There's no life or energy here. It's like he's going through the motions. I guess this is what happens when one sells their soul.

Hate to say it but it probably does need to happen.

    It's happening.

Even Hezbollah is now shooting Tel Aviv at 135+ km.

The Haifa refinery won't affect global energy, but, Israel has limited fuel sources.

    Without fuel, no Air Force.

    That's like a two-for-one.

And yes, in ultimate fairness, places deserve what they dish out. We still haven't accounted for carpet bombing 30% of the Koreans in the 1950s. Instead, we have continued to heap up the atrocities. The US is at least big enough that some of its people played constructive roles; it is particularly at the federal level that it is thoroughly damned.

Ultimately, it served a value, that is, taking in almost anyone from poverty and conflict zones; has Israel done that?

No, it's just an invasion with some talking points used for spin purposes to bilk the gullible, such as, perhaps, the Israelis.

The "anti-semitic" United Nations was used as a front for such points, since, throughout its history, Israel thrived by the US veto, until the US vetoed the whole thing by annihilating the Charter on behalf of Israel.

This is the foremost in Satanic behavior.

That may mean different things to different people, so, it is kind of a smear, but to call the religious deviations behind the moves "Anti-Christ" is the teaching of Christianity. It cannot possibly apply to Jews, but, describes most of the Americans. Simple explanation for a new generation of kids coming to voting age who see us as having embodied pure evil by committing genocide and so forth.

A blackout with, say, an impressive Iron Dome actually working, you'd go, oh, well they are probably mostly safe and a few incidents are unavoidable and I don't need to know. But, it is reliable enough that Zion is defenseless, and it is terribly fragile. They can hide whatever they want and it won't make any difference.

Telling lies, like our President, changes nothing.

Anyone ever noticed that? Ever been on the receiving end of someone's dishonesty or ignorance and had to sit through it with a straight face so you could deal with it another way?

I have, but, my situations were never anything that ended human lives. And these people have the audacity to steal from me, lie to my face, and then go off and bomb the world.

It's like 9/11, you can take that Patriotic jingle and ram it up your snout sideways, Fourth Reich.

    Same thing. Same damn thing.

This is what is happening in Dubai.

Quote The ten-day figure is a fresh produce specific estimate, not a total food supply figure. Dubai has substantial dry goods, frozen stocks, and strategic grain reserves maintained by the UAE government. The population is not facing famine. What it is facing is the moment when the visible symbol of a globalized, prosperous, interconnected city, a fully stocked supermarket, begins to thin. That thinning is a political event as much as a logistical one.

The UAE government has absorbed 1,072 Iranian drones, suspended 70 percent of regional flights, watched its data centers targeted, and seen its Fujairah bypass route threatened. Empty produce aisles in Dubai Spinneys is the point where the population that has so far watched the war with alarm rather than hunger begins to feel it directly.

The war’s civilian transmission mechanism has arrived. Not through inflation statistics that take months to compile. Through the absence of tomatoes.

Iran has now demonstrated it can reach the molecular composition of the food supply of its adversaries’ allied cities within ten days of opening hostilities. That is an entirely new category of coercive leverage. It does not require a weapon capable of hitting a supermarket. It only requires the ability to close the routes that the supermarket depends on.

The bypass route for oil was Fujairah. The bypass route for food was air cargo. Both are now compromised. There is no third route.

One more fish in a barrel statement, using munitions not previously risked:

Quote The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the start of Wave 26 of Operation True Promise 4, reporting that missiles struck targets from the north to the south of the occupied territories.

The statement from the IRGC Public Relations Office reads as follows: “During Wave 26 of Operation True Promise 4, in a combined drone–missile operation under the sacred code name Ya Heydar Karrar, targets from the north to the south of the occupied territories were precisely hit with new-generation Emad, Ghadr, and multi-warhead Kheibar missiles.

Considering that the enemy’s radar systems were destroyed in previous waves, striking targets has become much easier, and by God’s grace all missiles fired are hitting their designated targets.”
The enemies of humanity have (typically) conspired to hide the 'evidence' but all reliable sources are suggesting Tel Aviv is being gradually turned into dust. Not that I wish ill on those who are haplessly stuck there, but, you know, karma, and that.

