It is important to understand what NGOs are because they are influencing our world in ways we have never seen before, not just in the USA but NGOs are being used by governments all over the planet.

    NGOs are responsible for:
    • Worldwide Immigration
    • Immigration at the Southern US border
    • Men in Women's Sports
    • Influencing Elections
    • Human Trafficking
    • Funding and Promoting Wars
    • Identity Politics
    • Paying for and organizing Violent Demonstrations
    • Gender Dysphoria
    • Lawfare Around the World
    • Corruption in Governments
    • Globalist Agenda being forced on society
What governments want you to believe about NGOs
NGOs are non-governmental organizations. They are civil society associations that ostensibly work independently from governments to provide and advance services in social and political fields. NGOs prefer to be seen as grassroots groups representing underprivileged and underserved populations. NGOs claim to work towards humanitarian ends, many, especially those involved in conflict zones.

    The Truth about NGOs
Although NGOs prefer to be seen as grassroots groups, representing underprivileged and underserved populations and “speaking truth to power,” nothing could be further from the truth. NGOs have large budgets and are very powerful political actors that engage in globalist activities around the world. NGO are found being supported and subsized by virtually every government. They run expensive media campaigns, pay for lawfare around the world, have massive budgets that influence politics and elections, they wield tremendous influence at the United Nations with their primary objective being Global Government. They are highly paid lobbyists that no one really understands. Their true purpose has only recently been exposed by Elon Musk and Doge.

Elon Musk said that his team has found more than 55,000 NGOs, nongovernment organizations that are funded by the government that gave money back to political candidates, mostly Democrats. What an incredible oxymoron, a non-government organization funded by the government. NGOs utilize many different tactics to delegitimize and demonize anything that is even perceived to be a threat to their progressive globalist agenda. The reason for the incredible number of illegal immigrants coming across the border during the Biden years was that hundreds of government-funded NGOs were providing legal assistance on what the immigrants should say when stopped by the Border Patrol. The NGO were advising on how to access Biden-provided flights throughout the USA; the NGOs were even providing phones and cash. These NGO's were not working for the betterment of mankind; they were making a ton of money off the government. Biden was destroying the fabric of America with taxpayer money through the NGO network.

NGO should never be funded directly or indirectly by governments. Whenever we hear about NGOs, it should raise red flags; better yet, they should be removed and never used for any purposes whatsoever.

This is a good example of what I was talking about in an earlier post about these war-mongering globalist leaders not being capable of reason or common sense.

Trudeau disrespects the Office of the US Presidency by calling Trump "Donald" twice. He also tries to rally the US people against the Trump Administration/US Government.

Perhaps Trudeau didn't get the Zelensky memo.....

Trudeau calls out Trump, quoting WSJ | ‘Donald, this is a very dumb thing to do’

If this is true, it's a chess move--an interesting one, I'd say. According to this post POTUS cannot withdraw unilaterally or by executive order from NATO--Trump surely knows and understands this--so there is no way--absolutely no chance at all--2/3rds of the Senate will vote to leave NATO. But Trump can announce in his address to Congress a directive to the effect that the US will only contribute "x" amount to NATO, proportionate to its "fair share", or alternatively, withdraw completely (placing the ball squarely in Europe's court--and ultimately in Congress's court if Europe won't comply) and then watch Congress hang itself by exposing all the war-mongering Globalists from the Nationalists who vote against the move.

One thing is for sure: every RINO that votes against such a move would surely be ousted at midterms.

If all the long term and high profile Democrat Elites get up and walk out of the speech tonight I hope the Secret Service instantly remove Trump and thoroughly search the building.

These psychopaths will sacrifice a few of their own lesser popular commies to get Trump.

This may sound far fetched and a bit off the wall, but, they are desperate and pissed and I wouldn't put anything past them.

Please allow me to add this video by ZETEO... I respect Mehdi Hasan... I know, some of you will close the eyes... in US and around the world.. there are not only right wings people... here is one video from different point of view.. Do not be angry with me... you already know that I didn't have a good opinion on Biden or Kamal... nor I have about Trump now...

    ======

“I think Americans are going to take to the streets. There's part of me that believes Trump wants Americans to take to the streets, because Trump wants to use the military.”

