As confusion mounts, this was what was interpreted as a request:

Earlier on Sunday, Netanyahu addressed the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, saying that “It is time for you to withdraw UNIFIL” from areas of combat.

He threatened that refusal to evacuate the peacekeepers will endanger their lives and will turn them into “Hezbollah’s hostages.”

    This is what happened:

Hezbollah conducts deadliest attack on Israel this year

Occupying Army Radio has reported that 3 soldiers were killed and 24 others were injured, with 9 in critical condition in the Hezbollah drone attack.

As many as 50 ambulances have been dispatched to the site of the blast.

Haaretz has said the number of wounded soldiers increased to 39, 4 critically.

Reports say the recent attack has been the "deadliest drone attack" on Israel by Hezbollah over the past year

and this is the internal reaction to the public:

Israeli media: We are facing the most difficult incident since the beginning of the war

Pfft, yeah, they killed some soldiers south of Haifa, didn't reduce the city to rubble. "Difficult". Oh my.

This sounds like it makes more sense:

It is Persian culture which has the necessary prerequisites for playing a universal role. It is in Iran that Judaism as a religion is honoured the way Zoroastrianism is – because Twelver Shia Islam in Iran is understood as the “Persian carpet” who brings all cultures and civilisations together in harmony.

Hence, and that was the real meaning of President Ahmadinezhâd’s phrase of “mahv shavad” (“to be erased”), the “Zionist entity” (or as I have begun to say: the Zionist Antisemites), needs to disappear as a political entity in order to allow Jews to live their religion in freedom.

Obviously we have very little counter-point coming from Iran, which, in English, is summarized as "threat". It is also a site of Thomasene or Assyrian Christianity. So it includes those Jews who were dispersed by the Assyrian Empire (the "lost tribes"), as well as original Apostolic Christianity headquartered in the "Assyrian region". It has has both of these since they started--who is an interloping Englishman to "tell them the truth" about it??

The more we begin to understand how this makes a "tapestry" of groups that usually tend to be rivals--at the very least--would probably be beneficial.

Although it may have a sordid past and checkered history, we can say that it has not aggressively encroached beyond its borders since the 1750s, before the United States was created. That, to me, is evidence of unity and stability, something worth studying rather than attacking.

The official statements remain along the lines of "containing" Israel, although on a personal level, multiple military figures do call for its removal. So in this case, the politicians may be keeping a handle on those who would otherwise be a bit trigger-happy. But it seems that Zion has wandered into the Last Chance Saloon, warning shots are over, if it happens again there will be devastation to all of its basic needs and perhaps of the people. Remember, a minor incident for them is "difficult"; I can't imagine what would happen if something really serious happened. The northern border is not a single incident, just a fire that is unlikely to fade any time soon.

🚨⚡️Statement & details from Hezbollah regarding the Drone attack on Binyamina Military Base (Must read til the end):

"In a unique and complex operation, the Islamic Resistance's Missile Force launched dozens of Rockets towards various targets in the areas of Nahariya and Acre (north of Haifa) with the aim of distracting the Israeli air defense systems.

At the same time, the Islamic Resistance's
Air Force launched squadrons of various Drones, some of which were being used for the first time, towards various areas in Acre and Haifa.

The unique drones were able to penetrate the Israeli air defense radars without being detected and reached their target in a training camp for the elite "Golani" brigade in the Binyamina area south of the occupied city of Haifa.

They exploded in the rooms where dozens of Israeli enemy officers and soldiers were present, who were preparing to participate in the attack on Lebanon, including senior officers, resulting in the killing and wounding of dozens.

There is no reason to say Mr. Halevi was assassinated in the mess hall of a training ground.

    Perhaps we might say:

Israeli media described the army’s dining halls as “death traps” and stated, “We are facing the most challenging event since the war began.”

Really? What's so challenging? You are in a neighborhood called Bin Yamin, however, the name of this tribe has been ported to Yemen. They don't claim any territory in the neighborhood of Haifa. And yet you name it as if they are still there?