Hate to say it but it probably does need to happen.

Buckle up; this may have been a reason many of us reincarnated here, at this time, where there was always the timeline possibility this could happen.

    Jesus wept.
Bibi is definitely one of those people who clearly wants war. I think it was David Icke who said this has been a dream of Bibi for 40 years. It just simply doesn't matter to him how many life this is gonna coast. Only thing that matters is to create Israel bigger. And now that Trump is involved, who apparently has ties to him, it's gonna get much much worse. Bill posted that one post of Russian officer who had said that he would be ready to go help Iran. You know what that means right? Not a proxy war anymore.

    Interesting, but hardly surprising:

Graham Coached Netanyahu on How to Lobby Trump for Strikes on Iran, Wall Street Journal Reports

The Wall Street Journal reports that Senator Lindsey Graham played a central role in lobbying Donald Trump to launch strikes against Iran, repeatedly pushing the U.S. president toward military action behind the scenes.

According to the outlet, Graham spent months pressing Trump to approve the operation. At one point he even tried to frame the decision in historical terms, asking Trump to think about what defining phrase his presidency would be remembered for and suggesting: “Keep protesting, help is on the way,” referring to Trump’s earlier message encouraging unrest inside Iran.

The Wall Street Journal notes that few figures around Trump argued for an attack as persistently as Graham. Critics in both parties openly accuse him of pushing the United States toward another Middle East war without any long-term strategy.

Rep. Tim Burchett remarked that Graham “hasn’t seen a fist fight he hasn’t wanted to turn into a bombing raid,” while Senator Rand Paul accused him of trying to drag the MAGA movement toward regime-change policies.

The report also highlights Graham’s direct coordination with Israel in the run-up to the strikes. He traveled several times to Israel in recent weeks, where he met with members of the country’s intelligence services and held discussions with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Graham openly acknowledged that Israeli officials provided him with intelligence assessments and that he coached Netanyahu on how to lobby Trump for military action. According to Graham, the Israeli leader later presented intelligence directly to Trump that helped convince the president to authorize the strike.

Graham also contacted Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to signal that the operation against Iran was likely coming.

Even after the bombing began, Graham showed little concern about the consequences. In comments cited by the Wall Street Journal, he said the United States should not worry about responsibility for what happens next in Iran, arguing that Washington should act whenever it believes a threat exists.

The senator also indicated he is already encouraging further interventions, mentioning Lebanon and even Cuba as possible future targets.

    Dialogue works

Striking desalination plants is a losing move for the US and Israel. It's the front that no strategist would ever open. There is no strategy here, only desperation, and it's deepening by the hour as their surrender approaches.

🇮🇷⚔️🇺🇸🇮🇱Iran FM Araghchi: The enemy cannot just stop the aggression and expect us to stop as well; this time the situation is different

Host: Trump said there will be no deal with Iran except with "unconditional surrender." Will Iran agree to such a surrender to end this war?

Araghchi: This is exactly what he said in the previous war; when Israel attacked us, President Trump used the phrase "unconditional surrender" and tweeted it. But that did not happen. We resisted, and after 12 days, it was the Israelis who requested an unconditional ceasefire. Therefore, we will never surrender. We will resist as long as necessary. We defend ourselves; our land, our people, and our dignity. Our dignity is not negotiable.

Host: What conditions would Iran accept to end this war?

Araghchi: We have not reached that stage yet. This time the situation is different from before. Last time, they attacked us, killed our people, destroyed our infrastructure, and then requested a ceasefire. We accepted it in good faith because we were only defending ourselves. When the aggression stopped, we stopped as well. But this did not lead to peace. This year, they attacked us again, killing our people again; girls, students. They attack hospitals, desalination plants, refineries, and many other places. People have been killed and many places destroyed. Now they are asking for a ceasefire again. This cannot be. There must be a permanent end to the war, and until we reach that point, I think it is necessary to continue fighting for the security of our people.

Host: Could Iran agree to return to the negotiating table and end this military conflict with a ceasefire?

Araghchi: First, they must explain why they started this aggression, then we can talk about a ceasefire. Of course, no one wants the war to continue. This war is not ours and was not our choice. This war was imposed on us by the United States and Israel. They started this war illegally, without provocation or justification. What we are doing is legitimate defense, and we have every right to defend ourselves. So it is not fair for them to stop the aggression and then ask us to stop as well. As I said, this time the situation is different.

Prof. Marandi: HUGE gatherings taking place across Iran every night.

In Tehran alone, crowds fill around 20 different squares — tens of thousands in each.

Despite missile attacks and many residents leaving the city, millions are still on the streets.

People chant while anti-aircraft defenses fire above them.

And no one runs. Men and women stand their ground.

The mood in Tehran is very defiant — people are UNITED.

Though it is day, the sun cannot be seen in Tehran today because of all the smoke following the US and Israel bombing Tehran's oil refineries. People on the ground describe it as armageddon.

History will not forgive Reza Pahlavi, Masih Alinejad, Nazanin Boniadi, and all other "leaders" who tricked Iranians into thinking this war would set them free.

    Quote Posted by Szymon (here)
This is what is happening in Dubai.

Continuing the bullish game, or how to drag Asia into a religious world war -today

Events are moving so fast that there's simply no time to analyze and delve deeper. Just recently, I wrote about how the US is pushing Pakistan into war with Afghanistan and, conversely, Afghanistan into war with Pakistan. Today, we can already see why the US, and most importantly, Israel, needed this. What's hidden always comes to light. However, most people notice it too late, when the train has already left the station.

So, yesterday, Israel launched a military operation, or rather, an occupation, against Lebanon. They wrapped their ambitions in the veneer of creating a buffer zone and began the takeover. It'll all work out under the table. No one cares about Lebanon these days. Tel Aviv is laying claim to no less than 15% of the territory. Quite a piece of cake. Moreover, the Jews are acting in the same way as the Nazis did in the late 30s and early 40s. "The Lebanese must leave this territory or be exterminated!"

These aren't the words of some MP or official. This is an official statement from the Israeli government, slightly paraphrased by me. We care about the Lebanese, you understand. Leave your homes, or we'll start carpet bombing and basically decide to clear the land for Israeli settlements. Israel doesn't have enough living space. And the Arabs will get by. The Palestinians, on the other hand, are somehow getting by. And the Lebanese will fit right in. Especially since 85% of Lebanon is still being left to them out of charity.

And what about the "international community"? Nothing. It's business as usual, unless it involves Russia or Belarus. We express concern and offer to negotiate with the parties to the conflict. Yet, there's zero action. It's understandable: in a kennel, it's not the pack leader who's in charge, but the kennel master. Even so, it's the kennel master. And the kennel master said that Israel must not be touched.

I've written many times that all international treaties today aren't worth the paper they're written on. What "norms of international law"? What UN decisions? The American president explained the situation very accurately when he spoke of "very bad Spain," which refused to allow American troops to use its military bases. "If we want, we'll fly in and station them. And they won't do anything to us." That's international law for you today.

And one more nuance related to the war against Iran. This time, it concerns two nuclear powers that have been "successfully hating each other" for many years. I'm talking about Pakistan and India. It would seem far away and "they'll figure it out themselves, it's not the first time." Previously, yes, people were afraid of the reaction of Russia and the United States. Today, the situation has changed. I'll let you in on a little secret: I'm almost certain that we'll see tactical nuclear weapons in the near future. weapon In action.

Why? Because they failed to defeat Iran. The "Blitzkrieg" failed. And neither the US nor Israel expected to fight for long. A ground operation? Against Iranians enraged by the murder of children? No one is stupid. Let the "second-class citizens" fight the Persians. Second-class citizens for the Israelis and Americans are Arabs and others, including Russians, by the way. The Kurds are already joining in.

Trump's plan is clear. To turn the war into a religious massacre between Muslims. Shiites and Sunnis will slit each other's throats, while the "first-class" will watch TV and complain about the "savagery" of Asians. Impossible? Well, yes. Just last night, one religious leader declared that "defending American bases is a sacred duty for Muslims."

And this is where the issue of Pakistan, which possesses nuclear weapons, comes up. Trump has many opportunities to force Pakistan to declare war on Iran. Islamabad is currently like a ball bearing under pressure. It seems strong, but to what extent, no one can say. On one side, it's under pressure from the Americans, on the other, from the Chinese. And India could soon join in. We're talking about very serious economic losses for both countries.

Why would the Americans need Pakistan as a participant in the war? Let me remind you that Iran completely blocked the Strait of Hormuz. So many analysts wrote back then that the ones who would suffer most from this were not the US, but Europe and China. Many wrote that Iran had managed to "****" its main enemies. But that's not true. And Tehran understands this. China is not Iran's enemy. And today it receives oil through another port, Chabahar, which is located outside the Strait of Hormuz. Besides China, this port is a source of oil for India!

So, this very port could be occupied by Pakistan! I've already written about the trade routes that the war between Afghanistan and Pakistan has put into question. Now, hydrocarbon supplies to China and India will be in the same question. What's next? And then, if events continue in this direction, New Delhi will be forced to stop Islamabad. How? Clearly, not by persuasion. And Beijing will help. What a joke it will be, involving three nuclear powers.

But that's not all. I wrote above about the "second-class" who are supposed to fight for Washington's interests. Which country are we forgetting? The former Soviet republic that borders Iran and has a fairly large diaspora of its compatriots in Iran. And about Azerbaijan. Baku has already put its armed forces on heightened combat readiness. They've already massed troops on the border. Why? Probably "exercises"...

And the most disgusting thing: if Baku also gets involved in the war, will Russia be able to remain neutral? It's a complex question, and I won't answer it. I believe every reader has the right to answer it for themselves.

A very serious "mess" is brewing. It's very reminiscent of the 30s. Only now, Asia is being substituted for Europe. Europe will be the "periphery" of the war. And the United States is once again on the sidelines...

In this thread, which is naturally attracting so much attention, now might be a good time to jog people's memory of President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Farewell Address (1961)

    Quote Transcript

    My fellow Americans:

Three days from now, after half a century in the service of our country, I shall lay down the responsibilities of office as, in traditional and solemn ceremony, the authority of the Presidency is vested in my successor.

This evening I come to you with a message of leave-taking and farewell, and to share a few final thoughts with you, my countrymen.

Like every other citizen, I wish the new President, and all who will labor with him, Godspeed. I pray that the coming years will be blessed with peace and prosperity for all.

Our people expect their President and the Congress to find essential agreement on issues of great moment, the wise resolution of which will better shape the future of the Nation.

My own relations with the Congress, which began on a remote and tenuous basis when, long ago, a member of the Senate appointed me to West Point, have since ranged to the intimate during the war and immediate post-war period, and, finally, to the mutually interdependent during these past eight years.

In this final relationship, the Congress and the Administration have, on most vital issues, cooperated well, to serve the national good rather than mere partisanship, and so have assured that the business of the Nation should go forward. So, my official relationship with the Congress ends in a feeling, on my part, of gratitude that we have been able to do so much together.

    ******

We now stand ten years past the midpoint of a century that has witnessed four major wars among great nations. Three of these involved our own country. Despite these holocausts America is today the strongest, the most influential and most productive nation in the world. Understandably proud of this pre-eminence, we yet realize that America's leadership and prestige depend, not merely upon our unmatched material progress, riches and military strength, but on how we use our power in the interests of world peace and human betterment.

    ******

Throughout America's adventure in free government, our basic purposes have been to keep the peace; to foster progress in human achievement, and to enhance liberty, dignity and integrity among people and among nations. To strive for less would be unworthy of a free and religious people. Any failure traceable to arrogance, or our lack of comprehension or readiness to sacrifice would inflict upon us grievous hurt both at home and abroad.

Progress toward these noble goals is persistently threatened by the conflict now engulfing the world. It commands our whole attention, absorbs our very beings. We face a hostile ideology-global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose, and insidious in method. Unhappily the danger it poses promises to be of indefinite duration. To meet it successfully, there is called for, not so much the emotional and transitory sacrifices of crisis, but rather those which enable us to carry forward steadily, surely, and without complaint the burdens of a prolonged and complex struggle-with liberty at stake. Only thus shall we remain, despite every provocation, on our charted course toward permanent peace and human betterment.

