    The Times publishes details of Zelensky's "victory plan"

    ▪️ Zelensky demands an analogue of NATO's Article 5 for Ukraine in his "victory plan".
    ▪️Security guarantees for Ukraine from Western countries, “similar to a mutual defense pact upon joining NATO”;
    ▪️International financial assistance for economic recovery;
    ▪️Provision of modern weapons from the West;
    ▪️Continuation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in the Kursk region;
    ▪️Zelensky will demand security guarantees from Biden that will not be subject to Trump's influence in the future if he wins the election. This is done to prevent Ukraine from being forced into an unfavorable peace agreement.

    Text:
    China Calls on NATO to "Resign" Along with Stoltenberg

    The North Atlantic Alliance is responsible for destabilizing European security, writes Global Times. NATO expansion has led to the Ukrainian crisis. The modern world does not need an alliance that, under the guise of defense, promotes confrontation.

    The Chinese publication sums up Stoltenberg's 10 years as NATO Secretary General in an editorial:

    ▫️NATO military spending has increased by more than 30 percent.

    ▫️The imaginary " Chinese threat " is inflated.

    ▫️The Ukrainian crisis was provoked.

    ▫️The well-being and stability of Europe suffered.

    ▫️NATO has become an obedient executor of Washington's will.

    ▫️Cooperation has been replaced by confrontation.

    ▫️Stable peace was achieved where the alliance interfered the least.

    NATO, with its Cold War mentality, propaganda of military force and misguided desire for absolute security, is time for the dustbin of history,

    - the authors conclude.

    Britain transmits intelligence to Ukraine collected by aircraft over the Black Sea - UK Defense Journal

    According to the UK Defense Journal, data collected by British RC-135W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft during regular flights over the Black Sea near Russia are transmitted via NATO countries to Ukraine.

    According to the publication, such flights of electronic reconnaissance aircraft are currently escorted by two Typhoon fighter jets. This, as the UK Defense Journal points out, "sends a clear signal to Russia that the UK will continue to collect intelligence despite the risks."

    ‼️🇺🇦🏴‍☠️How the Ukrainian Airborne Forces ended up in Myasoubka, trying to break through to Glushkovo in the Kursk region

    ▪️On the sim cards is the result of the offensive of the 95th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Medvezhye and Novy Put, the beginning of which was joyfully published today by all Ukrainian media, having received it from the airborne troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
    ▪️The breakthrough near the village of Medvezhye more than a week ago towards the Glushkovo station ended in a bloody failure for the Ukrainian Armed Forces: fighters of the 56th Airborne Regiment and other units destroyed several companies and a lot of equipment of the occupiers.
    ▪️On the screens is only part of the destroyed equipment and a few corpses.

    I am speaking of the past —— my generation were/are children of the Vietnam War and its atrocities (and to an extent also of French May 68 and of course of the sexual liberation)..

    I take it that means kids growing up in the Vietnam era.

    I am the next step, born since a baby is a good way out of the draft that might have called you into the thing. I am an asset of conscientious objection.

    I don't know if you are a good comparison, though, since you are not in America. Europe is full of history, most of those countries have eleven political parties in vociferous disagreement about this or that, it is definitely a running conversation; but in this country as we know, it was stifled. And so I don't think Americans understood Nuremberg, or in the JFK assassination there were not that many wild reactions, no one questioned the Korean assault, How could anyone have made it through the 60s--70s without some issues coming to light? Basically the same as we are digging up in messages new and old??

    [QUOTE}...but then there was Reagan, and later Gorbachev, Berlin, and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. At the latest at this moment “my circle” started to feel that there was something rotten going on. But the betrayal of Japan was the nail in the coffin...[/QUOTE]

    Similarly, I knew a lady who was born in Berlin in 1945, and due to connections, I got an actual piece of The Wall.

    My personal view was that this was all tremendously exciting, I don't care if someone has a communist form of government or whatever, but it is like a big anxiety was lifted, and travel became open. That is when it was said that NATO would not expand.

    Clinton was apparently partly resistant to Neocons, but, at a certain point--it may only be in his personal memoirs--Senator Helms, I think it was, wound up telling/forcing the President to do something, and the times changed, definitely back to something rotten going on. What happened to Japan and what makes this important?

    Although bound by a Constitution, the Chrysanthemum Throne is still valid:

    Japan is the oldest continuing hereditary monarchy in the world.

    According to legend, the Japanese monarchy is said to have been founded in 660 BC by Emperor Jimmu

    More things went sour, but now, Russia has a bridge to China, which is unthinkable. How does one manage to foul up international relations so thoroughly that this could happen?

    The incompetence of belief is mind-numbing. Hitler attacked the USSR out of his own personal motive, whereas, realistically, he probably could have had a really Big Germany which would have included most of Europe. Similarly, the NATO swarm probably could have engulfed several countries for centuries, if it had not tried to militarize Ukraine.

    Reflecting on the post-Soviet era, the main complaint of rottenness that I can recall was outsourcing.

    All I remember is the despair of it. I don't really recall anyone criticizing the intricacies of how governments and companies operate. Mostly they seem to resort to "this is all beyond us" for a rationalization. The more the post-Soviet NATO expansion, the less they say.

    More things went sour, but now, Russia has a bridge to China, which is unthinkable. How does one manage to foul up international relations so thoroughly that this could happen?

    Indeed.

