Who said drone technology was evil? It depends on how you use it. How about reforestation on an industrial scale (a billion trees a year)?

Been listening to this, also showing artworks by Frank Bowling:

    Advice from this old crone
If you have still not found your true love by now try changing course.
I lived in England once, and do understand it's spirit and fascination with the frivolous.
It may not deliver what it promises.
Even Huffpost can be wrong at times.
    Let's try and define liberation.

Ulli, I understand that you and others care, but this is new to me...(sharing these kind of photos, first time ever was a few weeks ago, in private with a friend) the old way was not working...too much of a good girl, not sexually confident or empowered enough...granted, it's not the best place to post these photos in this thread...and I don't want anyone to be offended...

I think that is a good idea that you have for another thread, to not only define liberation, but to just have an open sharing and discussion on what it means, and it's effects on growth and healing...(and vice versa)...

Those comments are sooooo interesting. The perception of liberation in America, and in the province of Québec, is soooo different from what it is in Europe.

Here, women will dress as they please, but often, not to please others, just to please oneself. You will rarely see adverts with nude women, because it is considered as using the women body for commercial purpose, therefore women's exploitation, and it does not sell.

Although you have some women that are quite naked on the web and you have all those web sex skypes with Young women playing the web prostitutes, America at large is quite conservative when it comes to women dresses, for many reasons, down South in the US they are religious conservatism, up north in the US and Canada, it is simply seen as not necessary or too frivolous when women dress down a lot. In Québec, it is seen as women falling for the exploitation schèmes.

When I go in Europe, mainly in France, I am always shocked at the way advertising are using women's body, with women thinking this is women liberation. Wow, how much this is a misperception in my views. And my daughter's views as well.

I do not know how it is perceived in an international forum, but I bet that many men are just salivating thinking they are with a "blonde" (no head just body).

Reminds me of a story: I was 20, in Toronto, with a group of American Indians, in a bar (not starting quite right lol). A guy was trying to flirt me, an English Canadian, and told me "French Canadian are beautiful from the toes to the neck" - I did have a quite pretty face. I was so insulted, and the Natives were too, told me that they thought only Indians were segregated that way, never though it would happen to a white. And then on, they were protective of me and befriending me. Against the bad Englishes lol

    --------------

too late Natalia, just defined liberation above lolllllllll. Québec is certainly one of the few places in the world where women are truly free and more empowered than anywhere else I have seen on the planet. It is truly comfortable to be a woman here. Albeit it is god dam cold!

With respect and not wanting to argue or anything, I have noticed, that others can post (and have) photos or art of women who are dressed sexily, in this thread...like the one that Ulli posted a few months ago on here, of a woman in her stockings, sexy underwear, and corset - no one seemed to have a problem with it and they felt ok to like it...and it was even more revealing than mine (which just showed a bit of boob in my night dress, ok, they are a bit more than a bit). So is it that the main difference is that people are wanting to protect me as a regular and well known member?

I will remove my photos in a short while, out of respect.

For sheer crassness, that has to take the biscuit. But it's not so muchcrass as plain dumb: I have never seen anyone whose most remarkable/attractive/beautiful... feature was not their face.

It takes a lot more than these photos of yours to offend me.
What troubles me is that you don't seem to understand what Avalon is about.
In essence we are here because of what has been revealed by whistleblowers about a dark agenda of a hidden elite, and which wants to derail humanity's spiritual journey.
This is the chief common denominator around here.
The Here and Now thread is basically a tool for a community consciousness to develop, one that can serve individuals as a protective shield against the onslaught of the forces of darkness.
And since Bill started Project Avalon there have been many dramas played out around here, with shills and distractors appearing on this forum purely to hinder these inquiries and subsequent resolutions.
Not saying that you are a shill, but your conduct might look suspicious to some.

The overall direction towards true liberty is not a denial of sexuality, but using it in appropriate context, I.E. in private, in a loving relationship. Sexuality is the door through which the next generation enters our world, and therefore is a tool for regenerating life.
But once that life is here it needs to find more ways of self expression than just more of the same.

Women lure men into their private domain by triggering their reproduction hormones. Not all are lured, however. Some learn early to dump their prey after a one-night stand, and leave a trail of broken hearts.
While others know themselves and the bigger picture, and are thus more discerning, and can see the difference between the divine feminine and the half an orange feminine.
While others still choose to hang out with their own gender, where they don't have to worry about female neurosis.

