Dear Friends, relax — this is not gonna happen.

I was just going to make a post about this saying the same thing.

Trump is doing what he does best, trolling.....and it's obviously working effectively. Many are losing their minds over this!

He obviously wants Jordan and Egypt (and anyone else who is willing) to step up to the plate and help those people in Gaza.

Yep. He's just sort of peacocking on the world stage to create leverage and bargaining chips.

I actually had to talk down the security guard at my job tonight; he really thinks Trump is going to invade Canada!

The last decade has been like one big worldwide sociopolitical reality show, with Trump as the main star. We've all been exposed to him non-stop, 24 hrs a day. And it surprises me that some people really don't understand him by now. Or they do and pretend they don't. He's a dyed in the wool hyperbolist. It's pretty obvious by now when he's talking out of his ass and when he isn't. And it's pretty obvious why he's doing it in most cases. Yet quite a few seem to be missing the plot. And it's kind of amusing to watch them lose their sh!t over it!

TDS is still alive and real!

Trump spent his whole life and also throughout 2 Presidential Campaigns strongly against war and conquering nations, yet, these last few weeks he comes out swinging that he's going to conquer Canada, Mexico, Greenland, and Panama.

Now he's going to take over Gaza and build it into the Riviera of the middle east!

If that ain't master trolling, I don't know what is! Brain matter is squirting out of the ears of many people infected with Trump Derangement Syndrome!

Pop some more popcorn, the shows about to get even more wilder. He's about to go after some of his political opponents. But unlike what these folks did to him, they actually committed numerous serious real crimes and treason.

I believe Bondi and others will actually expose all these crimes and treason first and force feed it all into the news cycle before indictments are presented. It's already happening now to a large degree.

I had to stop listening to the Bongino video in the above post #257 when he claimed that the Palestinians have had ownership of Gaza only since 2005 when Israel 'gave' it to them. Completely inaccurate. The ignorance of americans about the history of that conflict will play a major part in their undoing.

Otherwise, I agree with Bongino when he says that Trump's style is one of 'trolling', by means of provocative decrees. And that we need to stop reacting to that. Yes!

However, that sort of style is not only wearisome (I for one am really tired of Trump's antics), it is also politically ineffective in the long run (or more likely in the short run in Trump's case). People are increasingly less interested of dealing with unreliable clownish characters who are losing credibility by the minute and wasting everybody's time.

So, I would like to propose the following to all of Trump supporters. Please urge him to withdraw the US from the UN Security Council (UNSC). Trump has already withdrawn from the WHO, and the UN Human Rights Council. Tell him to go all the way and ALSO get out of the UNSC.

To date, the US membership on the UNSC has mostly consisted of vetoing proposed resolutions for ceasefire in Gaza, or Palestinian state recognition. So, the world community would greatly benefit from the US leaving, and letting the adults in the UNSC solve the problems. Tell Trump that by withdrawing from the UNSC he would get unconstrained opportunities for displaying his antics. (Whether he'd have much of an audience is another question.)

I was taken aback about the statements by President Trump whilst Bibi was sitting there like cheshire cat, thinking he got everything he wants and more.

It was a bit theatrical and over th top when President Trump pushed in Bibi's chair, was he trying to to make a statement as to how the US politicians are / were subservant to Israel.

Furthermore he doesn't want to be spending money or time cleaning up the mess in the middle east it's their problem take care of, America first , not Israel or the middle east first.

So, he has putting Bibi and Israel in the global spot light, everyone everywhere and " especially " in the middle east are talking about this one statement by President Trump.

The proposal sounds crazy the USA taking over Gaza or even kicking the Palestinians out of their land.

So we know some or most part of the middle east leadership are in the pockets of the Israelis and they do not care about the fate of the Palestinians, but the muslim people of the middle east do, as evidenced by the huge protests globally in support of the Palestinians.

The middle eastern muslim world would be enraged at proposal and they would be talking about nothing else.

For the last 77 years (interesting number) since the Independence of Israel in 1948 the muslim world has been watching genocide of the palestinian people, a death by a thousand cuts. And powerless to do anything about it because of the US backing.

Now President Trump has put the spot light on the influence Israel has over USA politicians and on Bibi and Israel.

The question is how are the muslim people of the middle east going to react and are the leadership going to be forced to react and save Gaza or flee for their lives when the people revolt against their inaction.

(Is this also a opportunity for Iran to revolt against the Rahbar and the political class, the name Persia has such a nice ring to it unlike Iran)

It just a theory, but maybe the middle eastern people will be finally fired up enough to do something about the jewish question in relation to the Palestinians.

This theme that Gaza was given to Palestinians by Israelis is a common Jewish saying - I heard it from Jews in my city - because they accepted to confine the Palestinians there if I am not mistaken (from old memory) during the 6 days war. However there is also a will and desire in the orthodox communities to reclaim as theirs any land that was inhabited by Jewish people (and many others)?after their escape from Egypt thousands of years ago, since it was God’s gift to them. I may be wrong, but it rings like that to me. I am actually going to conferences on the creation of Israel. I will know more in two weeks.

Prof Marandi and Alastair Crooke on Dmitri Simes' New Rules podcast which I haven't listened to yet in its entirety, but, have leapt forward as suggested here to around the 17:50 mark where they all discuss what really may have been Trump's game-plan with his Gaza comments. Sure to be very good, and the sense I'm getting here at the moment is that this may well have an element, as has been suggested before, of a little showbiz, and a clever kind of entrapment. Trump really is no fan of Netanyahu, as is pointed out here: some concessions may need to be made, but maybe not quite the way the knee-jerk responses may suggest:
