This shuffled onto my audio player earlier. Thought to share the video. Saw Kate Tempest perform her poetry in a really small club years ago. So much focused passion. Like the feeling of the words was bruising her insides, and bursting out through her heart, through her lips, and onto the air. Came across like she really cared. Not just angry. But full of love

What’s going on here? A combo of movement, action, reaction, and awakening.

Why? Like what?

• escalation and flux of energies
• growth of perceptions
• natural progression of us in change
• imbalance of virtual life
• subjects of interest reach it’s natural end (for now)
• champion what’s within
• variation of philosophical perception too great
• unverified information of uncertain origin spread by unchecked perceptions
• outward movement sparks inward growth
• life lived from an armchair is not life
• topics no longer fit current phase of transformation

My personal favorites:

• Savor here & now
• Savor here & now with family and friends cuz things change in a flash
• Life

Yea, that's crazy good. I have an old friend, very talented, who's left handed and taught himself to play on a right handed guitar, so he plays it upside down too. It takes a special kind. Love the blues...

The Ozma Problem.
The 18th chapter, "The Ozma Problem", poses a problem that Gardner claims would arise if Earth should ever enter into communication with life on another planet through Project Ozma. This is the problem of how to communicate the meaning of left and right, where the two communicants are conditionally not allowed to view any one object in common. The problem was first implied in Immanuel Kant's discussion of left and right, and William James mentioned it in his chapter on "The Perception of Space" in The Principles of Psychology (1890). It is also mentioned by Charles Howard Hinton.

The solution to the Ozma Problem was embodied in an experiment conducted by Chinese-American physicist Chien-Shiung Wu (1912-1997) involving the beta decay of cobalt-60. This experiment was the first to disprove the conservation of parity. However, Gardner added in the last chapter of his book that the Ozma Problem is only solved within our galaxy: due to the nature of antimatter, an antigalaxy would get the opposite result from the experiment conducted by Wu.
