Lapid exposes IOF underreporting of casualties; 12,000 since Oct. 2023


Around 12,000 Israeli occupation soldiers were either injured or killed since the beginning of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which later expanded into the West Bank and along the northern front with Lebanon.

"Eleven thousand soldiers were injured and 890 others killed," Lapid told Israeli Channel 12, underscoring that the number of dead and injured soldiers in the Israeli army will continue to increase if the leadership of the current occupation government, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, "doesn’t do anything."

“It cannot be said that this didn’t happen. It cannot be ignored that 11,000 soldiers are injured and 890 others killed,” Lapid exclaimed.

According to Quds News Network, Lapid emphasized that the military conceals the true casualty numbers, as he asserted, "There are limits to how much we accept the alternative facts,” adding that the figures that he provided are "correct".

Significantly, Lapid also revealed that "if you have any doubt about these data, you should go to the hospitals: Tel HaShomer, Ichilov, Rambam."

Lapid slams coalition for promoting ultra-Orthodox draft exemption law

In a different context, Lapid slammed the government for “promoting an evasion law” while Israeli servicewomen are still being held captive in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking to reporters ahead of his Yesh Atid party’s weekly faction meeting in the Knesset, he said, “With one hand [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu sends soldiers who have to fight and survive on the battlefield for the defense of the homeland, with the other hand he bribes his coalition partners, in order to survive politically."

“There has never been [and] never will be such a disgrace in the history of Israel. Such blatant discrimination between blood and blood. This disgrace must be stopped. We will fight this disgraceful law in the name of the fighters, in the name of the reservists, in the name of the wounded and dead, in the name of those who love this country,” he stated.

Anti-government protesters stage protest in Knesset: Israeli media

Earlier today, several Israeli anti-government demonstrators held a brief sit-in in the Knesset café, wearing masks of Netanyahu and other government ministers while zip-tying themselves to chairs.

The demonstrators, wearing masks depicting MK Aryeh Deri and Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, among others, are protesting the government and demanding a captive deal.

The protesters clashed with Knesset guards as they were being removed, drawing a large crowd around them. Guards shouted at bystanders to stop filming as one resisting protester fell to the ground, taking two security officers down with him.

One woman raised her hands above her head as she was escorted away, displaying a pair of gloves stained red to symbolize blood.

This comes after the relatives of Israeli captives stopped Netanyahu on Sunday while he was giving an address in occupied al-Quds. Netanyahu stood immobile on a platform during the event, while audience members yelled and interrupted him for more than a minute.

Some protesters screamed, "Shame on you" and caused a scene, prompting Netanyahu to end his address shortly after it started.

According to Israeli media accounts, the event was initially planned without comments from family members of captives for fear of criticizing Netanyahu and his cabinet members.

Public and international pressure has mounted on the Netanyahu administration to do more to reach an agreement for the release of captives still in Gaza and end the aggression on Gaza, which many human rights organizations have warned is having catastrophic effects on the Palestinian population.

Meanwhile, Netanyahu emphasized that "Israel" is engaged in a "difficult existential war," bearing painful costs along the way.

Israeli occupation Security Minister Yoav Gallant suggested that retrieving Israeli captives from Gaza "will require painful concessions from our part," noting that "not every objective is achieved through military action, and force is not a substitute for everything."

Netanyahu and Gallant's statements were preceded by remarks from Israeli military officials, who indicated that it may be time for the Israeli government to express readiness to halt the war on Gaza in exchange for the return of the captives.

The Islamic Resistance in #Lebanon announced today that its fighters engaged in intense confrontations with Israeli occupation forces near Kfar Kila, South Lebanon, resulting in the destruction of two vehicles and multiple casualties among the Israeli soldiers. According to the Resistance, the confrontations unfolded as Israeli forces advanced toward Tal Nahas, where they were met with a well-prepared ambush.

In a statement, the Resistance detailed that their fighters launched an assault using machine guns and rockets, striking the enemy vehicles as they reached the ambush site. The Head of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, Qadura Fares, disclosed to #AlMayadeen that prominent Palestinian detainee Marwan Barghouti, along with 12 other detainees from various factions, was subjected to brutal assaults by Israeli prison forces at Megiddo Prison.

Previously, a lawyer from the Commission confirmed that during a recent visit, Barghouti reported being attacked with repressive tools and endured severe physical abuse, resulting in injuries across his body, fractured ribs, bleeding from his right ear, a wound on his arm, and persistent back pain. The attack, which took place in September, was part of a series of recurring incidents involving the Israeli prison’s special units.

