Extraordinary Footage - Part 1
Forget the clickbait fakes on youtube and X. Here follows a collection of the *real thing* (albeit self-nominated) purporting to show genuine UFO sightings. These are the few that rise above many of the dubious clips we see, and on which debunkers remain mostly silent. These, also, long pre-date the availability of CGI, and have stood the test of time. They represent, in my humble opinion, The Genuine Article.
The Las Lomas Sighting, Mexico, Aug 6th 1997
Object videoed hovering over high-rise blocks in Mexico City.
Documentary Piece
The Marvin Badilla video, Costa Rica, 2007
A fairly low-quality video (early camera phone, in this instance a Motorola RAZR V3) but an excellent-quality case. Two young carpenters at work are disturbed by a strange buzzing sound. An object is seen hovering over a nearby creek. Marvin Badilla whips out his phone and calls his mate's attention. Unfortunately, he's busy sanding and misses it. Much like the Las Lomas UFO, the object is seen to wobble and rotate gently in the few seconds of captured footage, before zipping away in a most extraordinary manoeuvre.
Documentary Piece
Hungary, 2009ish
Little is known about this one, but it's "meant" to be genuine (passed the cgi smell-test). The speed and manoeuvrability of the object rules out conventional aircraft of any kind.
Unknown livecam
Another lesser-known piece of footage captured on a live-stream.
The Concorde Drone
Now famous footage of Concorde from a public relations film in 1976. The unknown object that "buzzed" the airliner was captured on a plane flying in formation by professionals with professional equipment. It has not been explained to this day.
Accidental Capture
Documentary makers capture a mystery object in the skies of Somerset, UK, April 7th, 1998.