Crises there will continue to be. In meeting them, whether foreign or domestic, great or small, there is a recurring temptation to feel that some spectacular and costly action could become the miraculous solution to all current difficulties. A huge increase in newer elements of our defense; development of unrealistic programs to cure every ill in agriculture; a dramatic expansion in basic and applied research-these and many other possibilities, each possibly promising in itself, may be suggested as the only way to the road we wish to travel.

But each proposal must be weighed in the light of a broader consideration: the need to maintain balance in and among national programs-balance between the private and the public economy, balance between cost and hoped for advantage-balance between the clearly necessary and the comfortably desirable; balance between our essential requirements as a nation and the duties imposed by the nation upon the individual; balance between action of the moment and the national welfare of the future. Good judgment seeks balance and progress; lack of it eventually finds imbalance and frustration.

The record of many decades stands as proof that our people and their government have, in the main, understood these truths and have responded to them well, in the face of stress and threat. But threats, new in kind or degree, constantly arise. I mention two only.

    ******

A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction.

Our military organization today bears little relation to that known by any of my predecessors in peace time, or indeed by the fighting men of World War II or Korea.

Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United State corporations.

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence-economic, political, even spiritual-is felt in every city, every state house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

Akin to, and largely responsible for the sweeping changes in our industrial-military posture, has been the technological revolution during recent decades.

In this revolution, research has become central; it also becomes more formalized, complex, and costly. A steadily increasing share is conducted for, by, or at the direction of, the Federal government.

Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been over shadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.

It is the task of statesmanship to mold, to balance, and to integrate these and other forces, new and old, within the principles of our democratic system-ever aiming toward the supreme goals of our free society.

    ******

Another factor in maintaining balance involves the element of time. As we peer into society's future, we-you and I, and our government-must avoid the impulse to live only for today, plundering, for our own ease and convenience, the precious resources of tomorrow. We cannot mortgage the material assets of our grandchildren without risking the loss also of their political and spiritual heritage. We want democracy to survive for all generations to come, not to become the insolvent phantom of tomorrow.

    ******

Down the long lane of the history yet to be written America knows that this world of ours, ever growing smaller, must avoid becoming a community of dreadful fear and hate, and be, instead, a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect.

Such a confederation must be one of equals. The weakest must come to the conference table with the same confidence as do we, protected as we are by our moral, economic, and military strength. That table, though scarred by many past frustrations, cannot be abandoned for the certain agony of the battlefield.

Disarmament, with mutual honor and confidence, is a continuing imperative. Together we must learn how to compose difference, not with arms, but with intellect and decent purpose. Because this need is so sharp and apparent I confess that I lay down my official responsibilities in this field with a definite sense of disappointment. As one who has witnessed the horror and the lingering sadness of war-as one who knows that another war could utterly destroy this civilization which has been so slowly and painfully built over thousands of years-I wish I could say tonight that a lasting peace is in sight.

Happily, I can say that war has been avoided. Steady progress toward our ultimate goal has been made. But, so much remains to be done. As a private citizen, I shall never cease to do what little I can to help the world advance along that road.

    ******

So-in this my last good night to you as your President-I thank you for the many opportunities you have given me for public service in war and peace. I trust that in that service you find somethings worthy; as for the rest of it, I know you will find ways to improve performance in the future.

You and I-my fellow citizens-need to be strong in our faith that all nations, under God, will reach the goal of peace with justice. May we be ever unswerving in devotion to principle, confident but humble with power, diligent in pursuit of the Nation's great goals.

To all the peoples of the world, I once more give expression to America's prayerful and continuing inspiration:

We pray that peoples of all faiths, all races, all nations, may have their great human needs satisfied; that those now denied opportunity shall come to enjoy it to the full; that all who yearn for freedom may experience its spiritual blessings; that those who have freedom will understand, also, its heavy responsibilities; that all who are insensitive to the needs of others will learn charity; that the scourges of poverty, disease and ignorance will be made to disappear from the earth, and that, in the goodness of time, all peoples will come to live together in a peace guaranteed by the binding force of mutual respect and love.
