Always thought it was hypocritical of the US and Israel to have nukes and then refuse another country the same right. It feels akin to banning guns before imposing total tyranny ala the UK, Australia, etc. Israel is so deceptive they refrained from signing the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. I wish Iran had nuclear weapons too, and in reality they do now because of the other countries supporting them like Russia, China, and Pakistan. Every man, woman, and child should have the right to arm themselves, same for all countries around the world. It's the only thing keeping the genocidal war lovers in check. Most likely the nuke fear is all contrived and just an excuse to bring about their long sought end of the world finale. In the beginning of the conflict Trump was all over the place and the reason to begin bombing Iran changed again and again, like someone was speaking in his ear and telling him what to say.

I'd be pretty sure this is nonsense. Iran doesn't need or want ICBMs (long range intercontinental missiles) that could easily reach the US.

They just need a means of deterring Israel. Advanced hypersonic short range missiles, which can't be intercepted by anything, are all that's required. And they have thousands of those already.

(Far more useful to the Iranians might be a few more submarines )

Paul Craig Roberts is correct. The Neocon/Israeli goal is extermination. They will never stop. As Paul points out how do you negotiate with someone whose intent is to destroy you. We are too civilized to get it.
