandists.

The Russia claim of no significant damage has been confirmed by the anti-Russian Institute for the Study of War:

ISW has yet to find any visual evidence that Ukrainian forces have damaged or destroyed aircraft or infrastructure at any of the four Russian airbases targeted by drones on the night of 4-5 April.

Such news cycles of fake claims of alleged Ukrainian successes are a major reason why some in the western public still believe that the Ukraine can win the war.

That is however not the case. The situation requires a change of attitude:

Instead of a new approach, the old pattern continues: NATO mulls over how to help Ukraine without provoking open war with Russia and fails, in the end, to deliver the kind of decisive assistance needed to turn the course of the war.
Another established pattern is the repetition of moralistic binary language. The West “cannot let Russia win.” The “rules-based order” could unravel. Then there is the new domino theory: if Ukraine falls, Russian hordes will flood further west. The personalization of the conflict onto one evil man, Vladimir Putin, continues with the death of Alexei Navalny. It is a Manichean struggle of good and evil, democracy and authoritarianism, civilization and darkness. There can be “no peace until the tyrant falls.” The Western alliance must not waver in its commitment to Ukraine.

The lack of realism in Western discourse is clear. There is indeed a serious risk that, rather than the West teaching Russia a lesson and putting Putin in his place, the opposite may occur. Is Russia, in fact, educating the West on what it means to use hard power and wage interstate conflict in twenty-first-century conditions? Russia advertises its version of great power sovereignty, in which a united, resilient, and unwavering state can defeat the pooled sovereignty of the EU and NATO.
We have all heard the objection that Putin simply cannot be trusted and that he wants nothing less than the complete elimination of Ukraine as an independent state. Yet, does not the blind continuation of the West’s dysfunctional Plan A also threaten the total physical destruction of Ukraine? It is for this reason that Pope Francis has called on Western leaders not to be “ashamed to negotiate before things get worse.”
A new approach to the war in Ukraine will not emerge from rhetorical and moralistic proclamations. Words alone will not prevent a Russian victory. What is needed is a clear accounting of what can be realistically achieved with the means available, as well as the cost, risks, and benefits of different scenarios. Trying what has failed before and expecting new results is, after all, not a recipe for success.

I see no appetite in any western nation to really intervene in the war and to experience the Russian wrath that any intervention force would be submitted to.

But the current crop of western 'leaders' is too committed to the failed case for Ukraine they now have made for more than two years. For now they are likely to try to just muddle through.

We will have to wait for some 'regime change' for a return to sanity and realism.

Is it that this final conflict was planned and desired by our "elite' planetary leaders? I think so, and yet I am hopeful it won't come to this, Putin recently affirmed that it is the elites in western countries which are the true enemy of Russia, not the people: he will be restrained as long as he is able to be.

We in the western countries also affirmed that it is western elites who are our tremendous existential threat.


And, you know, the Great War, the War to End All Wars, was completed a little over a hundred years ago.

That should have informed the rest of the world that western elites were stuffed with goose feces immediately.

I suppose it would be fair to say that conflict with Russia was planned, after softening and rotting it from the inside, and that plan was not that the western elites would lose.

Since it obviously is lost before beginning, perhaps that can serve as a reminder, that western elites are stuffed with goose feces, and unable to mentally function outside of their own tunnel vision and adjust to any aspect of reality, such as, this is lost.

At the moment, we would be forced to conclude that French, Polish, Finnish, and Swedish authorities are as out of touch with reality as the Americans.

Stupidity is, indeed, far more dangerous than raw aggression.

Fortunately, France entering as a co-belligerent does not affect any other countries, and in fact their contribution will be so trivial that it will amount to statistics with maybe a few interesting stories. I mean who dreams of capturing the much-vaunted Cesar Gun. If I could airdrop the entire French military on the outskirts of Moscow, it still wouldn't stand a chance.

