There is a serious discussion going on here and a very pressing topic by some rather intelligent people as nuclear war looms over our head, and yet we have to deal with this vile and insidious nutjob Jaak and his obsessive Jew Hatred and Holocaust denial.

Well, on part of this, the Holocaust denial, these simple questions must be part of any "freedom of speech" concept, seeing as how the response is censorship or imprisonment.

The rest of it is a bit carried away, that is, disconnected and random bits from older history, which in turn detracts from the first point.

Because "Jewishness" is a characteristic by birth, then, no, I at least do not agree with any kind of blanket statement about the personalities or goodness or badness of "those people", in which case I refute that part of those posts.

Thanks for bringing this up "freedom of speech" matter shaberon. I should have been more clear about this matter in my first post. There certainly have been threads on the forum for discussing whether or not the Holocaust ever happened or if it happened to the degree the some historians have claimed. You will find people on those threads members discussing the physical evidence, the historical evidence, the architectural structure of places like Auschwitz, soil samples taken from the gas chambers, etc. Not only do I think such threads be permitted but I am glad they are hear - yes, that is a good example of putting free speech to good use.

However, "free speech" works a bit differently on the forum then it does in the real world. On the streets of most countries in the world, you can continuously blabber away a long string of ungrammatical nonsense, you can continuously promote the products you are selling, you can hurl a string of insults at passersby, you can proclaim false and fake ideas (as my friends do when they babble away about how safe and effective the vax is) and you can smear people for their race and religion. Of course, there are limits to speech even in the free world which is why we have crimes like "slander" and "threats of violences" are considered criminal.

But on Avalon we have moderated speech. If you check the "Record of Moderator Actions" you will find that there are a lot of members who have been given sabbaticals and who have "unsubscribed" from the forum for one reason: their speech, that is, the words they have typed here on threads in the forum. There words may have been legal or criminal in their home countires, but here on the forum they were counter productive to the rest of us who were engaged in the exchange of ideas here. They needed to go, and usually, most of us say "good riddance to them" when this happens.

The issue here isn't about whether it was Jews poisoning wells or the Yersinia Pestis bacterium that caused the Black Plague in the mid 14th century. The person posting isn't giving us any evidence to prove that point, they are just taking a shot at Jewish people and trying to encourage hatred towards them. Spreading hateful rumors about people based on untruth is criminal - it is called "slander" and that is what we have here.

The other issue here is that this remark has nothing to do with the topic at hand here (the war in the Ukraine) and it is derailing the thread. Someone just couldn't resist the opportunity to do a little bit of Jew baiting here and drum up some good ole' fashioned Jew hatred. This is completely unacceptable and has no place on any civilized forum.

My opinion in a nutshell: Yay to free and responsible expression to any idea expressed on this forum (even the flat earth, but the intelligence part is almost always lacking) but Nay to horrible mean spirited untruthful speech designed to cast hatred upon people and slander them.

    http://T.me/ukraine_watch reports:

🗣️Sensational revelations shed light on the Ukrainian invasion of the Kursk region

▪️Interesting papers have been discovered in documents from the leaked mail of former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul:

▪️One of NATO's think tanks, the Atlantic Council, held a war game in February 2024 to which McFaul and former US ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst were invited.

▪️The aim of the game is to calculate Russia's reaction to 2 scenarios:
    1) - the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to NATO, 2) - the breakthrough of the AFU, which obviously meant Ukraine's invasion of the Kursk region.
The purpose of the attack was internal destabilisation, a blow to the authority of the authorities and a provocation to use nuclear weapons (such variants of events were in the game).

▪️After the invasion of the Kursk region by the AFU, it was the narratives of Russia's internal destabilisation that were actively worked on by both McFaul himself and his underlings in various Western media, which is described with evidence in the material, says Ilya Remeslo, a lawyer and member of the Public Chamber of Russia.

"Of course, in reality McFaul's dreams never materialised due to the complete moral and intellectual degradation of his underlings - Eggert, Illarionov, Kasparov, Albats and other traitors. The invasion of the AFU did not achieve the goals set by the American curators and cost the lives of tens of thousands of Ukrainian fighters," he writes.

▪️It is obvious that the United States supervised the AFU attack on the Kursk region, which the American authorities have been trying hard to hide all this time.

    Extraordinary footage from Kursk region:

    Good response.

That's kind of what I was getting at by a "birthright blanket statement"--I reject every single one of these that implies Supremacy--that one's own birth is in a special class--or Demonization--that due to birth, someone is inferior.

