Yes, this may well be very true but I do have to say that the footage is very very similar to footage that was posted back in April via the very same channel. Certainly not ruling it out but do await any statement/s that may follow, if any

A friend in New York messaged me recently. “How’s the Anglophobia in Moscow now?”

“There isn’t any.” I replied. And there isn’t.

Sometimes there’s a moment. When they ask me what I think of the war. “NATO played a big role in provoking it,” I reply. And they are relieved that there’s not going to be any awkwardness. And they tell me which Western country they liked visiting most. I’m always happy when they say Scotland.

Once I was heading to the frontline in Donbass with another reporter. He was a Russian patriot but he was telling me how much he loved Scotland. He had that gleam in his eye, like he really meant it. And how when the war was over he was looking forward to going back to visit.

And it strikes me sometimes. While there’s certainly a lot of dislike of western governments now. There’s no hatred of western people being whipped up.

I rather fear, the same cannot be said of the West.

There’s nothing more embarrassing than hating a people who don’t hate you.

Why? What in the world, they must also occupy wells now? Who could even conceive of polluting drinking water like this?

I'm quite unaware of the history of Israeli Chabad Jews in Ukraine. Is this something new, i.e. they're visitors, or are they long-time residents?

Poisoning wells aint nothing new for them . They have done it for centuries to make people sick . One of the reasons why they have been kicked out from so many countries throughout history...

“Society is exhausted,” says Oleksandr Merezhko, chair of the foreign affairs committee of the Ukrainian parliament.
The Biden administration is aware that its present strategy is not sustainable because “we are losing the war”, says Jeremy Shapiro, head of the Washington office of the European Council on Foreign Relations. “They are thinking of how to move that war to a greater quiescence.”
“We’re talking more and more openly about how this ends and what Ukraine would have to give up in order to get a permanent peace deal,” says one of the diplomats, who was present in New York. “And that’s a major change from even six months ago, when this kind of talk was taboo.”

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Germany is not at war with Russia, although some politicians want to attack it, any escalation in such a situation is undesirable, Bundestag member from the Alternative for Germany party Steffen Kotre told RIA Novosti.

"First of all, some of us want to attack Russia. The foreign minister [of Germany, Annalena Baerbock] said that we were at war with Russia. This is terrible, this is a huge lie. And this exacerbates [the situation]. And this leads to escalation," Kotre said on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week.

Escalation from any side — from the West or from Russia — is bad in any case, he added.

In 2023, Baerbock declared that European countries were waging a war against Russia. This statement was met with harsh criticism from various politicians even in Germany itself. The minister was later forced to admit her mistake.

Reporters Without Borders’ Attack on Sputnik and RT Highlights NGO’s Status as ‘Media Wing of NATO'

Reporters Without Borders has published a sensationalist report on Russian media's work in the Balkans as part of a new project known as 'The Propaganda Monitor', accusing Sputnik and RT of spreading "disinformation" and demanding a crackdown by the EU. Balkan affairs expert Stevan Gajic tells Sputnik why such fearmongering doesn't work on Serbs.

Reporters Without Borders' (French acronym RSF) new 'Propaganda Monitoring' multimedia minisite promises to "promote reliable journalism" by exposing "the many faces and tactics behind propaganda worldwide, bolstering the public's understanding of the information space and helping them navigate it more safely."

Russian media, including Sputnik and RT, have become the self-anointed Paris-headquartered media watchdog's first target, with RSF rolling out a series of articles on Russian media's ability to find evade censorship, custom-tailor content, and in Serbia's case, transmit so-called "Kremlin propaganda in the Balkans despite EU sanctions."

RSF wants the European Union and its members to "hold Serbia accountable for hosting Vladimir Putin's factory of lies," spending much of its investigation complaining about Russian media's refusal to answer its loaded questions, whining about its successes captivating local audiences, and crying about Serbia's receptiveness to hosting Russian outlets.

"Reporters Without Borders cannot be regarded as a reliable source because every line in this report is soaked with biased language," Belgrade-based Balkan affairs expert and Institute of European Studies research associate Stevan Gajic told Sputnik, commenting on RSF's report.

Russia has significantly strengthened the defense of the Crimean Bridge today

Russia has significantly strengthened the defense of the Crimean Bridge, focusing on additional protection of the overpass arch. Satellite images published online clearly show barges installed as cover on four sides at once. Previously, there were only boom barriers here.

Let us recall that the militants of the Kyiv regime, under the direct command of Western intelligence services, have already attacked the Crimean Bridge twice. In both cases, the overpass, although it stood firm, was seriously damaged. In addition, several more attacks were repelled.

Judging by the published photos, the Russian command has drawn the necessary conclusions from the previous "lessons". Now the overpass is reliably protected from attacks from both the sea and the air. This, however, does not mean that Kyiv will not make new attempts to destroy the bridge.