Fares condemned these repeated assaults, stating, "There is no justification for these attacks, which are systematically directed at detainees."

My idea would be to port the footstep first made by some of the pioneers of the Gottingen school to their modern equivalent, Michael Hudson.

Mr. Hudson is able to speak from the relatively unique view of the one who designed Bretton Woods for David Rockefeller.

A bit later, around the 1980s, he began studying thousands of cuneiform tablets, which as he described were lying around ignored, because only those with a higher degree of "celebrity" had received attention. By the 90s he began a symposium of linguists from Harvard and some international institutions. And so this is with Akkadian, Egyptian, and so forth because he is tracing the same message everywhere, including both the Old and New Testaments. This is what I call "western", definable as a route from the Helmand Basin, Afghanistan, to Shahr i Sokta, Iran, and beyond. "Eastern" is the Dorah Pass to Imirdin, Pakistan and beyond. "North" is from the Oxus to Balkh towards Turkmenistan and eventually Siberia.

That means everything is not exclusively about Semitic languages, but, requires them as a main subject. So I think this would be a good posting area for "western languages", for material that is less directly related to the current conflict. Media reports indicated that Israeli occupation forces had withdrawn from the areas they had advanced to in various villages and towns on the southern border with occupied Palestine, especially Houla, Markaba, Mays Al-Jabal, Blida, and Odaisseh.

The Israeli occupation army withdrew its vehicles from the Lebanese areas it had entered as part of its ground offensive that began a month ago.

UNews Agency quoted media reports as saying that the Israeli army redeployed its forces inside the Israeli settlements, 5 to 10 km away from the Lebanese border, on Monday, attributing the move to fears that the resistance will target the Israeli forces with concentrated rocket barrages and combat drones, which will inflict heavy losses on them.

The Islamic Resistance drones conducted an aerial scan of the front edge areas in southern Lebanon, confirming the withdrawal of Israeli forces behind the border. The aerial photos showed the Israeli army closing some of the gaps it had opened in order to infiltrate through them into Lebanese areas.

The Zionist occupation forces failed to impose its control on the Lebanese towns it had invaded because of Hezbollah attacks on its officers, soldiers, tanks and vehicles.

Iraq Files Complaint With UN Over Violation of Its Airspace by Israeli Aircraft

DOHA (Sputnik) - Iraq has sent a formal note of protest to the UN secretary general and the UN Security Council over the violation of its airspace by Israeli planes that were heading to bomb Iran, the Iraqi government said on Monday.

"Iraq has officially sent a note of protest to the UN secretary general and Security Council condemning the flagrant violation committed by the Zionist entity against Iraq's airspace and sovereignty, as well as the use of Iraqi airspace to carry out an attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran on October 26," the government said in a statement, as quoted by the INA news agency.

Iraq does not allow its airspace or territory to be used for attacks on other countries, especially if these are neighboring countries with which Iraq has good neighborly relations and mutual interests, the statement read.

Today, most of the Hezbollah targeting has shifted from Lebanon back into Israel.

Statement from Iran's General Naghdi:


"In the coming days, you will see more crushing blows awaiting the Zionist regime and new measures and initiatives to take it by surprise," he said, adding that the Israelis "will face bigger defeats."

Naghdi also noted that the resistance in Gaza and Lebanon has incapacitated the global arrogance.

He said the form of support for Israel is now different from the one provided to it by its supporters, due to the resistance front's stronger position.

Previously, the United States and Britain only provided Israel with weapons, financial and intelligence assistance, he said.

But today, both countries send military forces and warships to the occupied territories because of the Israeli regime's failure in the face of Hamas and Hezbollah resistance commanders.


Yemen:


The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Tuesday that they had targeted the industrial zone in the occupied city of Askalan, located about 50 kilometers south of Tel Aviv. The strike was carried out using drones that infiltrated “Israel” undetected.

This strike comes as the Yemeni Military Media released footage on Sunday of a large-scale military exercise dubbed “To Make Your Faces Wretched,” which simulated the Armed Forces’ response to coordinated and non-standard hypothetical hostile attacks. The exercises showcased the YAF’s advanced capabilities, including a new naval weapon called “Al-Qare’a” – an unmanned submarine capable of creating massive explosions with enhanced stealth to target even the largest U.S. warships.