Meanwhile in their desperation for attention women become better and better at luring their men, backed up by a massive advertising and media machine.
One only needs to look at the growth of cosmetic surgery over the last few decades...
    Interesting times.
Then those needy females who became successful in using their sexuality to keep their man trapped long-term later disappoint them by blowing their hard-earned money on endless shopping sprees and a brood of kids they never asked for.

Ok, I admit this is painting a bleak picture of the gender game, but it is a reality for which there is endless evidence out there, if one is only willing to look.

On the other hand, if you were to dedicate your life to conflict resolution, arts, sciences, education, and were to work towards similar idealistic goals, you will find many good men standing in line for your attention, like several young females I used to know. Personally, once I found my own calling I had a hard time getting away from all the guys who were chasing me.
I'm just so glad my female looks are fading now, because it means I no longer have to suffer cat-calls.

Sometimes I don't make myself very clear, especially when it comes to using my quirky humor.
When I posted that sexy picture a few months ago I was actually doing so tongue in cheek, to hint-hint at you,
sending you a message about the cheesiness of such stuff. But obviously, that went right over your head....
From here on I will ignore your apparent age and maturity, and remember that expecting people to behave according to their age is a bit unfair. I know some guys in their sixties who still behave like 13 year old boys. I do have a hard time with them, too. Which goes to show how much I'm still prey to passing judgments.
I'm sorry if I haven't addressed your real needs, coming from such (unfair) expectations.
Maybe if I knew your full history I would be more understanding.

Well this (to me) is a very interesting subject, indeed.

Women who sometimes wear sexy clothes can vary greatly in how they are with men, at least in some ways...most of the time I don't wear sexy clothes...sometimes I do...

I'm not into trapping men (I know you was speaking in general), but yes, sometimes I do like to feel and be told that I am attractive...I have missed out in my life (due to shyness, depression, etc) and feel like I am catching up in a certain way...bit of a "late bloomer"...

I was sexually assaulted once (not raped) and I was wearing plane trousers, plane top, and trainers, without any make up, and not out drinking or anything...and it was by a man who I trusted who was married and old enough to be my father (and a "Buddhist"...)...I never flirted with him, was just friendly...for a few years, it effected me in the way that I didn't wear sexy-ish clothes at all, or hardly ever any make up (which I only occasionally wear anyway)...so when you have experienced that, as quite a shy and quiet woman, not wearing anything that is at all sexy...and that happens...

Every woman has her own path of healing...it's something that I feel very strongly about...not just for me but for women in general...

Ok, posting those pics here was a mistake...(but I have posted them on my face book wall with friends, and that was not a mistake), thank you to the more mature women for pointed it out, without putting me down. *I'm going though something, that is out of character*.

As for shills, well some can think that about me if they want, I am interested and care about some of the more political issues in this world (more because they hurt others and I do not want that) and occasionally post about it (especially about mental health and psychiatry...)...but I also am more focused on love and healing, and acceptance of things that I feel are not "bad" (but ok, there is a time and a place...)...itis true that some aspects of that do not fit on Avalon, and sometimes I feel not much of a balance here in certain ways...there are health and healing sections here, as well as the ones about the dark side of this world (which also can come into health and healing).

At times I see a lot of one thing on PA and want to balance it out just a little, hence my "remember the good things, thread"...and ones to do with love and femininity...yes Project Avalon isn't about that, but if done in the right place in the forum, it's surely a part of the whole...?

Sexually, I am not as mature as most women my age because I don't have hardly any experience (out of the ethnics of waiting for the right person), but I am more mature in other ways, and I honor that in me.

I can really relate to this, and it has gotten me in trouble, many times.
It taught me to be prepared for the consequences, which inevitably follow when I stick my neck out.

But over the years of painful spiritual development I have learnt to never stick my neck out on behalf of fragments of wholeness. My only war path is against corrupt politicians, war mongers, arms manufacturers and banksters.

To clarify further...I no longer defend women only, or men only, or children only, or the elderly, or the democrats, or the republicans....Because I can never be totally sure of what the higher purpose is of a given situation.

The only duality I now perceive is the more cosmic duality, of day versus night, and both create the rhythmic flow of time unfolding.