Remind them their ancient enemy is England, minus the artificial aberration called Entente. You have become Anglophiles. Dread mistake. Oubliez et rentrez pour ranger chez nous.

Yes, defeating Russia has been an obsession since the 1830s. Totally explains every single geostrategic move. Not much doubt about this.

On April 6, 1654, exactly 370 years ago, Russia's Tsar Alexey Mikhailovich Romanov aka Alexey I, granted his royal charter to Hetman of the Zaporozhian Host Bogdan Khmelnitsky. The document secured Russia’s reunification with Left-Bank Ukraine (then – part of Little Russia aka Malorossiya).

In the late 16th and the first half of the 17th century, pressure on the Orthodox population increased from the Polish-Lithuanian gentry in the lands of Ancient Rus controlled by the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

After the Union of Brest was adopted in 1596, a majority of Orthodox priests became completely subordinate to the Pope. Those who remained faithful to Orthodoxy became outcasts and were deprived of hierarchical leadership, since Metropolitan of Kiev Mikhail Rogoza also joined the Greek Catholics. The gentry pursued aggressive Polonisation and Latinisation policy, and those who had the courage to resist were deprived of titles and lands and suffered persecution.

All attempts by the Zaporozhian Cossacks to come to an agreement with the Polish king failed as the Polish nobility did not plan to tolerate a free Orthodox community in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Under the threat of losing religious and national identity, a liberation movement of the Orthodox population of the Dnieper region began to form, with prerequisites created for supporters who sought to overthrow the gentry and reunify with Russia.

In 1648, the Cossacks stepped up their liberation struggle led by Hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky, who repeatedly asked Tsar Alexey I for help, urging him to take the Hetmanate under “his royal hand.”

On January 8, 1654, Pereyaslav Rada officially declared the acceptance of the Zaporozhian Cossacks into the Russian state. On April 5, Tsar Alexey I signed the royal charter, where the Russian monarch’s title “Tsar of all Russia Great and Little” was used for the first time.

The Pereyaslav Agreement

On January 18, 1654 (370 years ago), Zaporozhiye Cossacks led by Hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky announced in the city of Pereyaslav their decision to move “under the high arm” of the Moscow tsar.

Since the start of the Rzeczpospolita, the Catholic gentry had subjected the people living in ancient Russian lands to aggressive Polonisation and Latinisation, which was accompanied by the seizure of substantial land holdings. Threatened with the loss of religious and ethnic identity, the Orthodox population of the Dnieper River began gradually forming a liberation movement. Those who wanted to escape the yoke of the Polish gentry and reunite with Russia were ready to act together.

The leaders of the uprising looked at other options for the future. There were initiatives to reconcile with the Polish king, and even seeking the patronage of the Turkish sultan was considered.

☝️ Ultimately, however, the people of these lands made their historical choice in favour of unification with Russia.

The Pereyaslav Agreement ’s defining feature was representation of all areas of the Hetmanate divided into military-administrative units (Cossack regiments). A certificate from Tsar Alexis of Russia read that he accepted under his “high arm the entire Zaporozhiye Cossacks with cities and lands". Bogdan Khmelnitsky, the Cossack commanding officer and the local population swore allegiance to Russia.

❗️ This decision marked a turning point in the history of Eastern Europe as a whole.

The decision by the Pereyaslav Agreement clearly demonstrated the will of the once separated people to live in the same state.

Unfortunately, the term “reunification” has been all but forgotten in official Ukrainian historiography. The West is openly encouraging the Kiev regime to renounce centuries of friendship and brotherhood with Moscow and fanning anti-Russia hysteria in Ukrainian society.

Plan "B" is being prepared for Ukraine. The West views Moldova as a springboard for its troops, writes Asia Times.

The West is seriously thinking about the imminent defeat of Kiev, and in view of this, NATO is looking for a new springboard - #Moldova is ideal for its role.