Mr. Carpet Weaver with Tulia Ackson, President of the IPU:

She agrees with him, on the level of "political pressure". This is obviously a non-militant organization and the tone of his remarks does not deal with that. She understands that they simply have "influence" where others don't:

Stressing that that IPU members are against war, she said that in order to establish peace, the countries must believe in establishing peace and stability and they have to work for it. "As parliamentary officials, we have potential that governments may not have, and we can also direct them towards establishing peace," she concluded in the meeting.

It's so surreal. As I have said, one of the few "good" events I would say I have lived through, was when the Iron Curtain went away Then, a few years down the road, we were quite stunned when all this bombing started in Yugoslavia, and of course I was disturbed because my country was behind it. And all this stuff kept happening, but, there was the presence of NATO to sort of legitimize it. You could say, oh, well, France or the UK thinks this is the right idea, and it would spread the blame around. Now we come to the case of a single country clearly doing this stuff. And it is like the same bewilderment keeps re-circulating. Like it is time to form "opinions" on genocide and how to define it.

So if the U. N. Peacekeepers are run off by the same force that has been killing their medics, and, it seems to be with impunity, this role has not been figured out particularly well. That resembles an ultimate failure.

Netanyahu calls on UN to evacuate Lebanon peacekeepers
UNIFIL forces will be in danger unless they withdraw, the Israeli prime minister has warned

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres withdraw UNIFIL peacekeepers from southern Lebanon, adding that by remaining there they are “providing a human shield to Hezbollah terrorists.”

In a Hebrew-language video message posted to social media on Sunday, Netanyahu told Guterres “it is time for you to withdraw UNIFIL from Hezbollah strongholds and from the areas of combat.”

“The IDF has repeatedly asked for this, and has been met with repeated refusals, all aimed at providing a human shield to Hezbollah terrorists,” he continued.

UNIFIL, or the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, was formed in 1978 to oversee the withdrawal of Israeli forces to below the so-called ‘blue line’, which separates Lebanon from Israel and the occupied Golan Heights. Headquartered in the town of Naqoura, UNIFIL is currently composed of around 10,000 troops from around 50 countries, who are tasked with monitoring the demilitarization of southern Lebanon between the blue line and the Litani River.

Israel maintains that UNIFIL has done nothing to prevent Hezbollah entrenching itself in this region, while preventing its own forces from responding to the threat. In the weeks since the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) crossed the blue line and entered southern Lebanon, UNIFIL has claimed that Israeli forces have repeatedly hit its bases and outposts.

Four Sri Lankan and Indonesian peacekeepers were injured on Thursday and Friday when Israeli tanks fired on their watchtowers, UNIFIL said. Another was hit by gunfire at Naqoura later on Friday, although UNIFIL said that it could not identify the origin of the fire. IDF bulldozers have demolished UNIFIL walls and bunkers, while a contingent of Irish peacekeepers found themselves surrounded by Israeli tanks earlier this week when they refused the IDF’s demand that they leave their outpost.

Switching to English, Netanyahu told Guterres to “get the UNIFIL forces out of harm’s way. It should be done right now, immediately.”

“Your refusal to evacuate the UNIFIL soldiers makes them hostages of Hezbollah,” he continued, warning that “this endangers both them and the lives of our soldiers.”

UNIFIL has refused to withdraw from its positions, and in a joint statement on Saturday, 40 countries contributing to the mission called on Israel to investigate the attacks on peacekeepers. One day earlier, the leaders of France, Italy, and Spain expressed “outrage” at the attacks, and accused Israel of violating UN Security Council resolution 1701, which states that its forces cannot operate in southern Lebanon.

Netanyahu said that Israel “regrets” injuring the peacekeepers, but added that the “simple and obvious” way to prevent further bloodshed is “just get them out of the danger zone.”

Israel escalated its military campaign against Hezbollah last month, pounding Beirut with a wave of airstrikes including one that killed the group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah. A ground invasion followed, and the death toll in Lebanon currently stands at over 2,100, according to the country’s Health Ministry. The IDF has acknowledged the deaths of two dozen of its soldiers in Lebanon, although Hezbollah insists that the true scale of Israel’s losses is far higher.