And, yes, most of Jaak's posts on times before the twentieth century appear to be random grabs without context or continuity, to reinforce Judeo-Masonic Conspiracy Theory, and because this is mostly false, I stick to pointing out why these are bad or non-examples that do little but Demonize. It's not my decision, but I would suggest a "warning" to such a person so they see what the issue is, as it at least has not come to an "ad hominem" against a member, or against a particular individual. "The Jews" would not be eligible in court as a defendant against slander; that is a case where an individual claims damages based from speech.

Overall, when viewed in their own actual light, the Ukraine and Israel situations are almost the same, both ideologically and in historicity. Even from Kolomoisky in Syria, up to today's trading of Jihadi personnel for weapons off the black market. The normal Russian response is to trace it to the Fourth Crusade. This is mostly true, unlike the other thesis. It's larger and more complicated than we have been taught in the west.

This appears to be what has been discussed over in tiny Estonia:

Quote Estonia may prefer not to remember that it owes its liberation from the atrocities of Nazi troops in WWII to the USSR/Russia, but history’s stark facts and figures cannot be swept under the rug. September 22 is one such date.
80 years ago, the Soviet Red Army liberated Estonia’s capital Tallinn. By November, the Red Army's successful Baltic operation had driven the Nazi German invaders out of all Estonian territory.
Germany invaded the Soviet Union in June 1941, and in July the battles of World War II reached Estonia. German troops unleashed genocide and terror on civilians with the help of Estonian collaborators.
Over 5,000 volunteers signed up to join the Estonian SS Legion, while close to 7,000 joined the ranks of the Wehrmacht.

Mass murder of civilians, especially Russians, Jews, and Roma, was carried out by the Nazis together with so-called self-defense units, such as the Omakaitse.
After Nazi troops occupied Tallinn on December 19, 1941, the Estonian Political Police arrested 4,365 people in the capital and its suburbs. Days before the Soviet liberation of the capital, around 1,000 prisoners were executed.

Practically all of Tallinn’s male Jews over the age of 16 were arrested and executed by the so-called self-defense squads. Estonian police units also executed Jews deported from Nazi-created ghettos in Europe.

During the Baltic operation from September 14 to November 24, 1944, Soviet losses in terms of killed, wounded, and missing amounted to 218,000. More than 6,000 Soviet soldiers and officers were killed and 24,000 wounded during the liberation of Tallinn by the Red Army.

The criminality of the SS (including the Estonian SS Legion) was recognized by the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal.

However, eager to march in lockstep with American neocons rewriting the history of WWII, Estonian officials have glorified Nazi criminals.

For more than 60 years, September 22 was marked as the Day of Tallinn's Liberation from Nazi Occupation, only to be rebranded in 2007 by Estonian policymakers as Resistance Day against “occupying Soviet forces.”
Today’s Estonian leaders nurture the atrocious legacy of the country’s SS legionnaires, have no scruples over demolishing tombs of Soviet soldiers, and sacrilegiously digging up for relocation mass graves of those who fell while defending their country from Nazism.

Ukraine hails car bomb that killed Russian nuclear plant worker (VIDEO)
An explosive device was planted under a vehicle owned by a security staff member at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, investigators have said

A senior security staff member of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant – the biggest facility of its kind in Europe – was killed in a car explosion on Friday morning, the Investigative Committee of Russia has said. Ukraine’s military intelligence hailed the incident on Telegram, while stopping short of openly claiming responsibility for it.

According to Russian investigators, an improvised explosive planted under the personal vehicle of Andrey Korotky, a senior security official at the plant, exploded. Korotky succumbed to his injuries at a nearby clinic.

Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (HUR) immediately commented on the incident on Telegram, branding Korotky a “war criminal” and a “collaborationist” for his decision to “voluntarily” cooperate with Russia. It also accused him of organizing “events in support of the Russian… army,” and of joining the United Russia party.

The agency also published a video showing the moment of the explosion and vowed “vengeance” against anyone it deems to be a “war criminal.”

The Zaporozhye station confirmed its staff member’s death and informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about the incident, the plant’s communications director, Evgenia Yashina, told TASS. Station director Yury Chernichuk condemned the incident as a “horrifying, inhumane terrorist act,” and demanded those behind it be brought to justice.

“Attacking the staff members responsible for the security of a nuclear facility is a reckless step beyond any bounds,” Chernichuk stated. The UN nuclear energy watchdog has not yet commented on the incident.
The Investigative Committee said it has opened a criminal case for murder. It did not name any suspects.