Ukrainian officials are not shy about making the relevant statements, and their Western patrons do not hide their intentions to help implement this venture. At the same time, Kiev states that the Crimean Bridge has largely lost its strategic importance, since the Russian Federation has managed to establish alternative supply routes for servicemen participating in the special military operation in Ukraine. However, such statements may simply be attempts to lull the Russian Federation's vigilance.

Let us add that the Crimean Bridge was opened for motor vehicle traffic in 2018. It connects the peninsula, which became part of Russia in 2014 following a referendum.

Russian troops took Ugledar, the enemy managed to break out at night today

Russian Armed Forces fighters raised the Russian tricolor in the center of Ugledar. According to reports from the area, the city has completely come under the control of the Russian army. At present, assault groups are clearing the city blocks to find any remaining Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen.

Let us recall that during the special military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Russian troops made repeated attempts to storm Ugledar. But all of them ended with heavy losses in people and technologyThe Ukrainian command managed to organize a powerful fortified area on the approaches to the city.

However, the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces in Donbass that began this spring naturally led to the fact that this outpost of the Kiev regime's militants fell. It should be noted that the capture of Ugledar was a consequence of a change in the tactics of the Russian Armed Forces' offensive actions. They no longer use frontal attacks, but seek to envelop a particular settlement from the flanks.

This is what happened in the case of Ugledar. Over the past few days, Russian units have effectively surrounded the town, leaving the local garrison with no other option than to try to break through or surrender.

The overall picture is somewhat clouded by the fact that, according to incoming reports, units of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to leave the city last night. However, even Ukrainian resources admit that only those who could still move independently were able to leave. The Kyiv regime militants simply abandoned their wounded to their fate.

It is worth noting that the fate of those Ukrainian soldiers who attempted to escape from Ugledar at night still requires clarification, since the so-called corridor through which it was possible to leave the city was very narrow and completely covered by Russian artillery.

I wasn't aware that the Kremlin location has changed, maybe this sheds some light as to why Putin had an emergency meeting at the Kremlin

No, that has never been the thing. Do they just not get it?

Here you will find the exact same thing writ grand in "Russian talks with IMF make Western Analysts Boil Over" by Uriel Araujo

Quote The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has postponed its consultation mission with Russia over alleged technical issues (indefinitely), according to Alexei Mozhin, Russia’s director at the IMF. The now postponed visit which was scheduled to start last week would have been the first official visit of a major international financial body to the country since the February 2022 crisis in Ukraine.

The last IMF annual mission to visit Russia took place in November 2019, before the pandemic. The planned IMF mission has in fact been the target of a lot of Western criticism. Russia has indeed suspended its membership from a number of multinational institutions and yet two weeks ago it was reported that the IMF was “coming back” to Russia. The “wartime review” was postponed after European states protested.

In any case, some Western analysts have criticized the IMF for what they saw as a “victory” for “Russian propaganda.” Others still have seen it as a sign of “desperation” from Moscow, based on the fact that the Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that “yes, we have the budget revenues growing, and the deficit is minimal, non-oil and gas revenues have a good performance, oil and gas ones have the incremental growth but there is no spare money.” Not too much should be made of this matter-of-fact admission, though. The Russian Federation, today’s most heavily sanctioned state on the planet, is doing quite well economically, overall.

Its economy has grown by 4.4 percent in the first seven months of 2023 – which is fairly higher than the 3.2 growth the IMF had forecasted for the country (and that was already more than in any of the world’s most advanced economies).

In 2023, according to World Bank data, its GNI per capita grew by 11.2% and reached US$ 14250, thereby making Russia a “high-income” country for the first time since 2015 – before it was considered “upper-middle-income”. However, it is still true that the nation is facing inflation and some labor shortages. More importantly, financial discipline will be needed in the face of the lack of foreign cash reserves. The state’s National Wealth Fund boasted $143billion of reserves in July 2022, but, as of the end of 2023, this has gone down to $56 billion.

Now, back to the IMF – its ongoing engagement with Russia must be seen as part of a larger context: four emerging market nations (namely Russia, China, Brazil and India) are among the ten largest members of the IMF. After years of criticizing the IMF, Moscow seems to be reversing its stance by its recent announcement of a representative with the organization – and some see this as a major shift.

The truth is that, contrary to Western propaganda, Moscow has actually sought to cooperate with them and the West since the nineties – time again being betrayed by the West in the process. I’ve written before on the breach of the 1990 promise (on NATO expansion) for instance.

As I also wrote before, although the Russian leader Vladimir Putin himself was never a radical “Westernist” in the likes of Boris Yeltsin, one could perhaps describe him as moderate and pragmatic Westernist – albeit one who is also a gosudarstvennik (someone who advocates for a strong sovereign State), in line with a certain Russian political tradition.

