🇩🇪7,500 Centuria members in Germany are overseen by Major General Michael Hochhwart, who has been in charge of the training command in Leipzig, Saxony, since September 2021.

To focus exclusively on the military situation in and around Ukraine is to miss this larger and more decisive point.

What is at stake for Putin is of course primarily the continuation of Russia as a Christian Orthodox nation; but achieving this entails a conflict with The West over the future direction of the world.

Unless this is acknowledged, then we will not understand Putin's strategy.

I more or less agree with you here.

Let's keep in mind also "New Nuremberg" because that will come down to brass tacks and tangible things quite easily.

What I would like to point out is the significance of Moscow being "New Byzantium".

That is because through the whole struggle for Greek independence--that is, of Europeans from Ottoman Turks--the re-conquest of actual Byzantium was sheared out of the realm of possibility. It was the plan of Catherine the Great to capture it, along with lots of neighboring territories, and then kick it out of Russia as an autonomous state. But then there is a bunch of dirt about how this did not happen, and, although Greek rebellion was *eventually* successful, that area remained in Turkey. Greece was given a Bavarian government.

Anything resembling the Patriarch of Constantinople as an advisor to the actual ruler was, as you see, extinct.

In thanks for this, the Ottomans got taken out, and we get this dreadful map-maker issue that has been well-practiced across India and Africa.

Singapore, 17 June 2024 - ST Engineering announced that its Land Systems business has secured contracts for NATO standard 155mm ammunition with new customers in Europe. The ammunition system is capable of engaging targets at a range of 30km with standard NATO 155mm/39 calibre guns and extends to 39km with 155mm/52 calibre guns, demonstrating superior range and effectiveness.

For example, the answer to the question as to what information the Federal Government and its subordinate authorities on the German branch of "Centuria", conclusions can be drawn about the state of knowledge of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) and the intelligence service methods and working methods, whereby the BfV's future intelligence gathering is permanently impaired or even made impossible in individual cases due to corresponding defense strategies. For example, a response could always lead to conclusions being drawn about information requiring secrecy and forms of cooperation. This threat of sustained impairment of the ability to function could have a serious disadvantage for the effective fulfillment of the tasks of the security authorities
and thus for the interests of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Careful consideration of the constitutionally guaranteed information rights of the German
information rights of the German Bundestag and its Members of Parliament with the negative consequences for the BfV's future ability to function and fulfill its tasks, as well as the resulting adverse effects on the security of the Federal Republic of Germany, it follows that that information in accordance with the secrecy regulations and the associated and the associated access via the German Bundestag's Secret Protection Office. The dynamic involves both parties. The "sea people" of the Mediterranean and North Atlantic (my ancestors) have been attacking the "land people" of central Eurasia (Russian and Slavic) for many centuries, with great loss of life.

They have, but, I believe we could show that there was a primarily peaceful trading route from Sweden to the Black Sea probably since at least the "Bronze Age".

At some point, relations soured, as "Slav" becomes the root word for "slave", and it is pretty clear the expansion of the Swedish Empire has everything to do with the stamping of modern countries out of it, much like ending the Ottoman Empire has everything to do with the modern countries there.

I agree that "sea people" have farms, mines, factories, cities and armies on the land.

I agree that "land people" trade, fish, and travel on the sea.

My use of the words "sea" and "land" here were not intended to be accurately and narrowly descriptive, but rather were one of the numerous ways of referring to the deep division that has been with humanity for (at least) thousands of years. The roots of this division are (apparently deliberately) obscured and controversial. I know no uniformly accepted and accurate terms for this division.