    This could win an Avalon award for 'question of the week'.
    My rather odd view is quite the contrary.

    Getting Russia and China, and now a majority of the nations, a majority of the people, and the owners of a preponderance of earth's resources, of the world cooperating is leading to the collapse of a debt-money leveraged "Western" oligarchy that has tyrannized humanity for centuries.

    Brilliant (though as we enter what might be the climatic chaos of all this, there's no sure telling yet whether humanity will gain or lose in the end, nor does it seem even that we agree by what metrics to measure the outcome.)

    Russia Has List of Names of Kursk Region Civilians Held by Ukraine's Forces 9 hours ago

    MOSCOW, (Sputnik) - Russia has a list of names of civilians from the Kursk region held by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it has been handed over to law enforcement agencies, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, told Sputnik.

    "There is a list of names. This list has been handed over to law enforcement agencies, including [Russian Commissioner for Human Rights] Tatyana Moskalkova. It is along this line that pressure should be exerted on the Ukrainian side, because this is a direct violation of international humanitarian law. It is resolved through pressure or victory on the battlefield," Miroshnik said, noting that the list was compiled based on information from relatives.
    He added that in Sudzha, Ukrainian troops were holding from 70 to 120 civilians from the Kursk region in a building. According to Miroshnik, the actual number of people held by the Ukrainian forces may be higher.

    Why Does Ukraine’s Push for Gripen and Eurofighter Jets Make No Sense? 4 hours ago

    Swedish Air Forces JAS 39 Gripen jet fighter

    Ukraine possessing a fleet of various Western warplanes will have a negative impact on the efficiency of each and every such aircraft, Russian military analyst Ilya Kramnik tells Sputnik, commenting on reports that the Kiev regime is in talks with allies "to acquire Swedish Gripen and European Eurofighter jets."

    "But one should understand that no one will give Kiev these planes. And even if they give them, there will be no one in Ukraine to fly them because there are no trained pilots. The most important thing, though, is that there is a big question mark on who will maintain these warplanes," Litovkin stresses.

    When asked which Russian warplanes could counter the Gripens and the Eurofighters, he refers to the Su-30 and the Su-35, which are "better than any foreign aircraft in many parameters."
    “Firstly, all these [foreign] aircraft we are talking about are single-engine, and they are fitted with less weapons than our aircraft. Secondly, the Su-30s and the Su-35s have a thrust-vectoring module to perform aerobatics in the sky, which helps these two warplanes evade enemy missiles. The planes are also better than the Gripens and the Eurofighters in terms of missile- and radar-related characteristics,” Litovkin concludes.

    I think we are saying the same thing?

    Text doesn't convey /sarcasm mode very well. Of course I am impressed that Russia and China could put behind a conflict which was probably embedded at a visceral, racist level. I'm trying to use this as a "backfiring" of the plans by said Oligarchy, which, again, Hitler-esque, if it listened to sensible military advice, would have worked better. In the future, we may learn the varying Russian and Chinese ways of how to prevent Oligarchy. We will be learning from them while Infinite Growth tanks, Capitalism was dead on Reagan's doorstep, and the like...if we are capable of learning..."listening" is a first step that has not been taken.

    I'm going to get raped by taxes for Israel and Ukraine...see you later folks.

    🇷🇺🇺🇦 Chronicle of a special military operation
    for September 24, 2024

    For the second day, Russian troops have been inflicting massive fire damage on enemy industrial facilities in Zaporozhye and Kharkov, as well as the temporarily occupied Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

    In the Kursk direction, the Inokhodets UAV destroyed an IMR-2 guided missile of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Sumy region. Counter battles continue in the Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts.

    In the Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian formations carried out a counterattack in the area of the Volchansk Aggregate Plant, gaining a foothold in the ruins of the industrial zone.

    In the Aleksandro - Kalinovsky direction, the Russian Armed Forces are fighting on Lesnaya Street in Dzerzhinsk , where heavy clashes are taking place in dense urban areas.

    In the South Donetsk direction, Russian troops began to storm the southeastern outskirts of Ugledar and expanded the zone of control in the Vodyane area.

    Text:
    🇷🇺🇺🇦 Kursk direction: another use of the Inokhodets UAV and fighting in the Sudzhansky district

    Situation by the end of September 24, 2024

    In the Kursk direction, Russian troops continue to fight along the entire line of contact.

    In the Korenevsky district, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding positions in Olgovka , where UAV operators have been working on enemy infantry. Fighting continues in the Lyubimovka area, and Russian aviation is striking Tolstoy Lug. An armored vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was hit on the Rylsk-Sudzha highway.

    In Sudzhansky district yesterday there were statements about the Russian Armed Forces' control over Malaya Loknya. However, these reports were later refuted by the received footage of airstrikes on enemy positions in the village.

    In Sudzha, drone operators are attacking enemy communications facilities, and in Cherkasskoye Porechnoye and Martynovka, strikes are being carried out on areas where Ukrainian forces are concentrated.

    ▪️On the border of Sumy Oblast, the strike and reconnaissance UAV "Inohodets" ("Orion") recently destroyed a very rare enemy engineering vehicle for clearing obstacles with guided missile weapons in the area of the village of Pavlovka.

    As a result of a direct hit, the vehicle is unlikely to be repaired. The increase in the frequency of GUVP strikes from the Inokhodets and Forpost is also associated with effective strikes on air defense systems and radars, which made it possible to use these types of drones relatively safely.
