Iraqi Resistance drone-strikes Israeli target in occupied Haifa
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced that its fighters drone-struck an Israeli target in Haifa, occupied Palestine, on Tuesday evening.

The Resistance affirmed that the operation was part of its ongoing efforts to resist the occupation, in solidarity with the people of Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.

It further vowed to continue operations "striking enemy strongholds with increasing intensity."

On Monday, the Iraqi Resistance announced that it had launched a strike against an Israeli target in the Jordan Valley in occupied Palestine using drone aircraft.

According to the Israeli Alma research center, the attacks launched by the Iraqi Resistance on Israeli assets from November 2023 to May 2023 totaled 107 long-range attacks.

These attacks were spread out as follows: 51% targeted southern areas in occupied Palestine, most of which are in the port city of Eilat, 41.2% in northern occupied territories, and 7.8% in central areas, such as Haifa.

The most noteworthy of these attacks was a one-way attack drone that struck the naval port in Eilat on April 1, 2024.

UNGA votes 124-14 to end Israeli occupation, 43 nations abstain
On Wednesday, UN General Assembly member states passed a non-binding resolution demanding that "Israel" end its occupation of Palestinian territories within 12 months, with sanctions for non-compliance.

The resolution, based on an International Court of Justice (ICJ) opinion declaring the occupation unlawful since 1967, saw 124 votes in favor, 14 against, and 43 abstentions. Arab countries initiated the special session just before the UN General Assembly.

The resolution calls for "Israel's" withdrawal from occupied territories, halts on new settlements, and the return of seized lands.

It also suggests that countries cease arms sales to "Israel" when there is evidence that the arms are used in occupied areas.

"Israel" rejected the resolution, with its UN ambassador calling it a "shameful decision," adding that it "backs the Palestinian Authority's diplomatic terrorism."

The US, on the other hand, voted against the resolution, labeling it as "inflammatory" and unproductive for peace.

Earlier, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, US ambassador to the UN, urged for nations to vote against the resolution. On Thursday, the diplomat said she believes the UN has an "Israel problem" when questioned on the matter.

The US has been "Israel's" strongest ally during its ongoing genocide in Gaza, opposing unilateral measures that hinder a two-state solution or permanent ceasefire.

Although the ICJ's advisory opinion is non-binding, it holds significant influence under international law and may weaken the occupation's support. This is similar to the General Assembly's case, where the non-binding resolution carries political weight.

"The Palestinians want to live -- not survive. They want to be safe in their homes," Palestinian UN Ambassador Riyad Mansour told the General Assembly on Tuesday.

"How many more Palestinians need to be killed before change finally takes place to stop this inhumanity?"

"Each country has a vote, and the world is watching us," he added. "Please stand on the right side of history. With international law. With freedom. With peace," he urged.

Israeli forces frequently target those trying to reach cemeteries, worsening the situation.

Euro-Med Monitor's infographic highlights around 30 mass graves with 3,000 victims, but on the ground, over 120 such graves have been created since October 2023. Many remain undocumented, often buried in private spaces, with some moved frequently. Israeli forces regularly bulldoze both official and makeshift graves, desecrating bodies and violating international law.

Infographic: About 1,000 Palestinian health workers killed by Israeli forces in Gaza war

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli occupation forces have killed 1,151 Palestinian health workers during its genocide war on Gaza, the Palestinian health ministry said on Tuesday.

A total of 986 were named in a new report published by the ministry, while personal data for the remaining 165 was still being verified. The ministry said the delay in the verification process was due to Israeli authorities withholding the victims’ bodies or their remains being buried under rubble.

“The Palestinian sector has been subjected to a systematic attack by the occupation forces that has affected all its components,” the ministry noted.

Health facilities were the target of direct and repeated Israeli raids and air strikes, it added, which has crippled the health system and left hundreds of thousands of war victims facing “imminent death”.

Health workers have been arrested, brutally interrogated and assassinated, it said.

“The data included in this report… reflects the effects of the systematic and deliberate Israeli aggression against the health sector.”

The Israeli military has been accused of deliberately destroying Gaza’s health system through constant attacks on hospitals, ambulances and doctors, including by airstrikes, detentions and denial of medical equipment, since the start of the war in Gaza on October 7.

In June, it was revealed that Dr Iyad Rantisi, who was the director of Kamal Adwan hospital’s maternity department, died “under torture” in Israeli custody after he was detained by invading troops from Gaza in November.

Prominent surgeon and professor of orthopedic medicine Dr Adnan al-Bursh was also killed in Israeli detention in April.

More than 300 health workers were arrested by Israeli forces during the assault.

Former prisoners say doctors are singled out for cruel treatment by Israeli forces in detention, where torture and abuse of Palestinian prisoners is widespread and systematic.

Palestinian doctor dies in Israeli detention after being arrested from Gaza hospital

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Palestinian doctor Ziad al-Dalou has died in Israeli custody after being arrested by Israeli forces from Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital during the ongoing genocide war.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Wednesday that al-Dalou, an internal medicine physician, is the third doctor to die in Israeli jails, where widespread torture has killed at least 60 Palestinian prisoners over the past 11 months.

Dalou was detained on 18 March from al-Shifa Hospital, along with dozens of other health workers, when Israeli forces raided the facility in a two-week-long assault.

In June, it was revealed that Dr. Iyad Rantisi, who was the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital’s maternity department, died “under torture” in Israeli custody after he was detained by invading forces from Gaza in November while traveling from northern Gaza to the south with his family, wearing his scrubs, and adhering to the Israeli-designated “safe corridor”.

The ministry noted that Dalou was detained while performing his duties at the hospital.

“Targeting healthcare workers while performing their humanitarian duty is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.”
