Here and Now...What's Happening?

I was always confused about the term "Troll" untill finnally someone explained it to me, and all was well. That is untill it was slung willy nilly, in the direction of my dear freind, anotherbob, and now I am quite confused again. Seems now to me, that somebody, ain't too good at Modulating, when they Modulate someone out of existance for trying to support someones views. But then, what else makes anymore sense in this senseless world. Just keep Modulatin willy nilly as the mood swings you, and keep the rules ever vague, so we can all share in your confussion.

Trolling can be done consciously or unconsciously. I know I have done it myself.
As forum experience grows, so does the self policing grow alongside.
Always checking one's actions in a larger context will prevent becoming labeled as a troll.

If such labeling happens anyway, then be open to the needs of those who had such an impression.
Ask why. Dialogue, but as gently as possibly.
While there is still force, there is evidence of ego,
and the desire to win at all cost.
To elevate oneself above the other for own's own sake is a sign of underlying insecurity.

Here and Now - I sense myself coming back in. I was in the strangest dream (but it was not a physical experience and was more about "there and then"). Prior to the dream I was... wow, I don't know. So I now go to the video camera. (See, I video myself each night when I sleep so that just in case I experience an abduction, I might capture it on tape - so far no luck and its been filmed now for over 2 months). I check the brain wave history log. I knew it - a whole stretch of three hours in a pure Delta wave state. I am certain that's when they get me. OK, satisfied I am ok, I go to the coffee machine and depress the on button and patiently begin my most horrid moments of each and every day - the in between stage between my waking state and that kick in from the first full cup of coffee.

The gentle, cool Costa Rican breeze wades through my bedroom. The chirps begin. An annoying bus's deceleration sounds like a low rumbling fart... "They gotta make a law against those things - make em pass some sort of noise test or stay off the road!" Ooops, did I make a mistake here? This is my first post in this thread and I am unsure if I am able to post about a thought.

Back to the physical. OK... slowly the coffee begins to kick in. I feel that tummy rumble that let's me know other physical events may soon occur. I hear a cricket. Light has overtaken darkness. Shower time soon.

Its nice this physical world. I am glad I get to experience it. Love to All Chester

Since you ask, I’ll let you into a little secret (don’t tell anyone ) In the last millennium I used to do the Guardian cryptic crossword now and again. One of the compilers was called Araucaria. When I joined the forum, I thought he’d have been feeding the daisies for quite some time, but shortly afterwards I synchronistically discovered he had just turned 90 and was still going strong!

One of my reasons for choosing the name was that he had a colleague I was not so keen on, called… Atticus. He has another called Paul, but this was when the Pythonic Cow was still coming out of the closet I also love trees, and I think the monkey puzzle is a neat metaphor for what is going on here. At some stage, we are going to solve the hundredth monkey puzzle

Another clarification. There is no "out of existence".
This is just a thread on an Internet forum that has thousands of threads,
plus if taking into consideration that anyone can start their own threads we are talking infinite potential.
As the thread owner I can close the thread at any time. This gives me power over this particular domain.
If anyone thinks that I am abusing that power that is fine by me,
but maybe they have not yet looked enough at their own leadership potential and are now at the early stages of establishing their own Internet presence.
Just look at another bob's signature...with six URLs there he is indicating that he is ready.
But not on my turf, ok?

After viewing several invites from Ulli to check out this thread lately, I decided to do so and it says in the op, "our village is your village". We are all members of this forum so the whole forum is a village from a certain point of view. I have kept up to some degree with this thread although I am not one to share my personal problems nor feel the need to post mundane stuff just to post because I can. It now appears that because I have not previously posted, it sure looks like whatever I have to say could, can, will be considered as trolling. That's a real shame if it has to be that way.

I have seen and read most of the posts (as we all were invited to do so). The only thing I can say now is that when Anotherbob and Jenci can be truly accused with any honesty about being trolls, well this thread is not a place for me or anything I have to say. So no worries about me Ulli as I have banned myself from your threads, say whatever you will.

A Simple Human just left this morning. I think I’ll change my name. After checking out that crossword puzzle three separate times, I’m aware of my heart pounding and fear of failure feelings that chases me less these days.

I’ve not been here along enough to get this: “Atticus. He has another called Paul, but this was when the Pythonic Cow was still coming out of the closet...” I did check out the thread once, but it’s been awhile.

But I do like trees, that you know. And...I keep on keeping because I believe in the 100th monkey, too.

On another note, these last several days, have been awkward ones. I’m sleeping a lot, my guess is to hide. I’m sadden about the goings on in Here and Now. I understand that it’s important to air things out. Allow things to naturally unfold. If pushed through artificially, then it gets swept into dark places.

When my sibling’s marriage ended, I still loved her spouse. I didn’t consider him an “X”. He’s part of my family. I was ostracized, left out of holiday dinners for not taking sides, even though I never saw the “X” again. It was only after she was involved with someone else, the invitation was extended. I graciously declined.

