Fact is, the ultimate goal of the USA-Israel axis in attacking Iran is regime change. Iran knows very well that the nuclear and missile 'negotiations' are just pretext for the Trump gang to stage grievances against Iran, while moving their military closer to Iran. I think that Iran continues to hold these 'talks' only to show the world that they're amenable to reason. And in a way, these 'negotiations' also show the world that the Trump gang isn't reasonable as they continually shift the goal posts.

I take comfort in the stance that I took when the Palestinians broke out of their prison and attacked Iaraeli settlements and army bases: the violence was predictable, understandable, inevitable, avoidable, but not justified. Israel can avoid its destruction by changing its behaviour. If the countries it attacks grow in strength and eventually destroy Israel as a form of defence, that will be predictable, understandable, inevitable, avoidable, but the violence will not be justified. The problem is that countries use propaganda to 'justify' violence all the time, and this has led to very warped thinking. So, I avoid the trap of justification. Israel has been told repeatedly, over many decades, that its violent behaviour is unacceptable, and now it has become a threat to all humanity. Simple self defence was not sufficient for Gaza, so removal of the threat by destroying the source of evil is going to be a very human choice, as it was with Nazi Germany (and Rwanda and Cambodia).

The world seems to have lost interest in Gaza, as Trump and his co-conspirators counted on happening. But, the evil flourishes in Israel. They are now going to execute Palestinians being held in captivity in Israel.

One point I would debate with Scott Ritter above, is whether Iran is considered 'evil' by US officials, i.e. claiming that the theocratic regime is harming the Iranian people.

I personally don't think US officials view Iran as 'evil'. The proof being that USA-Israel went to a lot of trouble to insert Mossad-CIA agent provocateurs into the recent Iranian protests. It is the Mossad-CIA fake 'protesters' who killed the most Iranians during these recent protests, i.e. most of the 3,000 (or so) people who were killed. It's probably true that Iran executed as many of these foreign intel agents as they could, and who could blame Iran officials for that.

Western media's claim that 'tens of thousands' of Iranians were killed during those protests is just disinformation.

On the other hand, how does it feel to be living in Iran right now, knowing that some zionists obsess about bombing you to shreds...

My local 'christian zionists' keep insisting that the Iranian regime oppression of women, that women are forced to wear full body veil, etc. Since I only expect disinformation from the part of zionists, I checked recent online videos of everyday life in Iran. Here's one such video below (there are many more). Fast forward to the market place where you can see that many younger women don't cover their hair at all (although it's winter there), most women only wear a loose head scarf, only a few older women wear the full body 'chador'. Seems to be a generational thing. These people are just going about their everyday business, and don't appear terribly oppressed to me.

I, personally, had to grow up around this "bomb Iran" rhetoric, Americans have been salivating about it for generations. When I say Americans, I mean Republicans. I'm more than tired of this dumb oafish nonsense. Of course, I don't know for sure that they will really do anything. Recently they made a wasteful show, and there are unexploded deep-penetration bombs lying around those sites, which do Iran no good to reverse-engineer, since they are too heavy to be used. It's just millions of dollars of expertise buried in the dirt.

The move would also get rid of the American President and his supporters, although they are basically already gone.

Of course, I hold the opposite view, whatever it takes to dismantle Israel is fine with me. Since there is effectively zero action by world bodies or relevant countries on this, there aren't any known options other than Iranian missile power. So, perhaps this will run backwards, sort of like Ukraine, but faster. Again the major difference is that Iran has openly stated they will use pre-emptive strikes, rather than waiting for someone else to go first. So far that means the "armada" is seen as "theater" rather than a credible threat.

The Middle East is not part of the United States and there is no excuse for us to have all that military build-up there (like most other places).

I can't afford Uncle Scam's bombs and endless wars, he needs his head wrapped in duct tape. Give this one back to the UK, it's their project, and I think they have at least realized that taking command of the world is not feasible.

It's technically correct, since "tyrant" means "came to power outside the official means", i. e., a revolution, just like George Washington was a tyrant.

In colloquial usage, it's supposed to mean "despotic", "repressive", etc., but it does not. It primarily refers to revolutionaries, although it could work in monarchy by assassinating an heir. It's just a method that says nothing as to the character of the person who takes office.

The opposite principle, that because there was a vote, whatever happens is right, good, and true, is equally false.

There isn't much happening here besides an attempt to get a replay of British Petroleum, i. e. western control of Iran's energy assets. Governments are "evil" when they interfere with the rape of their constituency. Otherwise, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, etc., are not much different in character, perhaps worse, than Iran; Israel is no exception, if adjusted slightly differently than its neighbors.

Being that there actually are legitimate criticisms about Iran, and, it's not what the Americans say, the point is missed. They have no clue. Nothing is processed above a "name-calling" level. I wouldn't want them actually getting involved.