Very interesting interview by Katie Halper with Dennis Kucinich, who recalls previous discussions with Netanyahu dating back to 2002, where Netanyahu urged congress to pre-emptively attack Iraq, and even Iran. Kucinich also notes and deplores the 'messianic' overtones in congress wishing for end times and the coming of Jesus, and warns against 'self-fulfilling prophecies. The world is going through the darkest times.

(Personal note: it's surreal that 'end times' prophesies actually are a driving factor for US political decisions, I wouldn't believe this is going on if it wasn't for the fact that I've personally encountered some of these 'end-timers' enthusiastically pushing for WW3.)

At the very least those UN soldiers should be able to defend themselves properly against the Nazi IDF terrorists employed by the Zionist Antisemite Colony.

...and they think, Rizotto, that they can “play” the Zionist Antisemitic Colonists, whereas the true insight is that they are played by them, as the history of “Divine Circumcision” shows (that I have developed elsewhere) – and is confirmed by that quite revealing declaration made by a "Jewish” Passionaria – and reproduced just yesterday on PA I believe – that “there are “demonic Jews” because “Jews have made “deals” with “demonic entities”...

Yes, the end-timers will see the rapturing holograms (remember “Satan” in the pyroclastic WTC clouds? justifying the burning of Fallujah in Iraq with phosphorus?)) just before they will be be taken straight to hell by The Circumfixed AntiJesus..

Congressman Dennis Kucinich GRILLS Benjamin Netanyahu
...and they think, Rizotto, that they can “play” the Zionist Antisemitic Colonists, whereas the true insight is that they are played by them, as the history of “Divine Circumcision” shows (that I have developed elsewhere) – and is confirmed by that quite revealing declaration made by a "Jewish” Passionaria – and reproduced just yesterday on PA I believe – that “there are “demonic Jews” because “Jews have made “deals” with “demonic entities”...

Yes, the end-timers will see the rapturing holograms (remember “Satan” in the pyroclastic WTC clouds? justifying the burning of Fallujah in Iraq with phosphorus?)) just before they will be be taken straight to hell by The Circumfixed AntiJesus..

...the self-fulfilling gospel of the idiots...

...and of course I could not resist:

homOcidal ? the lapsus could not have been more apt : of course what is homicidal will necessarily also destroy man-to-man love.. the entire history of psychotic violence starts with the denial of the intrinsic value of male sexuality.. (loudly applauded by depraved feminism)..

At the very least those UN soldiers should be able to defend themselves properly against the Nazi IDF terrorists employed by the Zionist Antisemite Colony.
Some might suggest that at the very least, Israel should be kicked out of the UN.

They probably do have the authority to tell their own settlers to stay out of the way:

Head of Israeli Army’s Northern Command Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin declares closed military zone in Margaliot and Menara

Meanwhile, to 179 countries, Speaker Ghalibaf suggests removing Israel not from the UN, but from the world:

Quote Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that any type of cooperation with the criminal Zionist regime must be halted.

Addressing the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Summit and on the sidelines of an emergency meeting Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), held in Geneva on Sunday, Ghalibaf emphasized that any kind of cooperation, assistance, dialogue, political and economic project with the Zionist regime must be stopped.

“Before attending PUIC, I went to Beirut to carry with me and convey the voice of oppression and Resistance of the Lebanese people to Geneva. The Islamic Republic is ready to help create a common security understanding about this historical danger of the Zionist regime. Any kind of cooperation, aid, dialogue and political and economic project with the Zionist regime must be stopped,” he underlined.

He added, “Under the current circumstances, we have to make a decision. If we could adopt a collective decision, victory is near and God's victory is certain. If we do not succeed in this way, we will pay all a price for it.”

The Zionist regime wants to control all the infrastructures in the region and if the criminal Zionist regime fails, it destroys them completely, he continued.

“Under such circumstances, establishing unity, amity and standing together is a security requirement for all of us,” Ghalibaf maintained.

“We are ready to help in an urgent and strong effort to create a common security understanding about this historical danger, and we will not spare any effort to eliminate this risk from the Islamic Ummah,” Iran’s parliament speaker noted.