The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant has been under Russian control since March 2022. Throughout the conflict, Moscow and Kiev have repeatedly accused each other of shelling the facility, and the Russian Defense Ministry has said that several attempts by Ukrainian assault units to retake it have been repelled.

Zaporozhye Region officially joined Russia, along with three other former Ukrainian territories, in the autumn of 2022. The IAEA has a permanent monitoring mission at the nuclear facility.

In late August, senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik said staff members at the plant had been facing blackmail. People working at the facility had allegedly been coerced into cooperating with Kiev and passing sensitive data or even committing terrorist acts under the threat of their relatives in Ukraine being killed.

🇺🇦🇷🇺🚨‼️ IMPORTANT: Ukranian collapse speeds up!

📋 Summary of important events of the past days:
    1) Ugledar, the toughest Ukrainian stronghold, fell
    2) The elite 72nd brigade that defended Ugledar was wiped out with 92% casualties, only 8% got out.
    3) The Ukrainian army collected all support staff (cooks, drivers) that are left over from the 72nd brigade, since the soldiers are gone, and transferred them into the assault unit. They are sent to fight now.
    4) 100 soldiers of the 123rd brigade deserted at once, they just left.
    5) The commander of the brigade shot himself, after his soldiers refused to fight and left.
    6) Zelensky lied about a system that will attack the Kremlin automatically, if he is attacked. He’s scared.

-> This is the state of the Ukrainian army, if you strip the fancy PR and Social media.

An interesting reference to 2019 here via Vasily Prozorov's Telegram account which was published in PolitNavigator on October 1st. It references a video interview (in Ukrainian).

Ukrainian diplomat: Zelensky was supposed to deliver a speech on the square in Donetsk

    Text (from Telegram summary):
In 2019, after his inauguration, Volodymyr Zelensky was allegedly prepared for a trip to Donbass with a conciliatory speech on a square in Donetsk, but he was recruited by British intelligence.

🔴This was stated on the channel of journalist Alexander Shelest by a former employee of the Ukrainian embassy in the United States, political scientist Andrei Telizhenko, who left Ukraine, a correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

🗣“And they could have had Donbass together with us, in peace. I spoke with Zelensky's team at the time, and they directly said that Zelensky was supposed to go to Donbass in the first three weeks after the inauguration, give a speech that we are one people and must move peacefully.

🗣There was such an agreement, Kolomoisky knew about it, a number of oligarchs knew about it, and there was already an agreement there that he would come in a motorcade and, together with the people of Donbass, speak out for peace in the square. Why didn't it work out? He was taken to London, and he had been preparing for war since 2019. That's why they stole on the roads, allowed them to do whatever they wanted, and he behaved like that with Trump, because he already had a protection then," Telizhenko said.

🔴Shelest was frankly stunned by what he heard.

🗣"Wait. If there were plans for Zelensky to go and speak on the square in Donetsk after being elected, then it doesn’t seem likely that he already knew then that there would be a war,” the propagandist said.

🔴Telizhenko responded that Zelensky had made an agreement with the British intelligence services in London.

🗣“And they knew after that, they sold Ukraine. Why did Kolomoisky speak out, I remember everyone criticized him in 2020, that we should abandon NATO and negotiate with Russia, an article in The New York Times. He tried to negotiate, get money from Russia so as not to start this war, offer Zelensky an alternative to what the West offered him.

🗣But, unfortunately, Zelensky fell for the fact that the West offered more or said that he would be more of a leader and have more of everything than the Russian Federation can offer. That’s why we are all suffering today,” the ex-diplomat claimed.

🗣"And the West is playing its own serious, long-term game. And they understand that they are holding on to Ukraine, and how long they will hold on depends on the US and Russia. Ukraine in this situation is only what the West tells it, unfortunately. We no longer have a voice. After the Minsk and Istanbul processes were disrupted, few will be able to trust today's government," Telizhenko added.

¨ Why did Kolomoisky speak out¨... Probably because he lived like a king with all his nazi batallions that he created and financed and controlled and alot of his wealth was tied to Ukraine.
According to wikipedia he now lives in Israel... If anybody can find out how much wealth he lost because of war or how much he has left would be interesting to know. He always seemed very power hungry so i wonder if thats why he got kicked out..

Russia ‘Moving Like a Steamroller’ Through Ukraine-Controlled Territory as US Support Dries Up

18 hours ago (extract from long article...)

Moscow is now advancing at its fastest rate in over two years, according to observers – the result of Russia’s commitment to its war of attrition and Ukrainian losses recently suffered during its ill-fated operation in the Kursk region.

