I'll just add confirmation that Oleg is indeed a dentist. He's an independent contractor, and looks to be employed with several private dental practices in Kiev. So yeah, he may well have been "performing surgery on a five month old child at Okhmatdyt hospital" (albeit dental surgery)



However, if we contrast his actual dental profession against MSM manipulating him as a "doctor undergoing surgery at a childrens hospital" while headlining his bloodied shirt like the main character of a movie

As far as I can tell, your dispute is with Maimunka. It's ok if you say "Maimunka" and let the rest of us decide if it is a "pro-Russian propaganda source".

The "point" seemed to be it was originally a Ukrainian report on the "real" doctor, and, this whole thing is irrelevant to the missile that hit the hospital in the first place.

My current estimate is that zero minds abandoned Ukraine and ran to Russia based on, well, either story.

Also that perhaps millions believe it was an intentional Russian strike anyway, and, the effect of that is, rather than attracting new followers, they get angrier.

Because the simple reason from Nuclear War 101 is that modern (i. e. solid state) electronics will be rendered useless. Russia has kept the use of vacuum tube technology. Their strategy has provided for a minor amount of being able to use, for example, radios, even if you have to hand-generate electricity. In that sense, even after a major disaster, they at least have a grasp towards something 1940s-ish.

There are no backups here.

If we lose oil or electricity, I don't have steam engines lying around, or even wagons for horses. America is always eight meals away from total disaster. It's quite fragile.

In the sense of internet or information jamming on its own, the above does not really apply. It's really a Soviet doctrine to have considered that aspect of survival. As far as the ultra-modern blocking satellites at a specific time, yes, this a volatile arena where you never really know if anything will work until you try it.

Does anyone remember what happened when they switched the way radar works about two years ago?

That's right, the U. S. Air Force went and shot down multiple UFOs.

So, yes, we might keep this one a bit tongue-in-cheek as "product may not work as advertised".

My dispute is the misidentification of the doctor. Maimunka shared a video in which a man with a Ukrainian police uniform covers a man in doctor's clothes in (fake) blood. Maimunka further claimed that this man in doctor's clothes is the same man who was photographed helping to clear the rubble at the children's hospital in Kyiv. However, looking at the evidence, Maimunka's claims are false because the man in the doctor's clothes on the left wears different shoes, his pants are of a different length, and the blood stains are quite different from the man on the right side. Would you agree with that?

If the video with the imagery on the left was indeed, as you say, "originally a Ukrainian report," I would like to see a source for that.

Yes, the photos seem different, and, it seems a bit odd to have one of the "decorating moment".

I was just responding to the vague text in the first post of the incident, and at the top of the page above that:

Ukrainian Telegram channels have published a video clip filmed in the center of Kiev. The video shows a Ukrainian police officer pouring blood from a blood bag on a man in a doctor's coat.

Plus the logic that if an incident in Ukraine was filmed, that was done by Ukrainians. So, the photos for comparison are both Ukrainian, according to that.

I would tend to say that the Maimunka articles *do* have an edge, or spin, based in the language that Ukraine = dishonest and Russia = honest. It may be unquestioningly nationalistic. But in this case, it appears they are not the "source" of the doctor/actor thing, and we are confused about the connection.

A Russian citizen suspected of blowing up a car in Moscow has been detained in Turkish city of Bodrum, Interior Ministry has said

A Russian citizen suspected of being responsible for a car bombing in Moscow on Wednesday morning has been detained by police in the Turkish city of Bodrum, the country’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced.

The arrest comes after a Toyota Land Cruiser, reportedly belonging to a Russian serviceman, exploded near a residential building in Northern Moscow earlier in the day. The bomb went off when the owner of the vehicle and a person believed to be his wife, got inside. Both suffered injuries, with the man reportedly losing his feet and the woman receiving shrapnel wounds. Both have been hospitalized.

Following the incident, Russia’s Investigative Committee told the TASS news agency that the identity of the culprit behind the explosion had been established and that they had found the car he used to get to the scene of the crime.

Several hours later, the Turkish Interior Minister published a statement on X that Russia’s Interpol unit had informed Türkiye’s Interpol/Europol bureau that the person behind the car bombing, identified as Yevgeny Serebryakov, a Russian citizen, had boarded a flight from Moscow and traveled to Bodrum.

After that, the man was arrested by the Mugla Provincial Police units in the city, Yerlikaya said. The arrest was caught on video, which was shared by the minister.

According to media reports, citing sources within the Turkish Interior Ministry, Serebryakov was able to enter the country as a tourist, given that he was not yet placed on any international wanted list.

While investigators in Russia continue to examine the details of the terrorist act, no official statements have been made yet regarding potential reasons for the brazen attack.