Ex-Republican Congressman and 'Never Trumper' Joe Walsh joins Mehdi Hasan in a two-part interview on ‘Mehdi Unfiltered.’ In Part One they discuss Donald Trump — the Democrats' failure to push back, whether the US is heading towards civil war, and Elon Musk’s ‘constitutional crisis.’

In PART TWO Mehdi and Walsh get into a HEATED debate about Israel and Gaza. Profanities were uttered, and, at one point, Walsh even grabbed Mehdi’s questions paper out of his hand! To watch it NOW at ZETEO.COM, become a paid subscriber: https://zeteo.com/p/israel-gaza-mehdi...

There is NO fentanil from Canada (read my post)?and droplets of immigrants. You are drinking the lies and war cool aid. I cannot be louder here. NO ****zING FENTANIL. It is s lie.

    Only predation from Trump-Putin.
If there is a dispute about the quantity of fentanyl seized at the Canadian border, I'm not aware of it.

As far as I know, the official quantity seized at the border in 2024, depending on the source, was anywhere between 43 - 50 pounds. (I've seen both estimates from official statistics). The former quantity was published by the U.S. Customs and Borders Protections--and reported by multiple sources--and have nothing to do with Trump or his rhetoric. But if you believe these statistics are inaccurate, or false, or some kind of agenda-laden propaganda, please elaborate. I'm interested to learn.

In sum, I'm inclined to trust the fact that fentanyl coming from Canada via China is not only a talking point from Trump, but also a reality. I'm not saying this reality is anything near the crisis the United States is seeing at its Southern border; I'm just saying it's a reality. In other words, it's not a lie. If anything, the facts underlining this reality have been confirmed by numerous leftist sources and tend to emphasize (or attempt to emphasize) just how minuscule the problem is relative to the amounts that come in through Mexico.

My point is--the "official" amount seized from the Canadian border is still enough to kill up to 11 million people.

The second point is, Canada appears to have a serious Fentanyl problem of its own. Are we really just content to turn a blind eye to this and pretend it's all lies?

The way I'm seeing it, not everything is always about Trump (or Putin).

"a lie" - really? These reports would seem to indicate otherwise.

Every year, well over 300,000 Americans DIE from fentanyl and we’ve had enough of it.

Two smugglers were caught accidentally in Alberta, Canada this week with enough fentanyl to kill over 10 million people, and then there’s this fentanyl super lab in Vancouver BC busted five weeks ago only because of American law-enforcement.

From the horses mouth, for all those naïve enough to believe that fentanyl entering the US is not coming from Canada - The RCMP confirm that there are over 4,000 separate organized crime groups operating in Canada that are manufacturing & distributing huge amounts of fentanyl.

According to the US Customs and Border Patrol, they stopped 19kg of fentanyl from entering the US through the Canadian border, while it's nothing compared to the southern border, the DEA says 1kg of fentanyl will kill 500K people.

On this fentanyl issue, as a Canadian I have two points or questions:

1- US is responsible for ensuring its OWN border security and detection of illicit substances at its border. No other country in the world can do that border security for US. It's the open border policy of the Biden administration which caused the calamitous spread of fentanyl in the US, along with millions of illegal migrants. Trump needs to fix the borders, and stop blaming the neighbours.

2- As for the underground labs producing fentanyl in Canada, we need to know how many of those labs are operated by illegal migrants, or legal immigrants. Canada is in a catastrophic housing shortage right now, much aggravated by mass immigration, mostly from India. House & rental prices have incredibly increased due to higher demand from all these newcomers. To the point that Canadians can't afford to buy houses. However, it is baffling that Indian newcomers are buying multiple houses and practically all the businesses on 'main street'. How can that be? Rumours are that drug trade is one of their sources of income. Does anyone know more about this?

    Good Points.

As I have said before in this thread, Trump says outrageous things to get better deals in negotiations.

I admit I don't quite know what the real reasons for his Canadian tariffs may be at this point, as it seems improvements in border issues are already happening - maybe he will clarify that tonight.

These links show Canada improvement efforts since he highlighted the border issues.

Canada continues to strengthen border security and immigration integrity
From: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

    News release
January 15, 2025—Ottawa – Today, the Honourable David J. McGuinty, Minister of Public Safety, and the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, provided key updates on the impacts of recent measures to reinforce the integrity of our shared border with the United-States (U.S.) and our immigration system. These ongoing efforts include Canada’s Border Plan, released in December 2024.

Together, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Public Safety, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), have taken concrete steps to minimize unnecessary border volumes, increase info-sharing, and reduce non-genuine visitors and illegal crossings at the border. These measures are already delivering results. The accompanying backgrounder outlines IRCC’s measures and key results, and provides an overview of actions taken to protect the border and prevent fraud.

Public Safety is coordinating the $1.3-billion effort to further strengthen the border, and disrupt illegal cross-border activity. In the coming weeks, the Government of Canada will further enhance real-time surveillance of Canada’s border and increase presence to support communities. We have already deployed 60 new drones along our border with the U.S., and will be deploying additional surveillance towers and purchasing new technology, such as x-rays, mobile x-rays and hand-held chemical analyzers.

Canada’s law enforcement agencies – the RCMP and the CBSA – are working together to ensure they have the officers they need in case there is a surge in the number of asylum seekers coming into Canada. Last year, the CBSA removed over 16,000 individuals from Canada. As committed to under the Border Plan, the CBSA is investing additional resources to further increase removals by another 25 percent this year. The Government of Canada has conducted joint planning sessions with all provinces and territories so that all orders of government work together to bolster border security.

Public Safety is also leading the establishment of a Joint Intelligence Group, which will expand the RCMP and the Communications Security Establishment’s intelligence collection capacity, enabling these agencies to target transnational organized crime and fentanyl trafficking more effectively. Finally, the RCMP will pull together resources from law enforcement and the financial sector and leverage existing activities, enhancing cooperation and information sharing on sophisticated money laundering schemes.

Since announcing the Border Plan, the Government of Canada has moved forward on a number of initiatives that will enhance security at the border. Securing the Canada-U.S. Border: Actions and Outcomes to Date demonstrates this progress.

    https://www.canada.ca/en/public-safe...on-system.html

    News release
    December 17, 2024 – Ottawa, Canada

Today, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Finance and Intergovernmental Affairs, along with the Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and the Honourable Ya'ara Saks, Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, released Canada’s Border Plan. Backed by an investment of $1.3 billion and built around five pillars, this plan will bolster border security, strengthen our immigration system and contribute to ensuring Canada's future prosperity.

Detecting and disrupting the fentanyl trade

The Government of Canada will increase support to law enforcement agencies in detecting, intercepting and addressing fentanyl and precursor chemicals by adding artificial intelligence and imaging tools that will further help detect illegal drugs before they enter Canada.

As well, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will train and deploy new canine teams to intercept illegal drugs. The agency currently has over 80 detector dog teams located at various ports of entry across Canada. CBSA will also deploy new chemical detection tools at high-risk ports of entry.

Health Canada will create a new Canadian Drug Profiling Centre to support 2,000 investigations a year, and expand capacity at regional labs.

By launching a new Chemical Precursor Risk Management Unit, Health Canada will be able to provide better insight into precursor chemicals and distribution channels, enhance monitoring and surveillance and enable timely law enforcement action.

In addition, Health Canada will accelerate the regulatory process for banning precursors so that border and law enforcement can take swift action to prevent their illegal importation and use.

Introducing significant new tools for law enforcement

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) will deploy a new Aerial Intelligence Task Force comprised of helicopters, drones, and mobile surveillance towers. Counter-drone technology will support RCMP officers and provide 24/7 surveillance between ports of entry.

As well, new legislative requirements proposed in the Fall Economic Statement 2024 will expressly obligate port owners and operators to provide the CBSA, free of charge, with the space and facilities needed to conduct export inspections, just as they currently do for imports.

In addition, the Government will invest to expand the RCMP and the Communications Security Establishment (CSE)’s intelligence collection capacity, enabling these agencies to target transnational organized crime and fentanyl trafficking more effectively.

The Government also proposed, in the Fall Economic Statement 2024, a set of amendments to the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLTFA), including increases to administrative and criminal penalties and other compliance tools, to ensure reporting entities under the PCMLTFA are effectively detecting, deterring, and disrupting financial crime and do not treat non-compliance as the cost of doing business.

As well, a new dedicated taskforce bringing together law enforcement and the financial sector will enhance cooperation and information sharing on sophisticated money laundering schemes.

Stronger measures against money laundering will further starve organized crime groups of profits stemming from drug and firearms trafficking, and human smuggling.

    Enhancing operational coordination

Increased information sharing between Canadian and United States (U.S.) officials on each illegal border interception enables officials to target and take stronger action against those who abuse our system, allowing for enhanced intelligence sharing in real time, monitoring of illegal migration trends and hot spots, improved operational interoperability, proactive resource planning and deployment, and ultimately, the targeting and disruption of organized crime groups facilitating illegal border crossings.

Working with provinces, territories and local law enforcement, the Government will create three regional hubs that bring federal, provincial and local law enforcement officers together to support and focus enforcement capacity, and intercept organized crime and illegal drugs faster.

The Government will also propose to the U.S. the creation of a new North American Joint Strike Force to target transnational organized crime.

    Increasing information sharing

The Government of Canada will build on our information and intelligence sharing between our federal, provincial, territorial authorities, the U.S. and other international partners.

Enhanced information sharing will allow authorities to identify, monitor and collaborate with partners to intercept high-risk individuals attempting to travel along with goods of interest attempting to move between countries.

    Minimizing unnecessary border volumes

As part of our efforts to continue to build a strong and fair immigration and asylum system, the Government of Canada will:

Implement changes to end ‘flagpoling’, which happens when a temporary resident leaves Canada and immediately returns to a port of entry to get immigration services. This practice uses significant resources at the border, distracts border officers from enforcement activities, and slows cross-border traffic.
The Government also proposed, in the Fall Economic Statement 2024, to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to secure and extend new authorities to cancel, change or suspend immigration documents and to cancel, suspend or stop accepting new applications, which would give Canada greater control over its immigration documents to protect Canadians and public resources. These authorities could also help prevent those who may pose a risk to Canada from entering the country and prevent further southbound irregular migration.
Additional measures include imposing new restrictions on countries that do not rapidly facilitate the return of their citizens in the event of fraudulent entry or a removal order.
The Safe Third Country Agreement (STCA) and its Additional Protocol remain in place. People must claim asylum in the first country they enter – be it Canada or the U.S. This agreement mitigates against unlawful entry into either country, and maintains border integrity for both countries. Claimants that do not meet an exception or exemption to the STCA will be returned to the first safe country they entered, either Canada or the U.S.

Canada and the U.S. have one of the closest and strongest relationships in the world. Our two countries will continue to work together to protect the integrity of our shared border, combatting drug trafficking and illegal migration while facilitating the lawful free flow of people, services and goods that contributes to North American prosperity.

concerning tariffs, saw this just now

    https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/ch...l-stocks-slide

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick spoke on Fox Business, offering the dovish olive branch:

"Both the Mexicans and the Canadians were on the phone with me all day today trying to show that they’ll do better, and the president’s listening, because you know he’s very, very fair and very reasonable,” Lutnick said in an interview with Fox Business.

“So I think he’s going to work something out with them — it’s not going to be a pause, none of that pause stuff, but I think he’s going to figure out: you do more and I’ll meet you in the middle some way and we’re going to probably announcing that tomorrow.”

As Bloomberg reports, Lutnick did not explicitly say what President Donald Trump was considering after imposing an across-the-board tariff on all goods from Canada and Mexico that went into effect overnight.

Lutnick said that the tariffs would likely land “somewhere in the middle” with Trump “moving with the Canadians and Mexicans, but not all the way.”

Lutnick discounted the notion that the tariffs would be fully rolled back, pointing instead to the US-Mexico-Canada trade pact negotiated during Trump’s first term.

“If you live under those rules, then the president is considering giving you relief,” Lutnick said.

“If you haven’t lived under those rules, well, then you have to pay the tariff.”