When it comes to perception, such as Like versus Dislike, I try to rise above it by choosing my preferences in the context of my overall aim, which is to strive for growth and unity, and even that without rushing into it.

Natalia, I hardly think you are any kind of shill, but let me try and give another angle on why this maybe wasn’t such a good idea as you thought. This comment is from last year, so you cannot take it personally – I must have posted this around the time when Flash’s life offline was picking up: that’s right, offline
    Quote Posted by araucaria (here)
There was no youtube 3400 years ago – and no more Sumerians either. I think Playdo meant 3400 BC. They might have had youtube, they seem to have had everything else.

Great to hear your news, Flash. This sounds like the real deal, you go for it

Sam, I personally don’t think it would be a good idea for forum members to get flirtatious. The forum is a haven where men and women can engage in frank discussions about all kinds of intimate subjects without all the usual pitfalls of that sort of emotional involvement. That is something too rare and precious to give up, although the possibility of two forum members coming together to form a couple is a wonderful idea too.

As to how a couple actually operates, it might help to be a rocket scientist to understand how a great thrust of energy can be created by mixing two different types of fuel. It is a double act where both might be doing different things. If, say, you take the formula ‘think globally, act locally’, then in our house, it would be me thinking globally and my wife acting locally, and the connection between the two that is producing the energy for both would be on the largely unspoken soul level of togetherness. My wife, while wise to the bigger picture enough to steer clear of all that stuff, simply takes her loving, bubbly nature to everyone she meets, and of course it rubs off on them. I leave that mostly to her, just as she mostly leaves the theoretical underpinning to me; the point being that neither of us would be nearly as effective in what we do without the other. This is the basis of any kind of team work, blending each other’s skills and covering each other’s weaknesses, and this is also what the forum is seeking to do on an altogether different scale. Hence there is no ‘business end’ whereby the so-called, or self-styled, awake and aware are contributing any more than others who seemingly do not fit that description.

Drats! Sorry to see you go, Shezbeth/FA. I enjoyed reading your take on things. Continued fun on your journey.
What the hell's going on around here
What’s going on here? A combo of movement, action, reaction, and awakening.

    Why? Like what?
    • escalation and flux of energies
    • growth of perceptions
    • natural progression of us in change
    • imbalance of virtual life
    • subjects of interest reach it’s natural end (for now)
    • champion what’s within
    • variation of philosophical perception too great
    • unverified information of uncertain origin spread by unchecked perceptions
    • outward movement sparks inward growth
    • life lived from an armchair is not life
    • topics no longer fit current phase of transformation
    My personal favorites:
    • Savor here & now
    • Savor here & now with family and friends cuz things change in a flash
    • Life

A confident, sensual being is uber sexy in a plain old 100% cotton tee-shirt.

Those ‘sexy’ clothes are too damn itchy and cold in the winter and sweaty hot in the summer.

My friend Rosie is back in an LA hospital, apparently very sick. Please send healing energy her way.

    Dear Rosie,
If it is your desire, may your mind, body and spirit catch the wave.

Inventory. It’s come to a point where a lot of food, medicines, seeds, batteries, alternative energy sources and items replaced for better efficiency that I’ve gathered years back have reached or are about to reach their expiration dates.

You know the ones in preparation for changes and disruptions and enough for other unprepared folks. And because of dietary upgrade, I no longer eat some of those backup staples.

Below is a 6 minute clip that encapsulate everything. “A Higher Conscious Conversation” was produced 34 years ago. Full version also added.

She makes a promise to not share anymore links with family members. If it is their path, they’ll discover all on their own.

    The End.

Chapter One. Opening scene. She sits down with a big bucket of buttered, non-GMO popcorn and lemon water, presses play on “Waiting to Exhale”. Num-num-num.

    A Higher Conscious Conversation

    My Dinner with Andre (1981)

Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory, apparently playing themselves, share their lives over the course of an evening meal at a restaurant. Gregory, a theater director from New York, is the more talkative of the pair. He relates to Shawn his tales of dropping out, traveling around the world, and experiencing the variety of ways people live, such as a monk who could balance his entire weight on his fingertips. Shawn listens avidly, but questions the value of Gregory's seeming abandonment of the pragmatic aspects of life.