I'm pro-peace and anti-war. But I have to say that, when Israel attacks Iran, I really hope that Iran will retaliate by obliterating Israel off the map.

This statement makes no sense whatsoever. You can not be pro-peace and anti-war and express a desire for violent retaliation. Wishing for the obliteration of a nation, any nation, is absolutely promoting violence and hatred.

You cannot say I want the destruction of the Jews, Americans, Russians, Palestinians, Canadians (fill in the blank) because the world will be a better place. We must view the world on a much more boader and spiritual level if mankind is going to survive.

The Israel-USA axis of terrorism has been attacking Iran for years, remember? Because of Israel's expansion dreams. Nuclear-armed Israel is hellbent on destroying Iran solely for reasons of geopolitical control of the region, control of trade routes and resources. Iran certainly has the right to defend itself, and we're at the point that in order to successfully defend itself against Israel, Iran has to go all out against Israel's military capabilities & infrastructure.

Please answer honestly this question: Do you think the allies were justified in destroying Germany to end WW2? Or should everyone have allowed Germany to bomb and invade them? Many anti-war debates have taken place on this issue. I'd like to hear from members of this forum. Considering that Israel has become an even more malignant & widespread threat than Germany ever was in 1939.

I totally get it. I feel the same, how many times have we tried to negotiate with Israel to end this brutality and still they insist on warfare and furthering their views on others. Most people are just exhausted with this, so ultimately you ask yourself how can we stop this mindless propaganda and endless killing. One point I would debate with Scott Ritter above, is whether Iran is considered 'evil' by US officials, i.e. claiming that the theocratic regime is harming the Iranian people.

I personally don't think US officials view Iran as 'evil'. The proof being that USA-Israel went to a lot of trouble to insert Mossad-CIA agent provocateurs into the recent Iranian protests. It is the Mossad-CIA fake 'protesters' who killed the most Iranians during these recent protests, i.e. most of the 3,000 (or so) people who were killed. It's probably true that Iran executed as many of these foreign intel agents as they could, and who could blame Iran officials for that.

Western media's claim that 'tens of thousands' of Iranians were killed during those protests is just disinformation.

On the other hand, how does it feel to be living in Iran right now, knowing that some zionists obsess about bombing you to shreds...

My local 'christian zionists' keep insisting that the Iranian regime oppression of women, that women are forced to wear full body veil, etc. Since I only expect disinformation from the part of zionists, I checked recent online videos of everyday life in Iran. Here's one such video below (there are many more). Fast forward to the market place where you can see that many younger women don't cover their hair at all (although it's winter there), most women only wear a loose head scarf, only a few older women wear the full body 'chador'. Seems to be a generational thing. These people are just going about their everyday business, and don't appear terribly oppressed to me.

I watched this video - thanks for posting Rizotto - and like another on this thread I was struck again by the beautiful artwork in the mosques which are hundreds of years old, the destruction of which would be a great loss to Iran's history, not to mention innocent people going about their business just like you and me. Yes, no doubt there are awful things happening there, just as in other countries all over the world, and so I remain bewildered at the justification behind the west to subjugate and destroy that which they cannot control and corrupt.

For the first point, no.

The German military was defeated by the Soviet Union.

Allied air forces destroyed infrastructure, causing mass collateral damage, which is the main thing that led to adverse conditions in the concentration camps. But then they stole credit for everything, and, you know the rest...or I, at least, think the Holocaust was dramatically exaggerated and used as a political tool, to legitimize a Haganah and Irgun invasion of Palestinian territories.

Israel is not a normal "country", but a legally-sanctioned form of violence. That's all it is. It uses human cattle for window-dressing unfortunately. so its army is kind of masqueraded behind this big sympathy ploy.

The Hezbollah strategy is that they will simply decide to leave. This, of course, requires an extended time period, with deterioration as an impulse for leaving. In essence, they are not interested in a full-scale conflict, or taking Israeli territory, they literally just want them to go away.

The Iranian strategy would solve it quickly.

The west, or particularly America, is Stupid, which means they are unable to do anything but repeat the same claims and demands. You can't talk to it.

I've dealt with these personalities. It's like a stone.


The priority for me is not found in those issues of war and peace, but, rather, what America does beyond its own territory. I think we have the Mid-terms and the next election cycle to either break the mold, or effectively lose to these "takeover" forces in all their forms. I read the last Continuing Resolution and we are still treating Israel like a fine dessert, sprinkling cocoa dust over it. Therefor we are going to have to make Zionism a domestic issue and purge it.

It's a lot like what Russia did by purging "Atlanticists", except it's not a Fifth Column, it's the Establishment.

It won't listen, but it can be outnumbered.