Trump has offered to stop Tariffs/reduce if

    1) China works to stop Fentanyl shipments to Mexico/Merika

china's response is - US Problem

    2) Mexico - take back your ILLEGALS you allowed to pass thru

    3) Canada - stop subsidizing Lumber/other industries then exporting cheap products to US

Sorry, but I just don't buy this "Jump!" "How high?" thing. All of these insults and irrational banter are only sowing unproductive chaos. You can't trust a thing that Canadian Liberal politicians say anyway. They said a while back they will reduce immigration to Canada, but it has only increased. Obviously, their agenda is the destruction of Canada.

If Trump really wanted to get Canadian politicians in line, all he would have to say is that the US won't do business with Canada until they hold a federal election.

Trump to Announce the US Leaving NATO. (Unconfirmed as yet)

    https://x.com/defense_civil25/status...17767853957342
I wouldn't get your hopes up; I doubt that Trump will pull the USA out of NATO, but I do think he will put NATO on notice to pay their fair share. I think that it is also unlikely but possible that Trump will say that Article 5 of the NATO treaty is no longer valid. "The idea behind it was this...... all for one and one for all belief – and that's been broken by the Europeans. America has been doing the heavy lifting in terms of personnel and financial resources for a long time. Most countries have never contributed the agreed-upon share, and other countries have only just started to put in the required 2.5% of GDP. For instance, the USA pays over $1 billion while Germany (2nd largest contributor) puts in just $68 million. I also think he will start pulling Troops out of Germany. The only question is how many and when. After all, the UK pulled all its troops out of Germany to save money back in 2015. There is no reason that the USA should bear the brunt of being the only peacekeeping force left in Germany.

Trump views the world (not always but for the most part) through an economic lens, so we can expect him to announce new investments in the USA.

I will not argue with stupidity. You talk in doses while we talk in weight. Of course a single grain can kill. How many grains in an ounce? But the sale is in weight, and there is almost nothing frim Canada. Trump confuses you, all the time. A recurrent tactic of sociopaths.

Also, this opioid crisis has been launched by an all American pharma selling opioids, are you forgetting? That pharma supported by your labs and your FDA snd most probably your CIA.

Support your Putin managed president, gosh Putin is bright creating division, go on. Or is it higher ups to which Trump complies in exchange to power thirst satisfaction and billions

Do you really mean that? I mean, I read that and it is several blanket statements in basically one sentence. It appears emotionally charged rather than logically thought out. Why take your ball and go home? People disagree all the time.

Based on some of the discourse to-day, I asked myself the question - Is Canada a 'good friend' to the u.s. and I could not readily answer the question. I mean Canada seems more in tune with the Continent than with its close neighbor.

It made me think of a story though. I was a machinist working for a company that made parts for companies and some of them left the area to go to Canada because they thought they would improve their margins there. This one company was in the states over 5o years. They were a commercial bakery. Well, we found out after they moved all the way up there to Canada, they had to change their recipes because the law in Canada prohibited certain ingredients. Basically, they didn't do their due diligence and on top of it, our local area lost an iconic business where hundreds of people lost their jobs. One man was one month shy of 5o years with the company and they left before he hit his milestone. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence.

In america, we have a ridiculous situation with our staunch two-party system. We have to pick the lessor of two evils and the person more likely to keep its promises. This is not an easy task especially since the rotten part of our government is decades old. Trump does some weird sh!t and says some strange things but he cannot be expected to be perfect and I think he was the better choice. I didn't vote because I had just returned to america after having been gone for over 6 years. I begrudgingly voted for him in 2o16 because Hillary was no where near the quality of character for the first woman president in my mind. But after seeing what is going on, america will be far better off considering this new team in the Executive. I'm not sorry that the emphasis is on america and its problems vice the world and its problems. But I often write about a need for a more isolated america, than a more involved one.

But I do think dissenting views are needed and I think you have a point regarding the drug problems.

Speaking as an American , People want change. Change from what? Corruption and a rigged game, lying deceiving and evil.
Yet it's all rigged before we as souls arrived here. But not many can handle that concept.

People want change but when it arrives, they dont want discomfort. They want a comfortable change that works with thier ideals.
Ok I dont know how to change your mind, but recently I felt the same way. I thought of leaving PA as well . I even mentioned to Bill why, So if you stay I will stay. But if you leave, you wont know how to check if I stayed or not! lol
