Israeli occupation forces have committed a massacre against Palestinians while waiting for flour in southern Gaza Strip's city of Khan Younis. About 10 people were killed in this attack.

The Israeli occupation has been deliberately targeting starving Palestinian civilians while waiting for flour, killing and injuring hundreds of them.

For Palestinians, it has been clear that the occupation uses all ways to ethnic cleanse them no matter if they are starving or not.

Trump wants Gaza ceasefire ‘now’ – top senator
The US president-elect will work to hammer out a deal between Hamas and Israel, Lindsey Graham has said

US President-elect Donald Trump wants to see Israel and Hamas reach a deal for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of the remaining Israeli hostages, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told Axios in an interview published on Friday.

More than 44,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the fighting broke out between Hamas and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) more than a year ago. The IDF operation in the Palestinian enclave was triggered by a surprise Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which left around 1,200 Israelis dead. The group took more than 250 hostages, around 100 of whom are believed to still be held in Gaza.

“Trump is more determined than ever to release the hostages and supports a ceasefire that includes a hostage deal. He wants to see it happening now,” Graham told Axios. He traveled to the Middle East earlier this month and met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to Axios, Graham frequently speaks to Trump and advises him on the issues related to foreign policy and the Middle East. The senator said the president-elect wants to reach a deal on Gaza so he can focus on other issues, including the normalization of Israeli-Saudi relations and consolidating a regional coalition against Iran.

Graham expressed hope that “Trump and the [outgoing] Biden administration will work together during the transition period to release the hostages and get a ceasefire.”

Earlier this week, Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters that the armed group was ready for a ceasefire with Israel. According to Zuhri, Hamas demonstrated “high flexibility” and remains “interested in reaching an agreement that ends the war in Gaza.” He also accused Netanyahu of showing no interest in reaching a truce.

Netanyahu told Israeli Channel 14 on Thursday that he is “ready for a ceasefire at any time,” but only if West Jerusalem “can achieve the release of the hostages.” He added, however, that a ceasefire would not mean an end to the war against Hamas.

According to AFP, Hamas informed Egypt, Türkiye, and Qatar it is “ready for a ceasefire” and a “serious” prisoner exchange.

On November 27, Israel and the Lebanese-based pro-Palestinian group Hezbollah agreed to a ceasefire mediated by the US and France. The truce came into force on Wednesday morning. Both sides have since accused each other of violations.

In a fascinating and memorable short section starting at 14:00 in this new interview, Alastair Crooke shares how he was in Lebanon during the war in 2006, and was invited to meet some of the Hezbollah leaders. He said he'd never fully written about this episode previously.

In his totally unassuming and understated way, he stated how very impressed he was with the Hezbollah commanders, who were often just 21 years old but absolutely professional and extremely highly trained.

Crooke had asked them what they had studied in their military training. They told him "Philosophy". That was to prepare them for the emotional stresses of military experience, both the exultation of victory and the depths of depression when things went badly and they had lost their close friends in battle.

And when he asked them how military commanders were chosen, they told him that it was almost solely about their capacity to lead and inspire their men. (Nothing to do with academic prowess or how well they'd ranked in academy exams.)

Crooke then explained that he was sharing that 2006 personal story because now, those same young men were in their 40s and had since gained two decades of invaluable military experience. They had become a force to be reckoned with, and the Israelis had entirely underestimated them, explaining why the IDF had barely had any impact in Lebanon at all and were obliged to gladly accept the ceasefire ("more of a truce", Crooke said), with both hands.

Crooke also explained how the Hezbollah fighters were trained to operate as small, flexible autonomous units, self-sufficient for up to two years even if the central command had been completely destroyed. This military system was so different from that taught in western military academies that western analysts (including the Israelis) were very ill-equipped to counter them.

Fairly, we should ask for a refund, so they would life support the United States for seventy years, while offering restitution to Palestine and the other victims.