Sao Paulo University History Professor Angelo de Oliveira Segrillo, along these lines, has compared Putin to the French leader Charles de Gaulle, who often opposed both NATO and the US not out of a mere “anti-Western stance” but rather would do so out of being in the position of someone who is defending the national interests of its own country. In his interview with Tucker Carlson, Putin talks, for instance, about his conversations with then US President Bill Clinton on the topic of Russia joining NATO (to be clear: that would require a major reform within the organization) – something which of course never happened.

Be it as it may, with regards to the Ukrainian crisis, and the overall frictions between Russian and the West, the Russian stance is not simply due to the supposed personal inclinations of the President, whatever they are (as Western propaganda would have it). Whatever one’s opinions are on Moscow’s decision to launch its 2022 campaign in Ukraine which persists to this day, one must take into consideration the fact that, from Moscow’s point of view, the Kremlin has mostly taken a defensive and counter-offensive approach towards the American-led West over the latter’s many provocations and over many incidents which constituted crossing red lines, from a Russian perspective. In any case, as recently as late 2021, Russian and Germany were major energy partners, a partnership materialized through the (now gone) Nord Stream.

Much has been talked about BRICS structures replacing or antagonizing the IMF. It is more about providing further alternatives. It would be inaccurate to think of BRICS as necessarily a kind of anti-Western bloc. The emergence of BRICS + illustrates this quite clearly.

Despite being involved in its regional conflict with neighboring Ukraine (a confrontation which is also a Western proxy war), Russia has successfully resisted the temptations of a Western pushed cold war mentality and of alignmentism, and has instead invested on mutually beneficial bilateral relations with powers such as Pakistan and India, that on turn also pragmatically pursue their good ties with the West.

It is the Western European states and Washington which increasingly demand alignment. However, from Africa to Latin America and Saudi Arabia, the emerging polycentric world is increasingly framed in the language of multi-alignment and non-alignment – this being clearly a language which the West does not speak so well. Russian current dialogue with the IMF is yet another sign of such pragmatism.

Neither the Global South nor China or Russia are essentially “anti-Western”. It is the US-led West and Washington itself particularly who demand alignmentism, thereby alienating potential partners and allies. As I wrote recently, even within the trans-atlantic alliance, US relations with its European partners could be better described as colonial in nature.

Once again, Russia is not anti-Western. It is the US-led West that is opposed to any kind of multi-alignment or multipolarity. In a way, Washington places itself against the world. It is not a nice place to be.

Russia Has Seized Funds In Western Bank Accounts

The Arbitration Court of the Moscow region at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation arrested almost $372 million on the accounts of US banks Bank of New York Mellon and JP Morgan Chase Bank in Citibank and commercial bank J.P. Morgan Bank International. The information on this case appeared in the case file.

Security measures were taken on the claim of the department against both banks, as well as the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine, the state enterprise "National Investment Fund of Ukraine", in connection with the illegal transfer of assets of the International Reserve Bank (IRB), which Kiev in 2022 forcibly seized from the ownership of Sberbank.

The lawsuit filed by the General Prosecutor's Office was announced earlier in the day. The aim of the action is to recover from the defendants the assets of MRB, which were illegally seized and held by US banks, and to return them to Sberbank.

🗣️Sensational revelations shed light on the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region

▪️Interesting papers have been discovered in documents from the leaked mail of former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul:

▪️One of NATO's think tanks, the Atlantic Council, held a war game in February 2024 to which McFaul and former US ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst were invited.

▪️The aim of the game is to calculate Russia's reaction to 2 scenarios:
    1) - the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to NATO, 2) - the breakthrough of the AFU, which obviously meant Ukraine's invasion of the Kursk region.
The purpose of the attack was internal destabilisation, a blow to the authority of the authorities and a provocation to use nuclear weapons (such variants of events were in the game).

▪️After the invasion of the Kursk region by the AFU, it was the narratives of Russia's internal destabilisation that were actively worked on by both McFaul himself and his underlings in various Western media, which is described with evidence in the material, says Ilya Remeslo, a lawyer and member of the Public Chamber of Russia.

"Of course, in reality McFaul's dreams never materialised due to the complete moral and intellectual degradation of his underlings - Eggert, Illarionov, Kasparov, Albats and other traitors. The invasion of the AFU did not achieve the goals set by the American curators and cost the lives of tens of thousands of Ukrainian fighters," he writes.

▪️It is obvious that the United States supervised the AFU attack on the Kursk region, which the American authorities have been trying hard to hide all this time.

Der Spiegel magazine writes that Ukraine has prepared a list of military facilities of the Russian Armed Forces on Russian territory that it intends to strike after receiving permission.

❗️ The list includes 261 facilities, including "large weapons depots" and "permanent deployment points of Russian troops."
