🔸 Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, the European Union has sanctioned hundreds of companies, including one that produces radars installed on warships. Russian nationals, however, don’t face blanket sanctions and can work in the EU, provided they have the correct visa.

If Donald Trump wins the November 5 election, the UK and other European NATO members could be faced with “a forced settlement favoring Russia,” Politico has reported in reference to the Ukraine crisis.

Politico suggests that if Europe rejects a peace deal and continue to help the Kiev regime, it may prod Trump to announce that America is withdrawing its defense guarantees from these countries.

This “would divide and weaken NATO” right down to the point where some allies might halt their support to Ukraine. If Trump becomes the 47th POTUS, his advisers may call for the end of the Ukraine conflict “to stop the US from being drawn in if Russia were to retaliate against NATO members supplying Ukraine [with weapons].”

Trump has repeatedly claimed that if re-elected, he intends to achieve settlement of the Ukraine conflict in just 24 hours. Commenting on the matter, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that the problem is too complicated to be resolved in such a way.

1,885 in a DAY?! That's likely to be accurate given the extent of ISR coverage and on-the-ground tallying. (And NATO will know this too.) To those of us who do understand why this is happening at all it's no less harrowing and sobering a figure to conjure with

It's encouraging to hear a Rada deputy speak up and although others have tried to they do tend to get squashed. The reality here is that as long as Zelensky and his trolls and masters still have enough clout to claim to be in-charge there, there simply cannot be any negotiation. The conditions aren't right yet, unless there is a popular uprising sufficiently well organised enough to bring down the government there, at the hands of the Ukrainian people. (There are encouraging signs of genuine popular unrest now more regularly reaching us, through Telegram channel footage.)

Then, and only then, can any real negotiations take place, is my best speculation here, and has been for many months now.
