Ground seasalt on half an avocado still in the shell and scoop fruit-meat out with a spoon.
My favorite way of eating it. Yum.
When I was a child I picked my own citrus fruits and avocados from the local groves. Climed the trees with my own brown paper bag filled it up and carefully climed down. In the fall I went up to the mountains and picked my own apples and had fresh apple cider from the press.
Yes, I took a couple of gallons and let them set to ferment or buried them in the ground for 3 to 6 mos, strained it out and shared the hard cider with my friends.
When I was 9 I had a Haas avocado tree, my very own garden with strawberries, carrots, radishes, tomatoes and corn. I always had trouble getting the corn to grow though.
