We have reached a stage where the enablers must stop this insanity to save the Israeli people. Perhaps I am being too optimistic in believing that they can be rehabilitated as humans? And what punishment for the genocidal political maniacs? Will the West ever allow a court hold them to account?

And what about the enablers outside Israel, both political and the wealthy class?

Israelis are not doing what they are doing because they are Jewish or because of the Holocaust or even because they are Zionists ... they are doing it because they are human. History (recent and distant past) shows us that. The international organizations that were supposed to understand this, recognise the signs, raise the alert, do something have failed ... too little too late ... and the genocide has spread to Lebanon. It is almost two years since South Africa went to the ICJ to do exactly that ... raise the alarm and stop the genocide, but the genocide not only continues but governments in the UK, US and elsewhere are doubling down and turning on their own people who are now asking questions (better late than never?).

May I add that I think Abby is mistaken. A lot of people do not care and will do nothing. And there are even those who will continue to actively support Israel.

It's hard to argue against those who seriously contend that the best solution for Israel (and the Palestinians) is to relocate their entire country to somewhere like Patagonia where they can do no harm to anyone around them.

What about the approximately four million people who live in Patagonia, the southern tip of South America, across the Strait of Magellan from Antarctica?

If I were a sheep farmer in Patagonia, I doubt I would welcome ten million forced immigrants from Israel, forced to move to Patagonia because they had become too traumatized to be allowed to continue living in the Middle East.

Even the sheep, and (near to my heart, the cows) of Patagonia might not welcome that influx.

(But the Israeli's who have been following Ben Davidson might privately accept the move, knowing that Patagonia will become prime equatorial land, in the new ice age after the earth crust moves, with some fine 3000 to 4000 meter peaks in the Andes down there, where one might better ride out the storm, with a few of one's herds.)

I have more of a Ukrainian outlook: dis-arm and de-nazify it.

Remove the political apparatus, so there's no power. No international support and no daily Hasbara.

Make it one Palestine where they have no special privileges.

Unfortunately, we're stuck on step one, ending support. The UK might not import certain West Bank products? Too bland. Pull the plug and it will just vanish. Quite possibly while being harassed by Resistance militaries. But I would hesitate to say either genocide or mass relocation is a necessary outcome.

Dismantling the regime, the country, is.