Moscow continues to steadily advance through Ukraine-controlled territory as the United States turns its attention towards the Middle East, notes independent journalist Sarah Bils.

“The interesting thing about Ugledar is.. that there's nothing behind Ugledar.
There's no fortifications behind Ugledar,” noted Bils. “So what the [Russian] troops can now do is sweep to the west and then come up from the south and hit up Kurakhovo, which is not fortified on the south side. So allegedly the Ukrainians will likely have to retreat again, and that will be from Kurakhovo.”

“Kursk [region] was a failed endeavor that lost almost 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers,” Bils pointed out. “I'm having trouble understanding why they're not giving anything to Ukraine and it's not because we've run out of stuff to give to Ukraine – we can just create money. I think that the American public have sort of fallen out of love with this idea of taking down Russia via Ukraine when they are now faced with the opportunity to possibly take down Iran via Israel. It's an attention span thing. It's a priority thing. It's an election thing.”

“I think that people need to understand that Ukraine is now just one front of this now very large-scale war, which includes the Levant and parts of Africa,” Bils warned, “I would also include Africa at this point because Ukraine is there and so is Russia… The priorities now have to be shifted because now we're looking at a much wider scale war for America.”

The ongoing conflict threatens to strain the United States to the limit, observers warn, with the US now at risk of being forced to support its ally Israel on multiple fronts while it continues to ship arms to Ukraine and Taiwan.

“In Andrei Martyanov's new book he actually talks about why the ego – the inflated ego and the delusions of grandeur of the United States – will actually ultimately be its downfall,” Bils claimed. “We overestimate our capabilities and who we can feasibly take on.”

I know its an unpopular opinion in here but its still something to consider.

Stumbled upon an interesting story . Slightly offtopic ,sorry about that but i think its good to know about this one .

At the height of his popularity, when the entire country was singing his songs, Talkov published his book ‘Monologue’ in a large print run, where he exposed a Zionist conspiracy against Russia and the Russian people.

The Talmudic enemy then began to attack Igor, directly threatening him.

According to his wife, Tatiana, on either the 3rd or 4th of October, Igor Talkov received a phone call, and the conversation ended with Igor saying:

“Are you threatening me? Fine. Declaring war? I accept it. Let’s see who comes out the winner."

And just a few days later, on 6 October in St. Petersburg, in the Yubileyny Sports Palace, Igor Talkov was shot by Valery Shlyafman. The killer was warned by the Prosecutor investigator in charge of the case and quickly left for Israel.

He has never been extradited to Russia, and the case was quietly ‘shut down’.

Igor Talkov’s son had an interview in 2019 where he said the entire event surrounding his father’s death was mysterious & foul. Apparently the strange looking doctor that first ‘arrived on the scene’ failed to assist his wounded father, the singer was not taken to hospital for 40 minutes, and what’s even more bizarre was that the first local hospital refused to take the bleeding & wounded singer in.

He ended up passing away, after a clear failure by both the ‘strange doctor’ and the paramedics.

In that same interview Igor Talkov’s son called the entire event a ‘Ritual murder’ and a ‘sacrifice’, he then proceeded to quote the Talmud which proclaims that one must: “Kill the best of gentiles”.

Talkov wrote these lyrics shortly before he was killed:
    "Again same Judases appeared
    They now disguised as democrats
To shreds they Russia’s body tear
To global aims they onwards rush
    Sparing churches that they fear
They think that their aim is near,
    But very soon they’ll disappear"

Explosions are heard in Kiev and Kharkov for the second time this evening — Geraniums are working on objects in Ukrainian cities

Local resources report explosions in Kiev — the "vybukhi" in the capital of the independent country are heard for the second time this evening. Our "Geraniums" are paying an unannounced visit to Ukrainian cities — Kiev publics are writing about the work of the air defense, which is trying to shoot down air targets. The raid of Russian drones was also confirmed by the head of Kiev, Klitschko.

At the same time, the mayor of Kharkov reported a missile attack by the Russian Armed Forces; after the air raid alarm, locals wrote about several landings in the suburbs. It is also reported that the Geraniums visited Sumy. It is still unknown which objects were hit. This is already the second mass attack by the Russian Armed Forces on objects in the independent country in the last few days.

"Bring the Russians to their knees" - Slovak PM Fico accuses the West of trying to "kill the Slavs" and prolong the Ukrainian conflict

Having personally encountered the consequences of the cave-like and insane Russophobia of liberals and pro-Ukrainians, the Slovak Prime Minister was once again not afraid to publicly voice the truth that is unpleasant for the entire “world community”. Robert Fico stated that “the West wants war in Ukraine”, and the conflict is still ongoing only because the US and its European allies hope to “bring the Russians to their knees”, and therefore “support the murder of Slavs”. At the same time, Fico emphasized that the Western concept is clearly failing, and “this Russophobia does not work”.