The Zionist regime is now trying to cover its unprecedented weaknesses and limited power behind aggressive gestures in order to prevent spread of unity and amity among nations, he underlined.

Ghalibaf said that topic of this summit is the use of science and innovation for a more sustainable future, but the fact is that today, instead of bringing a more peaceful future to humanity, science has been used at the service of war, mass killing of civilians, and state terrorism by the criminal Zionist regime.

“I came here directly from Beirut, among the ruins of bombings that killed civilians and displaced more than a million people. I am the voice of the oppressed and powerful people of Lebanon, the people who are oppressed and waiting for the cowardly attack of the American fighter jets at any moment, but they have not hesitated to defeat the greatest enemy of humanity with authority and historic will,” Ghalibaf underlined.

The criminal Zionist regime thought that it was able to destroy the Resistance in Lebanon after assassinating former Hezbollah Secretary General sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, but its defeats on the ground attack and the Operation Golani against the Zionist regime showed that Hezbollah still is alive and is strictly supported by the Lebanese people.

Emphasizing that Iran supports any ceasefire that is agreed by the Lebanese government, Parliament and the Resistance Movement, he noted, “To be honest with you. We are facing a criminal Zionist regime that not only has killed more than 10,000 children, but also it is proud of it. We are facing a criminal regime that does not value any legal and moral standards.”

“We are facing a criminal regime that does not shy away from burning civilians alive in the refugee camps. We are facing a regime that used to usurp Palestinian lands and destroy their houses, but now it is safely destroying cities and infrastructures with American weapons, he underlined.

If the current situation continues, the world will face a deep crisis, he said, adding that continuation of the brutal behavior of the Zionist regime will lead to flare-up of the region and the beginning of endless military and security crises.

“We will fulfill our historical duty and we are waiting to see what the world will do to defend the cause of human rights,” he added.

    U. S. is deploying a THAAD and crew to Israel.

Iran has said it would not launch a barrage if Israeli reprisal is limited to certain targets.

Otherwise, there remains a likelihood that the THAAD itself could be penetrated, or, of course, become a target on its own.

That, of course, is tandem with unseen levels of offensive weaponry:

The foreign minister accompanied the post with a chart from a recent study by Brown University’s Costs of War project, showing a historically unprecedented level of in US military aid to Israel over the past year since the Jewish State’s creation in 1948.

    No, that's not ok.

Yes.. but the thing to do would be to try and reach the Israelis who are opposed to “Zionist antisemitism”... they are still there, battered.. and probably already fighting for their lives (think of Germans protecting Jews in the late thirties, early forties)... That sort of “differentiation” could break the mad rut — but for that to take place, the Zionist Antisemitic Colony should remain within the US — and the United States should join the Iranian position..

Otherwise the “Righteous ones among the Israelis” (the Israeli Schindlers) will be served Fat Molocha Jehovah as well, without the least bit of bad conscience..

Let's see. There are a few.

The bold one, which is not legislated nor the current operational status that I know of, would be to terminate the state of Israel.

The one discussed at the meeting allows it to exist, completely independently. The meaning of a "state" ought to hover around "self-sufficient", for example if your state has rice and peanuts, it is enough to live on. But it does leave a gaping hole for Raspberry Tutti Frutti Ice Cream, and for that reason, you look outside, but you could actually survive without it. Would this "state" actually be "self-sufficient" if no one sent in ice cream or bombs? Who knows? It has never walked without a crutch. I am not sure it sounds feasible to try to get every country to stop trading and supporting it. It would actually be easier to break and collapse it.

The most moderate and more likely course of action would be ceasefire on terms that are the real terms. I think that would represent survival mode if the "state" takes a beating and dissent rises, and there are expatriations, etc., it might exhaust itself. Unfortunately it has an air force every day this goes on.

These perhaps all have the same ultimate aim, regional stability, without foreign interference, but I have certainly heard each possible way of doing it from Iranian sources.

One thing I am not aware of, because they do not border, is what has caused Iran and Israel to become enemies. Nakba or Irgun? Syria? Or because it is very British? That sounds like a bad omen. Iran having been sided with Germany? May have something to do with it.