Of course, there were a lot of displaced Christians around the Black Sea since they were driven out of Palestine by the Fourth Crusade, another spate of mindless violence for God and country.

Poland apparently acclimated itself to a determination of Sarmatian heritage, Persian influence, and Trinitarian Jews as equivalent to Christians. That's flaky. But, yes, its conflicts with Russia and the subsequent territorial shifts made this abattoir we continue to watch on auto-play.

American Militants Already Lying Dead On Russian Territory

On April 6, Russian military sources shared videos, which confirmed that American militants took part in Ukrainian attacks on the Russian Belgorod region in March. Moreover, US citizens died on the Russian border.

Russian services continue investigation in the border areas, where Kiev’s forces launched attacks in early March in an attempt to thwart the presidential elections in the Russian Federation. Ukrainian attacks ended in heavy losses and no territorial gains. Even the main goal of the bloody border battles, which was a PR media campaign, completely failed.

The Kiev regime attempted to assure the public in Ukraine and abroad that the attacks on the Russian territory are launched by Russian citizens, who joined the Ukrainian struggle against Putin. In fact, the attacks are planned and fully coordinated by the Ukrainian special services; while militants of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate and foreign mercenaries from different countries, but almost no Russian citizens, are the main manpower of these attacks.

New videos discovered on the GoPro cameras of destroyed American militants confirmed their involvement in the attacks on the Russian region. The mercenaries participated in an attempt to break into Russian territory near the village of Kozinka.

The Ukrainian militants confirmed that the Russian sniper killed an American with a shot in his head. Moreover, judging by the conversations, American militants commanded at least one group in the area.

Russian media sources shared the videos of the American mercenaries with the following comment:

The allusions of the overseas guest to paintball and strikeball (wildly popular in the USA) indicate that the comrade did not clearly understand what kind of deep sh*t he got to. Probably, his entire combat experience was limited to guarding oil rigs in Iraq or Syria. And he had only seen close-range shooting on a playing field somewhere in Nevada.

But no paintball could prepare him for artillery, FABs and snipers who shoot 12.7 mm bullets instead of plastic balls. The American “gamer” realized this too late.

The Kiev regime tried its best to pass off their attack on Belgorod region as the independent operations of the so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps”. In fact, foreign mercenaries – Americans, French and Romanians, as well as militants of the special forces of the Ukrainian military intelligence – took part in the attacks.

Earlier, Romanian militants were so proud of their operations in Ukraine that they openly declared their involvement in the attacks on the Russian territory. Later, a group of Polish militants openly declared their participation in attacks on Russian territory.

Even the foreign mercenaries do not bother to support the lies of the Kiev’s officials. Kiev suffered defeat in another media battle, while no foreign fighters helped Ukrainians achieve any goals on the battlefield. Meanwhile, the bodies of citizens of NATO member states are already rotting on Russian soil.

Former Pentagon Adviser Col. Douglas Macgregor said Sunday the United States should stop "marching" into foreign nations to expand their political influence.

Earlier this week US Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed the US-led NATO alliance is a defensive organization that has "no designs" to seize the territory of any other country in the world. NATO has carried out bombings and interventions in countries including Libya, Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan over its 75-year history.

According to them, a man called Saifullo contacted them and promised one million rubles ($10,984) each. A video with the interrogation of terrorists by the FSB of the Russian Federation was shown on Channel One.

"Saifullo told us to go to Ukraine, to Kiev. They will give us one million rubles there," one of the accused said during interrogation.

Another accused of organizing the terrorist attack said about the assistance they had been promised when crossing the Ukrainian border.

On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack targeted the Crocus City Hall music venue in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just outside the Moscow city limits. According to the latest data, 144 people were killed and 551 people suffered injuries. Eleven people, including four direct perpetrators, have been arrested for their part in the terrorist attack. The Russian Investigative Committee said that investigators had found evidence of the perpetrators’ connection to Ukrainian nationalists.