I choose Love.

I’m looking forward for this awkwardness to pass, cuz all this sleep is giving me a flat head on the right side and a handprint tattooed on my cheek.

That is ok. At least you made your decision based on that observation. I don't normally invite people to the village, I think at the time you were with Nanoo whom I love dearly and it was him I was mainly addressing.
That was before the problem arose, which I am really sorry about now....but I wouldn't ask you to look at the very complex details since that might be too much with your time schedule.
Only you can make that judgement. Bob was asked to leave after he upset several others here, not only me.
But then this always happens...no one wants to look at the details,
and another bob doesn't want to look at another bob...nor reach out to those he has upset.
The chances were there. He ignored them. This makes him an unusual case.

Wonderful post, and thank you. All conflict is tough. But for some it is their element, and they seek it. They push until they have a huge bar brawl and the fur is flying. You know and I know that I have invested lots of energy into staying clear of conflict. Into finding solutions as so as things became unstable.
When this forum became too female oriented with housewife talk I lost some of the more entertaining males. I let them go, with a heavy heart, so as not to make too heavy an adjustment.
Now that it came to another issue which I did respond to in a more direct manner, due to the inappropriate timing of the issue, we ended up with the biggest drama in the history of the Village.
What surprised me was that the annoyance expressed was greatest from the quarters of the people with the strong spiritual slant to their messages, which were never offered as here is what I am contemplating, but presented as gospel. And that is totally against forum rules.
If I get pushed any further with this, my perceived injustice, the evidence may be presented, in small clear plastic bags, one sentence at a time, in front of the open forum.
This will not be done in this thread, however.
A new thread will be opened in such an event. Analyzing past posts gets really boring but I will not hesitate to do it, if this matter is not allowed to be laid to rest. meanwhile, please everyone do your homework, and come out of unity and 5 th dimension mode and look at the facts. The posts are there as a record.

Sorry, have I been a little cryptic? Atticus was "Charles"'s screen name on the forum around the time I joined. As for mod Paul, you need to check out his signature

I don't think you have cryptic crosswords in the USA. The clues are based on ambiguities, typically only part will be the definition (you have to work out which part) and the rest will be instructions on how to find the solution.

For example, Friday's first clue was a word of nine letters: "Everyone's in debt when there's a female around when there's witches around!" Everyone's in debt is "all owe"; a female is "hen"; put "hen" around "all owe" and you get Halloween, defined as "when there's witches around. That one is not too difficult because the words all mean what they seem to mean, which is not always the case. For instance, "not just brunette?" (6) where "not just" means unjust i.e. unfair which is a fun definition of brunette.

It takes a peculiar turn of mind to tease out these miniature false flags.

I would have continued on never posting and only reading in this thread also, until I see that two of the most awesome people on the forum, Jenci and Bob, have been labeled "trolls". Not only is this laughable but it points out who feels threatened and is small enough to "label" someone so sharing and giving as Bob and Jenci. I guess if Bob and Jenci are trolls then I like and admire trolls. Looks to me like Jenci's excellent post got too many thanks and someone got their panties in a bunch. Bob, on the other hand, is a frigging SAINT. Anyone labeling him a troll obviously has their head stuck up where the sun don't shine. Throwing this label at two excellent forum members is disgusting.

Here and now?

Today is my Jaedyn's 1st birthday. This morning we went out for our run and as we walked to the forest, still on the village streets, the cries of bluejays caught our attention. I looked up at the house close to where the dram was and saw a crow observing silently. We passed a high lilac bush within which the bluejays were going crazy and beneath it,was a small hawk with his claws sunk into the body of a baby bluejay. As I looked at it the hawk gazed directly back at me, without flinching or moving.

Sira was upset. Wanted to save the baby bird. But I saw that hawk wasnt going to give up its prize. And why should it? Taking that bird from it would have been taking food out of its mouth. And perhaps its own children.

I walked on with the boy. Sira went back, the guy who runs the burger joint across the street walked over and they were watching and talking, I guess, trying to figure out what to do. When the guy walked back across the street, he repeated what I had said to Sira, its natures way, essentially. When she caught up with us, she was crying.

My thought? What a way to start the boys b-day. WCBD, got any info on hawks?

Siras seen an albino one before as well as had other experiences with them.

Ulli, I love you, you know that. I love AB and Jenci too.

Thats all I have to say about that.

also, note I do not have any such attachments to my signature. No links, which can be IP and data gathering/mining, even if it is unintentional. This is specifically why we are to not have links in our signatures that take members and viewers out of this from, from this forum as an origin point.

‘Here and Now’ is a metaphor for people choosing not to stay here or in the ‘Land of Avalon’. When seen from the greater perspective, it’s a good sign.

I’m one of the believers that people came to Mother Earth to play their unique parts. Loss at all levels will increase. Many leave through death (contracts before birth), relationships of all kinds end. All this is in preparation of the evolutionary change for Mother Earth and her children.

More awareness makes for a smoother transition.