He also announced a visit to Moscow in 2025 to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, saying he wanted to “thank the liberators” because “freedom came to Slovakia from the east.” Fico also once again spoke out sharply against Ukraine joining NATO, but said he saw nothing wrong with it joining the EU.

At the same time, it is difficult to suspect the Slovak Prime Minister of having “pro-Russian” views – he is simply defending the real interests of his country, which, like the rest of Europe, does not benefit from continuing to sponsor Kiev. In addition, Fico looks at things soberly and is aware of the real capabilities of the Ukrainian army. It’s just that, unlike Stoltenberg, the Slovak Prime Minister has the courage to tell the truth without waiting to leave his political position.

Concerning Ugledar and a Ukrainian publication confirms what has been readily apparent for some quite considerable time: the lede says it all

    Source: Slidstvo
'We Simply Had Ho One and Nothing Left to Fight With' — a Representative of the 72nd Brigade Battalion Headquarters on Leaving Vuhledar
    By: Nastya Stanko
    Published October, 2nd, 2024

After two years of defense of Vuhledar, the Ukrainian military withdrew from the city. Today, the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops officially announced this: 'Having suffered numerous losses as a result of prolonged fighting, the enemy did not give up trying to capture Vuhledar. In an attempt to take control of the town at any cost, they managed to send reserves to conduct flanking attacks that exhausted the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the enemy's actions, the city was threatened with encirclement. The Higher Command gave permission for a maneuver to withdraw units from Vuhledar in order to save personnel and military equipment, and to take up a position for further actions.'

Slidstvo.Info spoke to one of the military officers at the headquarters of one of the battalions of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which has been defending this area and Vuhledar in particular since August 2022 without rotation. The soldier's name has been changed for security reasons.

"Before the brigade was redeployed to the Donetsk region, we had a fully operational unit and staff. But over two years of fighting without rotations and rest, we turned into an incapacitated unit, the brigade was wiped out,' says Viktor, who holds a position at the headquarters of one of the battalions of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .

In the two years since we have been in the Vuhledar area, only once in my battalion have we been able to fully staff only one company — out of the entire battalion. Every three months, we received 25 new recruits, mostly old men aged 50+. They were poorly trained in the 'training schools', they did not know tactical medicine at all, nor what a grenade launcher was. There was zero fire support, so we managed to teach them what we could in a week on the spot, but understood that it was very little time.'

When asked why they failed to hold the town, which was situated on a hill and had a very favorable position for defense, and which his brigade and other units had held for two years, Viktor explains: 'And what is a dominant height now, if the enemy's reconnaissance drones are hovering over you around the clock? And they have an advantage in artillery, we had practically no artillery, it's not like it was in the winter of 23rd, when we defeated the 155th Brigade ( in February 2023, the 72nd Brigade destroyed several columns of Russian tanks and effectively rendered the 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation incapable of fighting, which attacked Pavlivka, near Vuhledar — ed. ) Then we had a lot of artillery, shoot if you want, but now we don't, they have parity in the air due to the larger. number of FPV drones. The Russians also started remotely mining all the access roads to the front line. Yes, their infantry are bums, but they have an advantage in means and numbers. We simply had no one and nothing to fight with.'

Viktor tells us how many men he has left in the battalion. Out of 350 people, there are up to 30 people left for one platoon. This includes mechanics, drivers, and recently infantrymen who held the front line — a 2-3 kilometer strip — and there were 14-18 people in the unit.

"We have repeatedly said that the unit is incapable of fighting, we were sometimes given some manpower, but they were also quickly worn out due to inadequately cut tasks, such as "restoring lost positions", and we could no longer hold the ones we were standing on at the time,' the soldier says.

When asked whether the Russian offensive on Vuhledar could have been deterred in recent months, Viktor replies that yes, 'if we had been replaced at least 2-3 months ago, but it depends on who and what quality of infantry would have been there, whether they would not have been afraid to hold the front line.'

Slidstvo.Info asked the press service of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a comment on the circumstances of their withdrawal from Vuhledar, but they have not yet officially commented on this information.

Before the full-scale invasion, about 15,000 people lived in Vuhledar. The town was destroyed in 2023. A few days before the capture of Vuhledar, there were just over 100 residents left. According to the Donetsk Military-Civil Administration, all children were evacuated.
