This is similar to the NY Times; they were perceived as a very trustworthy publication, which was never true. But like the BBC, their hate for Trump was their undoing. Watching Trump push back their globalist agenda, and at the same time, he was attacking and accusing them of being fake news, was just too much for them to take. It has been delightful to watch their demise. The world has moved beyond the mainstream news, but the BBC, Times and other outlets just don't know it yet.Posted by Mark (Star Mariner) (here)
The bolded part above is likely a true statement. Around the world (less so at home) the BBC probably is perceived as the most trusted news provider. That's because their decades-long gaslighting campaign has just been that good! A top-tier propaganda outlet of which the KGB would be proud.Posted by norman (here)
Speaking to reporters outside Broadcasting House, Ms Turness said: "I stepped down over the weekend because the buck stops with me, but I would like to make one thing very clear.
"BBC News is not institutionally biased, that's why it's the world's most trusted news provider."

Perhaps this thread should be retitled, as they are many more instances of fake news and /or social programming stories pedalled by the BBC.
Pseudo-scientific claptrap:
